Attended the Strength & Balance Class and was greeted with a warm welcome. I must say, it's a relaxing place with a great ambience and the café is like an oasis. It feels like home and the staff are very receptive. The facilities are really user friendly for people who have a disability, good ♿wheelchair access, 🚾 toilets and 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧family orientated, a space for all. I have not tried out the cafe yet but from what I have seen so far it looks delightful and I look forward to trying it out real soon. Also good transport service too, whether you prefer the bus or train. If you have not visited yet, I urge you to give it a try!

Great place to visit, so welcoming and friendly it is like you have been a friend for years even if it is your first visit. They have something going on every day, from lunches where you an get a warm meal to games afternoons where you can meet new friends and have a laugh. They also have nurses dropping in to help with any bandage dressing you may require and advise on any health problems. To many events to list so recommend looking on their website, which is something they also help with. Highly recommended.

It’s been a while since my last visit !! I was invited to a meeting taking place in the “sunshine “ room and I knew from my last visit that this must be further work in progress! I parked outside and the first thing I noted was that the old entrance had been filled in . I was directed around the side of the building and up a gently sloping wide ramp to another large entrance. There are railings all the way up the ramp for safety and help for mobility . It also prevents a drop onto the old steps too. The new doorway is double glazed sliding doors and leads into a corridor. Situated here too is a disabled toilet 🚾 wheelchair Accessible and fitted with visual impairment handrails too . To my right a large double door leading into the “sunshine” room . It was a very sunny day and the room was bathed with light even with the blinds closed ! Very appropriate name . This was the meeting room today and also in an alcove is a very modern little kitchenette. A good sized meeting room without crazy acoustics !! All floors flat and level and no trip hazards! A real jewel in the crown of the LS16 community . Still work to do outside and the bees 🐝 were busy in the parts that had been cleared and planted .

We ladies met as a group here to knit & crochet, chat & eat & what a lovely space to meet at! The drinks & food were all fabulous, tasty & hot. Extremely good value for money & how friendly were the staff!? We felt like old friends 😃 Perfect! Just perfect!

Lovely little gem of a coffee shop! Didn’t know it was here until someone mentioned it. Cappuccinos divine… Lovely atmosphere. And local grown produce. Highly recommended. Nice service too.

Quirky cafe selling organic vegetables, savoury pastries, brownies to die for and great coffee. There is no sign and it doesn't look like it's high quality, but all the products we've tried have been amazing and the locals all know about this place. It's a little hidden down Weetwood Lane, but definitely worth a trip. Lots of Parking here, but we walked. Staff are super friendly too :)

Amazing coffee and great bakes. We also buy local honey from them. There is no much place to sit but could be perfect for take away or if the weather is good to sit outside.

Edit** visited again (on a Saturday ~10am) and managed to bag the last almond croissant! It was absolutely divine. The filling was perfectly sweet, the exterior was crusty but the middle was soft. So good! Definitely a treat. This is my favourite almond croissant I've had so far in my quest. I tried the iced latte this time as well and that was delicious as well. Partner enjoyed his pan au chocolate. Will definitely be back Came here for an almond croissant, but unfortunately they'd run out by the time we got there (~11am Saturday). Instead we got a regular croissant and some coffee. They have limited outdoor seating, and it was raining so we took everything to-go. The croissant was lovely. I always brace for disappointment when I order an oat latte and it comes in a big latte cup, however this was the first time that I've ordered one like that and the coffee is still nice and strong. Loved the coffee, will be back again some day and hopefully get to try the almond croissant (I'm on a quest to find my favourite one).

Great tea room (but I had latte, and it was smashing) serving selection of cakes, sandwiches, soup etc plus my favourite...flapJack, and it all went down well.

What a find. Lovely friendly welcome Busy when we called in. Just before lunch. Really pretty café in the middle of Addingham. Cappuccino coffee, really nice coffee. Ginger cake moist and sticky definitely recommend. Decorations lots of prints of local places. Great fast service. Will be calling in again.

Even the name, "Ginger Plum", evokes a feeling of good food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. We were in the area for a short break and came across Ginger Plum whilst exploring the village of Addingham, near Ilkley. On a damp, cold day in February and with a well walked dog in tow, we were treated to a warm welcome and a range of superb cakes and drinks you can imagine. Comfortable tables & chairs and a fantastic range of local watercolour paintings that festoon the walls make this a 'must visit' stop if you're anywhere near. Better than the famous and nearby Betty's, and significantly better value.

A lovely place with lovely coffee. The only place where they don’t put sugar in the mocha while they make it, but give you the choice to put it yourself. Brilliant. Food was great as well. Nice Mediterranean feel to it.

Great food, great service. We live close and will definitely be returning! It was also lovely and cosy after walking there in the sludge!

I came here for the Turkish breakfast which I recommend. Nice seating outside which is great when weather is sunny. Decor is very nice with indoor seating if you prefer.

Busy, friendly, comfortable. Good coffee, great service where your custom clearly matters and theres great attentiontodetail in furnishings and decor. Food packed with flavour and nicely presented. Lots of space indoors, a bit of seating outside is a bit too close to the road for me. Parking out back.

Came across this place on Google so had to visit after reading the reviews. We weren't disappointed. Beautiful decor, friendly staff, good menu choices, lovely coffee & food & reasonable prices. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We will definitely come again soon.

We’ve been to Old Coffee Mill several times over the last few months and I think it’s now my favourite local place for food and drink. The coffee and brunch/lunch/cake are all delicious and the service so friendly. The place is super cosy and beautifully decorated, right down to the toilets! You can tell the people running it think about every little detail, even down to how they present a slice of cake on the plate. That might sound silly but it’s definitely a point of difference from any chain. I expect to be coming lots more :)

(Car parking facilities rather vague....) Rather a climb up steep steps to the "loft", but it is warm & welcoming inside. Table & waiter service. Wasn't offered a breakfast menu, so we ordered a cream tea each from the specials board. Quite a popular cafe at 10am. Toilet.

Enjoyed afternoon tea here today, cannot praise the food, staff and surroundings enough. Absolutely beautiful and fresh quality food. Staff were pleasant and so helpful. Would 110% recommend to anyone. Well done everyone, Absolutely perfect 🥰

York Gate is a delightful one-acre Grade II National Heritage Garden created by the Spencer family. It delights with a succession of linked gardens (or "rooms"as they are known) which take their design inspiration from the Arts and Crafts movement and were developed thanks to the horticultural skills of its owner Sybil Spencer and developed between 1951 and 1994. Each individual "room" has its own beauty and interest, with a wealth of plants, shrubs and trees, some immediately recognisable, others much more exotic! There are several water features and unusual structures and stonework, a meadow with beehives plus varied and intricate pathways linking the different "rooms". I was fortunate to visit as part of a National Trust garden volunteer's group and had the benefit of a guided tour given by the affable and knowledgeable Head Gardener, who explained how the garden has evolved and continues to do so. There is also a cafe, shop and plant nursery on the site. It is most definitely worth a visit and cannot fail to impress and inspire!

Visited the garden on 3rd September. Although it only has limited parking we had no problems finding a space. We were greeted at the entrance by a friendly and informative guide who gave us a brief overview of the gardens and amenities. As it was close to lunchtime the first stop was the cafe. This has a large seating both inside and in the garden. The food was good, we both had Paninies which were very good and at a good price. The facilities are spotlessly clean. You can visit the cafe without having to pay entry to the garden. The garden although is only 1 acre the design crams in so many small gardens and walkways it seems so much larger. The planting and hard landscaping is wonderful and is well worth the visit. Price is £7 which is very reasonable and even better is part of the gardeners world 2 for 1 ticket offer. The annual price is also a very cheap option at only .£30. There is also a shop and also plant sales again at reasonable prices. I would highly recommend a visit

Visited here for the first time. What a beautiful garden with plants we've never seen before, a meadow with around 10 beehives, and a lovely cafe. A real gem, we will visit again next year. Cheers guys.

A truly magical gem that surprises and delights. One of the most peaceful and restorative spaces I've had the pleasure to spend time in. This place couldn't fail to bring joy to all who visit. The sheer pleasure of being immersed in such a tranquil space can be seen on the faces of every single volunteer. It's a little escape from the hustle and bustle of life beyond the gate.

Popped in yesterday for 2 little cakes. Absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back for more

Lovely coffee shop, came for a coffee whilst I fed my little baby girl. The ladies were so kind, they brought my tea cake, sat down and buttered it for me then did my jam as I was feeding 🥺

My mum and I visited this gorgeous little cafe in Normanton. If you’re local to the area, it’s a great little spot for some brunch/lunch and the staff are all really friendly too. The menu isn’t huge but offers a good range of different options that are all very reasonably priced. The cafe is quite small inside but we didn’t struggle to find a seat. We visited for breakfast. I ordered the banana on toast which came with peanut butter, maple syrup and blueberries. It was definitely the best banana on toast I’d ever had! Being local to the area, I’m surprised I’ve never been here before, I will certainly be returning!

Amazing venue for a baby shower! The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us all. Beautiful surroundings and decor inside!

Lovely food, & plenty of it. Had a toasted cheese & onion sandwich. It was nicely presented with a side of salad, coleslaw & a few crisps. Oh & a milkshake. We were looked after by Kate who saw to our needs & made us feel very welcomed. Will definitely be back again.

3rd time here today and it was lovely. My wife had a small breakfast and I had a large breakfast, both were very tasty and well presented. Staff are lovely and the cakes are that nice we took some home for afters.....not for the first!! Very clean and nicely decorated Another wonderful visit..... next on the agenda will probably be an afternoon tea. 👍👍👍

Lovely little place. Clean and tidy. The staff are always very friendly. Good menu at reasonable prices. The only possible complaint is that they stop their breakfast menu at 11.30. They can be busy, so booking in is recommended.

Food here is lovely More tables than you would expect looking from the outside This isn't a rush you in rush you out establishment, meals appear to be cooked fresh to order so it can take a little longer then other places But is that such a bad thing Maybe sometimes we need to slow down and just relax a little , Little bakes let's you do that while here

Absolutely outstanding. Called for a breakfast and was blown away. I have to say without any conviction this is the best breakfast I have eaten. Being a builder and sampling many outlets over the years that is a very bold statement so it’s said with real passion and honesty. A nice cosy atmosphere which has the sense of Featherstone’s own hidden little gem only it’s not hidden it’s on the high street. Great old fashioned environment coupled with real home cooked food means this place deserves a 10/10. Thank you. Be very proud and hold your heads high. 👏👏👏
