A group of us popped in today and we were very impressed by the friendliness and customer service. Coffee and cakes were good. Nice sense of community in this place. Will definitely return. Thanks.

Best cafe/stop in Guildford. Wonderful volunteers, great service, lovely drinks and cakes, great for kids and working for a couple of hours too.

A good church/charity run cafe, where profits are used for good causes. Pay it forward enables you to buy someone deserving a mesl and drink.

This is the only cafe I go to during the week. It’s not too far from my office but if it was closer, I would be getting coffee in the afternoon too. Staff work so hard here and I really love the food. Traditional pastries, savoury and sweet but also fresh paninis if I don’t fancy a pastry. I put a 4 star for food, not because of quality, but because I think salads would be a nice addition to the menu. No where in Guildford does it so it could be a big win! Wouldn’t even have to be hugely gourmet ones. And maybe smaller pieces of bougatsa as an option too next to large portions like the kataifi but that’s a minor thing. Thank you for all the nice convos while waiting for food and making everyone feel so welcome. If the food wasn’t so good I might’ve had time to take more photos. Also let me use my travel mugs :) Efcharisto!

One of the best cafe. Such a great service. I been given full info about what sort of cold cafe they do, how they do etc. On the top I have tasted some traditional Greek pastries. Yummy. Truly recommend this place. The service make it most and the café...top. Just to add - popped in 05.11... disappointed

A delightful independent coffee shop with charm. As well as serving up great coffees, this place had a fantastic selection of Greek sweet and savoury foods, all locally produced and super tasty. The guys behind the counter were welcoming and took the time to explain the different food available. An authentic coffee shop with bags of character. A lovely, hellenic (Greek) café in the heart of Guildford! Dimitris and Nikos are so friendly, kind and treat you like their friend! I ordered a fresco espresso, which is actually what is called FREDDO ESPRESSO, in Hellas (Greece). Tasteful! They also offered me two pieces of greek bougatsa🇬🇷❤️ In store, you can find many traditional products like "petit four", "bougatsa", cakes, etc, but also ice cream for dogs! 🐕 Totally recommend it! Love how much history is packed into this little coffee shop. The staff was so friendly and happy to have so many people in their cafe. Quick service and the food was delicious. Many veggie and vegan options for food. Indoor and some outdoor seating. They give you a delicious piece of ginger cake with your hot drink it was very tasty.

I am totally in love with this place. We were there for breakfast around 9 AM in the morning and we were their first customer ☺️. Such warm staff, they served us really well. They come and ask you if everything is ok, if you like your food or not, If you want anything specific with your food. They have preserved their place really well and written everything about the story of how this place has started.

Great cafe inside the New House art space. Lots of drink choices and a good selection of pastries/cakes. Relaxed vibes inside, plenty of seating, natural light and the music isn’t too loud. Close to the town centre and the station and would be a great place to do a bit of work, write an essay etc. Looking forward to visiting again!

Great coffee with a really nice art vibe. Whether you want a good local coffeehouse, or a fellow creative looking for some downtime and inspiration. Forget big chains, come here instead, so much better.

Good vibes, amazing style/architecture/theme, good music, quiet so it's perfect for people who would like to go and do some work on their laptops and get some fresh air and a tasty cuppa. Good selection of beverages and pastry to enjoy with. It's a little cozy corner of tranquility. Unless I am around and start chatting or ranting about life. Enjoy your time there!!!

A great place to drink delicious coffee and hang out surrounded by art. My favourite coffee spot in Guildford, very much worth a visit! The staff are super friendly and it’s a lovely atmosphere to either do some work or hang out with friends.

Not being from the area, I asked a local where is best to go as I had a few hours to kill. They pointed me in the direction of Mullins. I was greeting by great customer service and even better food, iced coffee which was perfect and you can tell they do put a lot of care into their food and their relationships with customers. Whilst sitting here there were people coming in just to say hi to the staff! Great atmosphere and if you are travelling through Dorking, it’s definitely worth to stop.

This is like the best place to unwind, chill, and get authentic coffee (or tea)! Fell in love with this place the minute I stepped in. The rustic atmosphere makes it look like a second home for me! ❤

The food was very delicious, the setting is pleasant and the seats are very comfortable. The service was very friendly, described all the meals well but unfortunately they were rather slow, it took several courses until we got to order wine, another wait was for the bill. In a casual restaurant we would not mind but when paying £400+ for the meal for two, we would expect much more.

The most stunning experience and unbelievable combination of flavours, textures and science. Everything from the vibe, food and wine pairing were perfect. Steve is a humble genius and its reflective in everything he does and the vibe he’s created.

Fantastic culinary experience at Sorrel on Thursday evening! Had the taster menu with wine flight and it was an incredible treat, very clever indeed! Even got invited to look in the kitchen, looking to return in summer! For me the dishes that stood out the most were the scallop, barbecued quail, supplementary cheese course and the blackberry waldorf dessert.

I think Sorrel is one of the best restaurant I ever visit in Surrey Area , here is in UK since 9 years I live in this country. I am always amaze how the chefs are preparing this finest food by seeing the presentation with perfect real délice. We was 6 of us, and all my friends enjoying the food, from beginning till end of Degustation menu which the only one choice , and it was perfect, also the Wine list a lots of choice. Love the ambiance of the restaurant , so cosy and relax old house . And the service was also correct , so after all just perfect fine dinning restaurant in Surrey area. I am glad and happy as all my friends they like it and keep thanking me by introducing this place. Sure and certainly I’ll be back again before I left this country. Highly recommended for those who knows the real fine dinning restaurant with high quality food.

Great coffee stop which I’ve been visiting for years on my bike. Upgraded from the original trailer serving very good coffee and snacks. Fantastic flapjacks. Nice atmosphere with other cyclists (both kinds😀) and walkers. No toilet though!

No better place to stop for a coffee and a treat while out on a bike ride or walk (or drive). A beautiful setting, the friendliest service and the best coffee for miles! This goes for the Holmbury location as well as the new spot at Knowle Park 👌🏻

Heartwork Coffee Bar in Dorking was a delightful surprise! Found by accident, it quickly became a favorite. The coffee is excellent—smooth, rich, and expertly brewed. The outdoor chill area is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your drink. The bacon rolls are delicious, perfectly crispy and satisfying. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, making it a great place to unwind. Highly recommend if you're in Dorking and looking for great coffee and a laid-back atmosphere!

Cute little caffe in near walking paths. Can be busy, but even when busy the cue disappears quickly. Staff are nice, and serves sandwiches and toasties that go down well on a day out

A great place to have a treat breakfast on a Sunday morning! We had a veggie breakfast and a mini breakfast. The 'mini' is pretty substantial. Good table service, and a nice busy atmosphere. A repeat visit was even better! Really consistent good service.

So staying in Guildford for a few days. I wanted to try something different other than McDonald's or your standard chain. I found this after searching Google with great reviews, I knew I was expecting high things. Walking in it's a great atmosphere. I order the breakfast baguette with chips. I didn't have to wait too long and the portion size was great and not to much and not too little. There is an outside area with a roof to cover from rain etc. Also, the inside is nice and very well decorated. There is one toilet and it also has baby changing facilities. Overall, I really recommend and worth having a trip too, maybe a short walk from town but well worth it. If I'm back in Guildford, I'll be back.

Lovely decor in this place, bright and fresh. Friendly and polite service. Food was lovely, nice cup of tea as well.

A specialty cafe with a healthy menu, calming décor, wood tables, local merchandise, smiles of the servers. My sausage sarnie came with red onions in it of which its sweetness went well with the pork, the sourdough freshly moist, the meat freshly juicy. My wife's avocado on toast was wholesome but the avocado was cut in halves though garnished with red pepper. I would prefer it being smashed and seasoned.

Lovely small cafe, quite busy often find there's not enough seating to the amount of customers. However the food standards are brilliant 👏 the staff are welcoming and friendly. Recommended for a nice cuppa and breakfast if you get a chance.
