A delightful independent coffee shop with charm. As well as serving up great coffees, this place had a fantastic selection of Greek sweet and savoury foods, all locally produced and super tasty. The guys behind the counter were welcoming and took the time to explain the different food available. An authentic coffee shop with bags of character. Well worth a visit if you are wondering through Guildford

This is the only cafe I go to during the week. It’s not too far from my office but if it was closer, I would be getting coffee in the afternoon too. Staff work so hard here and I really love the food. Traditional pastries, savoury and sweet but also fresh paninis if I don’t fancy a pastry. I put a 4 star for food, not because of quality, but because I think salads would be a nice addition to the menu. No where in Guildford does it so it could be a big win! Wouldn’t even have to be hugely gourmet ones. And maybe smaller pieces of bougatsa as an option too next to large portions like the kataifi but that’s a minor thing. Thank you for all the nice convos while waiting for food and making everyone feel so welcome. If the food wasn’t so good I might’ve had time to take more photos. A lovely, hellenic (Greek) café in the heart of Guildford! Dimitris and Nikos are so friendly, kind and treat you like their friend! I ordered a fresco espresso, which is actually what is called FREDDO ESPRESSO, in Hellas (Greece). Tasteful! They also offered me two pieces of greek bougatsa🇬🇷❤️ In store, you can find many traditional products like "petit four", "bougatsa", cakes, etc, but also ice cream for dogs! 🐕 Totally recommend it! One of the best cafe. Such a great service. I been given full info about what sort of cold cafe they do, how they do etc. On the top I have tasted some traditional Greek pastries. Yummy. Truly recommend this place. The service make it most and the café...top. Just to add - popped in 05.11... disappointed

Not being from the area, I asked a local where is best to go as I had a few hours to kill. They pointed me in the direction of Mullins. I was greeting by great customer service and even better food, iced coffee which was perfect and you can tell they do put a lot of care into their food and their relationships with customers. Whilst sitting here there were people coming in just to say hi to the staff! Great atmosphere and if you are travelling through Dorking, it’s definitely worth to stop.

Love how much history is packed into this little coffee shop. The staff was so friendly and happy to have so many people in their cafe. Quick service and the food was delicious. Many veggie and vegan options for food. Indoor and some outdoor seating. They give you a delicious piece of ginger cake with your hot drink it was very tasty.

Heartwork Coffee Bar in Dorking was a delightful surprise! Found by accident, it quickly became a favorite. The coffee is excellent—smooth, rich, and expertly brewed. The outdoor chill area is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your drink. The bacon rolls are delicious, perfectly crispy and satisfying. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, making it a great place to unwind. Highly recommend if you're in Dorking and looking for great coffee and a laid-back atmosphere!

Lovely setting, very friendly staff, good food and great coffee. Dog friendly with lots of fresh water on tap. Very welcome after a long walk! Only downside is lack of toilet facilities.

Great coffee stop which I’ve been visiting for years on my bike. Upgraded from the original trailer serving very good coffee and snacks. Fantastic flapjacks. Nice atmosphere with other cyclists (both kinds😀) and walkers. No toilet though!

Cute little caffe in near walking paths. Can be busy, but even when busy the cue disappears quickly. Staff are nice, and serves sandwiches and toasties that go down well on a day out

The food was very delicious, the setting is pleasant and the seats are very comfortable. The service was very friendly, described all the meals well but unfortunately they were rather slow, it took several courses until we got to order wine, another wait was for the bill. In a casual restaurant we would not mind but when paying £400+ for the meal for two, we would expect much more.

I think Sorrel is one of the best restaurant I ever visit in Surrey Area , here is in UK since 9 years I live in this country. I am always amaze how the chefs are preparing this finest food by seeing the presentation with perfect real délice. We was 6 of us, and all my friends enjoying the food, from beginning till end of Degustation menu which the only one choice , and it was perfect, also the Wine list a lots of choice. Love the ambiance of the restaurant , so cosy and relax old house . And the service was also correct , so after all just perfect fine dinning restaurant in Surrey area. I am glad and happy as all my friends they like it and keep thanking me by introducing this place. Sure and certainly I’ll be back again before I left this country. Highly recommended for those who knows the real fine dinning restaurant with high quality food.

The most stunning experience and unbelievable combination of flavours, textures and science. Everything from the vibe, food and wine pairing were perfect. Steve is a humble genius and its reflective in everything he does and the vibe he’s created.

Fantastic culinary experience at Sorrel on Thursday evening! Had the taster menu with wine flight and it was an incredible treat, very clever indeed! Even got invited to look in the kitchen, looking to return in summer! For me the dishes that stood out the most were the scallop, barbecued quail, supplementary cheese course and the blackberry waldorf dessert.

Good quality and delicious cakes, affordable prices. Shoutout for the I guess manager/owner who despite the obviously challenging Monday with new staff still managing to deliver great customer service, which in situations like this are difficult

A great place to have a treat breakfast on a Sunday morning! We had a veggie breakfast and a mini breakfast. The 'mini' is pretty substantial. Good table service, and a nice busy atmosphere. A repeat visit was even better! Really consistent good service.

We love this place. A hybrid of service (counter, table &/or both) which never disappoints; they’re quietly attentive. The ingredients are expensive, the portions are generous & the prices are very reasonable. Coffee is exceptional. We just love it all.

A good church/charity run cafe, where profits are used for good causes. Pay it forward enables you to buy someone deserving a mesl and drink.

They have a lot of gluten free options and they all look and sound good! Had the cake and Brie and fig (both gluten free) and it was super tasty!

Great cafe inside the New House art space. Lots of drink choices and a good selection of pastries/cakes. Relaxed vibes inside, plenty of seating, natural light and the music isn’t too loud. Close to the town centre and the station and would be a great place to do a bit of work, write an essay etc. Looking forward to visiting again!

Good vibes, amazing style/architecture/theme, good music, quiet so it's perfect for people who would like to go and do some work on their laptops and get some fresh air and a tasty cuppa. Good selection of beverages and pastry to enjoy with. It's a little cozy corner of tranquility. Unless I am around and start chatting or ranting about life. Enjoy your time there!!!

Great coffee with a really nice art vibe. Whether you want a good local coffeehouse, or a fellow creative looking for some downtime and inspiration. Forget big chains, come here instead, so much better.

Great place to go for breakfast, then followed by a nice walk along the amazing wetlands! Parking is great and free. There is loads of room outside including awesome outdoor pods which we used last time. The food is really nice and priced fairly. My personal tip is to arrive just after it opens, or around 9:30 - it’s not very busy then, and has a brilliant atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly too.

Great atmosphere and food. Good portions and reasonable price. However waitering service could be improved. Used cutlery and plates from previous customers were not cleared before we sat down in the cabin. We had to ask for someone to clear it when we were served our food despite waiters being available to clear it. Cutlery was not provided with the food, so I had to get it myself. The station nearest to us was not kept full, I had to ask for the manager for cutlery and to top it up. Tip for improvement: Waiters to clear tables more efficiently by prioritising tables people are sat at before clearing empty tables.

Brilliant place. Well set out. Very dog friendly. Great staff, great food. It has everything you need even a dog washing station and ice-cream. My dog had a venison chew supplied by them. Ate it so fast only managed to get her picking her lips at the end.

We came here for lunch after a walk around Horsell common. My parents have been here multiple times, but this was my first visit and I will definitely be returning. I have coeliac disease, but they advised that the allergens could be found online and that they had gluten free bread and buns to substitute. They also confirmed the chips are fried separate so are safe to eat. Food was delicious and reasonably priced, plenty of choice. They also have a dog menu, which is a nice touch.
