Thoroughly enjoyed a delightful lunch at The Hidden Tearooms. Very quaint with a delicious choice on the menu. The cakes looked amazing. Unfortunately, time ran out to indulge, next time 🍰. Friendly service. Our food arrived quickly and was beautifully presented. The tearoom itself is very clean and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly with sausages on the menu 🐶

What a marvelous place. Real warm welcoming atmosphere. Food was excellent. Staff were really attentive and caring of your needs. Looking forward to going again.

Pleasant afternoon tea with a small group. Staff are polite and and attentive, while not being in your face. We nearly didn't find it, as it is, as the name suggests, hidden. Better signage would be helpful.

Our great commutity shop 😁 we liked there, prices for fruit and veg 20p, bread 20p 👍, so that amazing. Yes you have to be a member of the community shops. And also better go there in the morning about 8.30 because later everything will be gone. ❤️❤️❤️

Really good shop and centre. Great frindly, helpful staff. You need to register as being eligible to use the shop but staff member will guide you. Prices and choice of products both fresh, tinned, frozen and packaged are really good. Toiletries and household products are here too. Thank you to everyone involved in this project. Amazing.

Delicious, substantial butties (I had sausage and egg, my wife a bacon buttie) at good prices and friendly service. Nice little area outside where you can eat. A perfect start to the day before a long drive back to London!

We pulled into a large parking area after seeing the signage at the side of the road.. The 2 staff were outside sat at a table enjoying the break between rushes.. The place was clean and tidy... Prices and menus were presented well and no hidden extras.. After ordering 2 full breakfasts we sat inside ( outside spaces are available) the food was cooked fresh so was piping hot when served.. The food was of high quality and good portion sizes... very reasonable price for the quality of the product unlike most other small businesses in local area .... The staff were friendly and talkative and willing to help with information and directions.. Was a good experience and would highly recommend to others .. will definitely go back when in the area.. THANK YOU...

THE BEST Thai I’ve EVER been to! We go almost every week me and my family we love it that much! The starters are gorgeous, chicken satay, spring rolls, ribs, prawns are our favourites. I love the pad Thai with sticky rice! Support small businesses and try this Thai- authentic Thai food at a great price!

Our 1st visit to the monthly buffet. OMG what a wide range of delicious dishes. From fragrant to hot ! Lovely presentation and all hot and fresh ! The carved fresh fruit was an added treat. Absolutely fantastic value and we will be back.

The food & service are simply 1st class. We love our Thai food & I can state that you would be hard pushed to find better anywhere.

Came here with my partner for dinner and was one of the best meals we have had in a very long time, can’t recommend it enough ! Staff were very polite and helpful and the food didn’t take long at all. Definitely going to be regular customers.

A great family run cafe / sarnie shop , I've been going years and can honestly say it's value for money. Staff are lovely too. Its a no frills honest breakfast very reasonably priced.

Went for food for a family finger party of 8 and everything was amazing. The place as a whole looks nice, friendly staff were patient and helpful, food was all great, amazing portions, presentation was beautiful. Afterwards we got warmed wipes for our hands/face as well as small complimentary chocolates that came with the bill. Overall a great experience, would definitely come here again and would recommend to others. £130 for 8 people is great for the experience we had.

What a nice restaurant, came here passing through between jobs after reading the reviews and we loved it. The food was so tasty and so much of it we couldn't finish it all. Shame we didn't know it was a BYOB as we never had any alcohol with us but enjoyed our Pepsi's anyway. All the staff were professional and chatty and even had a nice chat with one before we left. I definitely recommend it and I will be back !

I have never dined in the restaurant only takeaway or delivery. Never had an issue, the food has always been great quality and delivered on time. Since all the takeaways around Knottingley now charge restaurant prices for takeaway quality I doubt I will go anywhere else for curries.

WHY ISNT THIS PLACE PACKED 24/7??? Ordered a meal for myself and my husband this evening for collection and we were absolutely blown away with the quality of the food!!! We had the meal deal for two which was a steal at £24. First impressions on opening the box was outstanding. Such care was obviously taken when packaging the meals. Perfectly cooked chicken pakoras and a succulent, juicy mixed starter were stunning to say the least. A sublime chicken tikka masala and chicken jalfrezi followed, consisting of perfectly tender chunks of chicken breast amongst expertly seasoned sauces. Jalfrezi could have done with a touch more salt and my husband felt the masala sauce was a little on the hot side for him, but these are all personal preferences. Chipatis... Soft ... Tender... Melted in the mouth. Pilau rice... Expertly cooked with a slight hint of spice. Mixed pickle tray was heavenly and complimented the meal perfectly. Would definitely recommend and will not go anywhere else for my Indian fix from now on. Atmosphere rated at a 4 as it was a takeaway order and we didn't sit in the restaurant, although the decor and attentiveness of the team was excellent. 10/10 Leigh and Simon Capel-Sutcliffe.

Me and my mum always visit this cafe maybe once a week. Food is delicious every time and served with a smile. The last visit on 28/08/2024 I noticed some dipping boxes in the chiller, I bought the biscoff brownies. Oh my days!!!! Absolutely to die for! The nicest brownie me and my family have ever tasted!!! Well done ladies!!! Love to you all x

Great cafe, with very good food, clean establishment and friendly staff. Prices very reasonable. Very keen to support independents and a great choice we made for breakfasts this morning.
