Excellent food options, lot of variety. Traditional English breakfasts and other lovely options. Plus the owner is a great guy which makes it even better!

Working locally and spotted this Cafe, I’m over the moon with the service and quality of the food! Will definitely be back for my breakfast

Came to this cafe once before on the way to work and it was genuinely the best breakfast I’ve had! The staff were really nice and welcoming and the food was incredible! Will definitely be returning!

Chicken tikka naan wrap £7 I have to admit I don't spend much time lurking around the industrial estates of Leatherhead. But I had to drop my car off to get the tyres done. It's an exciting life. I noticed a new cafe has opened along the main road to Tesco. Athi's Cafe looked promising so I gave it a go. And I'm glad I did fellow gourmands. It's warm and inviting inside (literally and metaphorically). Breakfast and lunch are on offer with a daily special (burger today). They specialise in naan wraps which I couldn't resist. This little lot cost we all of £7 and was delicious. Crisp, fresh salad with flavourful tikka. And topped off with fries too! Highly recommended.

I met friends there on Monday and it was so lovely. The gentleman was so patient and friendly. The sandwiches were huge and so tasty best I've had. We also had cake and the choice was hard to make as they all looked so good. Choice made and they didn't disappoint. I would highly recommend here!

Nice cafe. Really nice crockery especially the teapots that fit in the cups. We only had tea and some little chocolate truffles as we had already eaten. Shall return another time for breakfast.

Cozy and relaxed café, ideal for breakfast or brunch. The food is excellent and definitely worth a visit. We’ve been there several times already and will surely stop by again during our next vacation.

Delicious hot food and cakes, great coffee, but best of all- super friendly; just what you need before your morning commute! On occasion they also have gluten free cake- the polenta lemon and pistachio cake was amazing!

First time ever in Oxshott. Got a coffee from the stand and was greeted by the loveliest of people. Smiles and casual/ polite conversation. These people deserve your business! Thanks guys.

Highly recommended. Really nice coffee and choice of pastries. Service is always amazing, perfect for quick coffee for the train, or to stop at when walking on Oxshott Heath.

I love Lucio's Coffee&Deli the Coffee beverage is amazing as is the Food and the pastry. Absolutely lovely and highly recommended to stop by here and grab a coffee or a nice pastry . The staff is absolutely lovely and so Friendly always in a good spirit. If you don't stop by here, you're missing out! 😉

Go here for terrific full breakfasts, simple but finely made panini(s), comfort soups and quality bread. And as their name suggests, the coffee was an absolute belter. The pastries and cakes looked appealing too, though we didn't order any. The staff were friendly despite what was clearly the rush hour (non-stop crowd on a Sunday afternoon ~1pm).

What a wonderful hidden gem in Leatherhead! Was going to Costa, but was disappointed at the selection, so went on a wonderful and discovered Lucio's. My, I have never had a better hot chocolate in my life. And the muffins? To die for! I loved the atmosphere, even the style of the plates that the food came on! The service was wonderful, and it was a beautiful place to have a nice refill on a soggy day! Thanks for a lovely refreshment x

Great food, drinks, and atmosphere at Lucio’s. The coffee was really excellent. Toasted sandwiches were very tasty too - we had the chicken Milanese and mozzarella and pesto. The interior is stylish and modern. I ended up buying some of the coffee beans they had in store which I’m really looking forward to trying. There’s a great selection of pastries and sweet treats. We are from London but if we were in the area again we would definitely pay another visit :)

Sat in the Autumn sunshine, enjoying a panini granita square, and very good black coffee. WHAT A DISCOVERY! Can't praise the friendly staff too highly. If only we had reasons to be here for the breakfasts

From the second you walk in until the second you leave you feel like you are home away from home. The staff who are mainly volunteers I might add are all lovely and friendly and the manageress (RACHAEL) is an absolute breath of fresh air, always has a smile on her face and always willing to try and make your stay as good an experience as she and her team possibly can. There isn't a massive selection of food , but what they do have is beautifully cooked and made and presented in a very clean and professional manner . All the food is freshly prepared and the coffee is awesome. The decor of the Cafe is very cosy and comfortable and also very bright and airey which allows you to just relax . The seating is of a very high standard and the Cafe is also situated next to a park so you can make a day or afternoon of it if you have children etc etc. I can't recommend this place enough, and I'm in there most days lol. Had my first affogato! Lovely staff and fantastic homemade cakes and muffins. The coffee is excellent too. Can recommend the iced drinks (iced coffee, smoothies and milkshakes) in the hot summer which are very affordable

Excellent specialty coffee, wonderful home made cakes and pastries, and personable service. All made better by being significantly cheaper than everything else within miles. A needed addition to the village and their average 5.0 rating is well earned.

Opening weekend, staff very friendly and good coffee. Not a push button machine and it is clear they have actually done barista training. Good addition to the village 👍

The food is great and affordable. The staff and the owner is very friendly and very accomodating. This will be our pit stop each time we go boxhill. Thank you so much for the treat. You guys are very nice. Til next time

We’ve been regulars at this cafe for a few years now, and we really enjoy coming here. Our 5 year- old always asks to drop in here for a panini whenever we pass by. Sanjay is a warm and welcoming proprietor and the food is great :)

We stopped off during a road trip and are glad we did. Very friendly staff who were happy to adjust the menu for whatever you needed and did their very best to make sure you were happy. The food was great and the service was better!

Excellent vibes, terrific coffee, great food. What's more, the service is good - the staff are warm and welcoming. The menu is interesting without being overwhelming. I've not been to one of the musical performances that they apparently host, but it sure seems like a good venue to host a small, intimate musical evening. The one sticking point was the slightly sticky tables (I tried two of them), reminding one of a round-the-corner greasy spoon, but that apart, Charlie & Ginger is super cool.

By far one of the best Cafes I’ve been to. Service is top notch. The team is extremely accommodating. The tomato soup is definitely worth a try (multiple times if you can). The Mezze bowl too is the yummiest I’ve had. Great quality and quantity. Decor and ambience is lovely. Got a lot of work done in a quiet corner. Will definitely come back every time I’m in Leatherhead. Travelled from Bournemouth for work and was worried I wouldn’t find a place to rest and work until I had to return. Great place overall!! The toilet too are beautiful and clean⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Took away a Brownie which was amazing as well!

I have been getting my coffee from Charlie & Ginger for years now at this rate, and there is a reason for it! Perfect coffee, great seating spaces, and delicious pastries. They do have a loyalty stamp card, so you can get a free coffee every so often. It's a great spot if you WFH, there are spaces with charger points. They also sell really nice candles & coffee beans for those with a machine at home. The aesthetic of the cafe is also so pretty, and the staff are always super friendly (and will remember your order if you are a regular!) They also have clean toilets, are dog friendly, and have space for bikes outside.

I came here for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised and delighted to find that they served fried slices. Not only that but somehow, it was one of the best fried slices I'd ever had! Not greasy (somehow) but crunchy and delicious.

A great venue for your breakfast, the portions are generous, two 7 item breakfasts and a coffee for £23 was very good value. The staff are polite and the wall art is great. Very easy to recommend that place
