You’ll really enjoy having you favorite coffee drink on the comfortable couches, chairs or sitting at the little tables in Fausto’s Coffee, the little cafe located in the Sowerby Bros Cycles shop. The lattes and cappuccinos are excellent. Jayne serves them up with a smile. Being from out of town (California), we enjoyed that locals chatted with us while we all enjoyed our coffees. I wish we’d tried one of the cakes as others seem to have really enjoyed them.

Been here several times before and always enjoyed the food and wide range of menu choices. I have to say the seafood paella was delicious today. Really good to see a group of ladies in having bottomless brunch. The place had a great atmosphere and it was busy, but chilled. The staff here are always really friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to the special events coming up.

The food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The owner is incredibly welcoming and friendly, making conversation easy and enjoyable. The cafe has undergone renovations since the previous establishment, and the interior is now truly inviting. Additionally, they have a designated dog-friendly area, which is a fantastic touch for pet owners. And for those with a sweet tooth, there's even an afternoon tea area! But let's get to the real star of the show: the bacon sandwich. It was absolutely scrumptious! The bacon itself was sourced from a local farm shop, and its quality truly shone through. The flavors were rich and satisfying, and the presentation was spot-on. Knowing the meat comes from a local farm adds another layer of appreciation, supporting sustainable practices and fresh ingredients. Overall, this cafe is a gem. With its delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and thoughtful amenities, it's definitely worth checking out!

I want to say a massive thankyou to the staff for hosting my sons birthday breakfast. We couldn't have asked for more, the service was outstanding and the staff went the extra mile, from allowing him to have his age as a table number, providing candles for his cake when we'd forgotten ours, lighting the candles and bringing the cake for us to sing happy birthday and providing a knife and paper bags to take it home in. The food was lovely and well priced, it cost us less than it usually would for 12 people to eat breakfast out. We are planning on making it our birthday Tradotion! Thankyou ❤️

Absolutely amazing afternoon tea here for my husband's birthday. Honestly, so much incredible and delicious food that we had to have some of it bagged up to take home. The decorations around the area are so beautiful and cute. You feel like you're in a very special tea room. Everyone was helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend.

Qream Teas; what can I say? When Tommy arrived in Mirfield he brought with him the most fantastic atmosphere, the most wonderful cake, brownie and sandwich recipes, and an air of positivity and humour that was like a breath of fresh air. It's pretty much impossible to be disappointed by anything on offer here. The savoury offerings are made to a high standard, in terms of flavour and presentation. The cakes are divine, but the selection of brownies on offer will. Change. Your. Life. Seriously. Check it out. There's is also a lovely deli area, with a great selection of interesting items on offer If you really want an extra special time, ring and book the 'afternoon tea' high tea experience, you will NOT be disappointed.

Lovely little cafe, excellent home made food and the cakes are to die for! The staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable. Go on, treat yourself! Update: these lovely ladies do outside catering and make cakes for special occasions, like the one that they made for my daughters wedding! Very highly recommended. ** Update ** These lovely ladies have remained open during much of the lockdown doing takeaways only due to the space inside the Coffee Lounge. Please do not be put off by this. The takeaway food is just as good as when you eat in. The paninis are simply delicious and if you drop lucky and they have their sausage plait on offer when you visit jump at the chance, it is a rare treat. I urge you to pop in and grab some takeaway food from the Mardy Crumb and support our local businesses during these difficult times. You will not regret it. *** Update*** Still as good as ever and the staff are wonderful. Just been in and ordered my Christmas goodies, boozy Christmas loaf and a sausage plait - they'll be lovely, looking forward to then already. While in there couldn't resist a couple of success of their Tiffin!

Taylors Cafe

P: 01924 489181

Rating: 4.8 (66) Price Level:

It was a great local cafe. The menu was extensive but we just wanted their delicious carrot cake. The latte was large and hot. I hate it when drinks are like warm but no such issues here. We had the window seat so watched the world go by. It's a shame the loo isn't currently available but the cafe is clean, cleaning constantly happening, clear rules signposted and super friendly staff. I had to rate 5 stars because I would return and I would recommend it as a great place for a light bite. Well done. I rarely give out 5 stars.

First time visit to Strada and it was absolutely EPIC!. We had the Strada Breakfast and Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich with Fresh Juice and Strada Latte. The main man know exactly what he's doing and is such a lovely pleasant man as is the staff. The ingredients are fresh and genuine, the cooking is perfect and the overall enjoyment is just simply beautiful. The atmosphere is homely which is a bonus. Take a trip to Strada and simply enjoy unique foods and excellent service which is something we dont see often. Highly recommend the philly cheese steak (the meat is on a different level). Many thanks to all, see you again.

Heard about this place through a friend. Paid a visit today for brunch. Absolutely amazing food, made in house and you can tell by how fresh and amazing it is. Would recommend the Nutella latte not sure how they made it but it’s the best thing ever. Can’t wait to sample the whole menu, will definitely be back again. Staff were very friendly. The owner was very helpful with suggesting options and had a good conversation. Really nice atmosphere too, cosy and calm. Free parking at the back too. Will definitely be back!

We ordered Strada special large breakfast, large French toast with a kids meal and a milky chai latte. Their breakfast definitely has a special touch. The sausage is very nice, a hand made taste, not the standard sausages you find in other cafes. The diced potatoes are very tasty and the eggs had some green seasoning ontop which was really tasty. I like the uniqueness of the breakfast it’s not a standard full English it’s definitely got a special touch. Got to give credit to the owner, never seen a cafe where the owner himself makes sure your food is good and comes to speak to you.

Amazing food and great coffee, I’d honestly say one of the best brunches/lunchs I’ve had. You can tell the owner is passionate about the food and this really comes through. I had the ultimate philly cheesesteak, nicely spiced beef and cheese, potatoes were perfect and the sauces were amazing. My wife had the South African Breakfast, the sausages were delicious and unique definitely a must try!

Firstly, the food was great, I had Shakshuka, which was delicious and my friends were happy with their breakfasts. The waitress was friendly, but got two of the drinks wrong and. Y friends decided not to question it, but I'm sure they would have been replaced. Reasonable value, we still felt like giving a tip and we would return again.

First time visiting, for me, but will definitely go back. Lovely staff. We really enjoyed our food. Lovely place. The only thing that would be nice is a smaller portion option lol. My daughter and myself were with my Mum, she's 87, doesn't have a huge appetite but she fancied a jacket potato. It was huge! She chose cheese and bean filling it was really nicely presented but far too big for her. Maybe a pensioner/ smaller portion would be good. My mum was sorry to waste it. (She's of the era of not wanting to waste her food). I had a tuna melt on sourdough. Lovely. My daughter had a hot beef baguette which looked amazing. We also had a portion of chips to share. It was really nice. Coffees as well. Lovely, Thank you.

Slightly unusual place, doubling-up as a coffee shop during the daytime and a bar in the evening. Came here for a mid-morning snack, however, and was pleasantly surprised. The inside of the cafe was nice, with music playing at a comfortable level. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the cake was delicious. I had to try their sausage roll and cheese twist, which both came with a choice of chutney. My wife tried some of my cheese twist and had to get her own. I then tried a cross between a croissant and a muffin. It looked like it was only filled halfway, but it was actually filled all the way to the bottom and was very heavy. It was so good! The coffee was also one of the nicest I've ever had.
