Although I've given them five stars for food, I didn't eat there and didn't know what else to put .That said, the smell when I walked in the door did smell very nice and the place was rammed which is always a good sign. I had a latte and my sister had a flat white, both very lovely and deceptively strong as I found out when the caffeine hit me about 15 minutes later. Run and owned by a properly lovely Italian nonna. Served by an equally lovely nonno. Efficient and friendly service. Very reasonable prices too. Highly recommended.

Food quality is good and reasonably priced. Service is polite but not particularly friendly. The guy that works there is friendly, but the waitresses don't say hello, and when bringing your food they walk over put your things on the table and walk away pretty much without saying a word. Leaves me feeling like an inconvenience every single time.

The Olive Branch was very clean. The staff were polite & friendly. The food was really nice. I would highly recommend the Olive Branch

I had this avocado and egg sandwich and it tastes absolutely brilliant. I must say its standard is beyond many 4/5 stars hotel. The fact that the portion is quite small and it takes quite a long while for the lady to prepare it haven’t stopped me from giving this cafe a 5 out of 5 rating👍🏻👍🏻

Highly recommend this cafe. Perfect stop after a lovely dog walk around the park. Homemade cakes are delicious and the owners lemon drizzle cake is the best I’ve ever had, you have to try it ! Love this cafe as does my dog 🐶 and also has a great area outside too to sit on a nice day 🌞

I love coming to the cafe. Yummy food (the BLT is amazing!) and fantastic cakes, with a pretty view. My husband especially loves it as there's often gluten free cake options. I use the events room aswell which is just beautiful with twinkly lights. We've come for a Mothers Day afternoon tea in the past and other dietry requirements were also knowledgeably taken into consideration. The staff are friendly and chatty, a great place to go!

Lovely little café in the park with view of the playground. Very friendly staff who happily and readily accommodated our picky eaters breakfast request (Scrambled egg on toast, no add-ons). The food was delicious and the outside seating just right (some deck chairs as well as benches with tables).

Took a walk from Succumbs Place down to the cafe for the first time. Situated in a lovely location! A really good choice of hot & cold food. Home made cakes, will try next time😉 lots of hot & cold drinks .Very friendly atmosphere, good service. A great place for mums with little ones as well as a stop gap for walkers🫠 We would recommend the breakfast sandwiches 👍🏼 J & E

Lovely place to grab a coffee or bite to eat while in the park. The park is lovely, plenty of space to walk a dog or take a stroll.

Best coffee in Croydon. Food is incredible too. Chicken bacon panini is so good. Breakfast is top notch....poached eggs and avocado before 12😋

We stop by almost every week while my son is at kung fu. Pamela and her staff have become part of the family. So welcoming and friendly. The coffee, breakfast, paninis and cakes are great too and very reasonably priced!

Very nice menu with good build your own options. Ordered village breakfast. It’s generous in portion size with lots of food items built to make a well stacked Full English. Toast was very tasty, crusty bread. It tasted great. Service was good and fast. I would return again. Edit 6/5/2023: Returned after 6 years and ordered No. 4 breakfast with black pudding (pictured). Still Delicious and excellent service.

We’ve been coming to Village cafe for over 2 and half years and every single time the food and service has been perfect. The portion sizes are huge and there is such a variety of food on the menu, the staff are lovely and the owner is incredibly attentive. 10/10 every single time.

Stopped in here for the first time for a quick bite for lunch. Service was great, friendly, attentive & fast. Our food came quite quickly & was pretty good. We found the prices reasonable & it was busy which can only be a good sign. Only thing I wasn't keen on was the sauce bottles on the tables having the tops removed for no apparent reason.

Nicest bread and toast ever! Lovely staff, very friendly and welcoming. Food was great value for money and came quickly. If I lived near here it would be my local. Definitely recommend 10/19

fab place. come here for 20years i think. since it opened. yes, it is more expensive than your local normal ‘CAFES’ and the reason is they use quality ingredients. Wait till you taste the Quality of the bacon sausages mushrooms etc.

Really enjoyed this place for breakfast before heading to Surrey National for golf. Good parking, very clean inside, nice staff, nice environment, food was decent.

Absolutely delicious food every time. Service is friendly and quick. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a great fry up or cooked breakfast or lunch. Remember to bring cash as cards are not accepted.

We decided to stop by this place on the way back home and oh my god I’m so glad we did! The two ladies working there were so welcoming and fun to have a chat to as soon as you walk in. The place looks so beautiful and it is really clear what they offer. They also helped me decide on what to have as I always have trouble deciding. We went for a raspberry milkshake and cherry Bakewell milkshake. They were amazing and not too rich at all. Will definitely be back again. Cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you again to the ladies working tonight you made my night with how nice you both were!

I recently drove past this place and saw a huge queue going out the shop after which I made a mental note to visit this place soon. Quite unforgettable when you see its extremely pink exterior! Luckily I got the opportunity to visit here with the family an hour or so before they closed. Inside the place is just as pink as the outside but decorated very well. A small shop but the right size for a dessert shop given its location. There were already quite a few people sitting down but there was space for the six of us. We sat down and there were menus already on the tables. A large variety of different ice creams and dessert options greeted us and we decided to take only sample the ice creams on this occasion. (We had just had a big dinner so didn't want to overdo it!) I went up to the desk and the lovely young lady greeted me with a smile and I ordered our ice creams. I was undecided on what to have for myself and asked for a recommendation. The lady asked me a few questions regarding allergies and types of flavours and eventually recommended the millionaire something or other (sorry can't remember the full name!). A few minutes later the ice creams were ready and quite honestly, they were amazing! Good scoop sizes, well presented, quick service and of course they tasted absolutely phenomenal. Was really impressed with everything and will be going back soon!

Customer service was fabulous, and the choice of desserts is all you could want. As for the ice cream - delicious! I can't wait to go back. Lots of vegan options too!

The most beautiful shop I’ve ever seen. The staff were so lovely and friendly and as for the Oreo cookie dough…. Wow!!! I can’t wait to go back and get it again! X
