Paul built fitted wardrobes for our bedroom - he is a fantastic carpenter. He was extremely efficient, friendly and kind and was able complete the whole thing in a day and a half. He was so kind to our little son, who kept trying to join in the building! He has a great eye for design and completes everything he makes to the highest standard. We are so pleased with the end product and can't wait to paint the doors and show them off!

We needed built in shelves, desk and cupboard. We contacted Paul from Cuddington Carpentry who completely understood what we wanted and then proceeded to make and fit it. Paul is an expert in what he does and is very friendly. We would recommend him for all your carpentry and joinery needs.

We needed some built in cupboards and floating shelves in an alcove and are absolutely thrilled with Paul's work. He is not only a highly skilled carpenter but also a creative, and his vision and design was far beyond our expectations. We're looking forward to having him back in a few weeks to work on some more areas of the house and have recommended him to all our friends and neighbours. Rare to find someone who also works with such pride and is clean and tidy. Paul is also very friendly (and loves pets - a bonus!) - a real pleasure to have around the house.

Ryan was recommended to us, and he certainly lived up to that recommendation. There were 6 of us in the block and he completed all the new fire door installations very efficiently, with patience and friendliness. He gave us good advice re requirements and kept in touch during the whole process of ordering right through to installation. Thoroughly recommend Ryan.

I found Orchard Carpentry via Trust a Trader website. Ryan communicates extremely well and has over delivered on the quality of the projects I asked for. Ryan provides a thoughtful and detailed service, considering all issues and resolving. He produced custom made shelving for two rooms and his attention to detail is second to none. My wife and I are very happy indeed. The price was very fair too, not cheap but not expensive. We will be using Ryan for our kitchen refit, within the next few months, as well as any other carpentry requirements. I wholeheartedly recommend Orchard Carpentry.

I asked Ryan to install a shed, what he did was above and beyond the call of duty, he removed two tons of soil and a load of other trash. Installed a perfect shed on an imperfect base, negotiated wonderfully with a tenant and project managed a waste collection job. Honestly I should have paid him more. He’s brilliant.

Ryan and Lewis did a fantastic job installing two new interior doors, adjusting four others, and adjusting, draughtproofing and installing a new lock on the front door. Ryan has a great reputation and is in high-demand, so lead times before work starts can be long. However, once the team starts work they are tidy and efficient and the work is high quality. We had one follow-up issue with the front door being too tight, and Ryan returned to fix the problem within two days of contact. Overall fantastic service and highly recommend.

Karl and his excellent team did an amazing job for us in Ashtead. They extended and fully renovated our house with a new roof, new windows, plus a new kitchen and lounge in a new 100m2 extension - taking our tired 1960s bungalow into the 21st century. Renovar were the most professional team to quote, and were brilliant from start to finish. They have quickly fixed any small issues since they finished, with zero fuss. Karl takes immense pride in the work they do and has built a trustworthy and experienced team around him. We will definitely use them again in the future. We recently worked with Swan Lofts & Extensions Surrey to create a new kitchen extension, upstairs bathroom and garden renovation. Swan where professional and organised from the start. They really listened to what we wanted to achieve with our build and produced a detailed plan and timeline of how we would get there. The attention to detail and care that was taken with our home really took the sting and stress out of having extensive building work done. On top of that everyone we worked with from Swan was friendly, communicative and easy to work with, just what you need from your building team.

We wanted an understairs wine cellar in solid oak, CVF came up with a great design and executed it to perfection. The craftsmanship is absolute top quality and the lengths they went to to ensure the oak matched our flooring was exceptional. I would highly recomend them and won’t hesitate in using them for any future projects.

I hired CVH to build a bookcase and cupboard . I chose CVH as they gave the most competitive quote and time estimate for installation. They were also very professional, practical, and efficient, I’m glad to say that they entirely lived up to my expectations and completed the project on time and on budget. Hugh was so professional, he totally remodelled a bedroom, moving stud walls and installing the walls for an en-suite. He was tidy, cleaned up after himself, very friendly and always on time. I was so pleased with the work I asked him back to re-roof my summer house and secure a wooden garden gate. If I have more work I will ask him back. Highly recommend.

Hugh is a true craftsman and delivered exactly what we had hoped for. He made a pair of beautiful custom alcove units then replaced the ageing skirting boards in our living room. Update October 2021: We liked our custom shelves/cabinets so much that we had James Carpentry return to install fitted wardrobes in the bedroom (blue wardrobes pictured below). Once again, they did an amazing job and it looks brilliant. Installation and painting was once again done very professionally and in a clean and timely manner. July 2021: We recently bought a flat which didn't have much storage space in it, but had two large alcoves in the living room. After a search of local carpenters, I came across James Carpentry. It is an amazing business and they were so professional from start to finish. Very prompt to answer the initial enquiry and to take measurements/send the designs. During installation and painting, they were very careful to ensure no mess was created/left behind and did a beautiful job. We originally wanted to have completely symmetrical shelves but on installation day they showed us a few options and we ended up liking the asymmetrical style more - which they accommodated! We are so pleased with the final result and will definitely be using James Carpentry again - already put in an enquiry about bedroom storage!

From the initial consultation with Anna, to James and the team who built the wardrobes and Attila who hand painted them - I could not fault any part of the process. From first contact with Anna to installation, communication was extremely professional. They are very knowledgeable and they take the time to address all your concerns and requests, giving you excellent advice about the design and the smallest details. Luke did an excellent job of fixing a new internal door and realigning another door that was not closing properly. Luke also helped fix a pillar in the porch area as well as mounting security devices in my home. We are very pleased with the quality of Luke's work, his friendliness and willingness to take on last minute requests, all at reasonable rates. Focus Carpentry (Luke) are a fantastic little Gem of a tradesperson to keep in your armoury. Luke communicated well with us throughout the duration of his work and it was completed, on time and on budget (his prices were well bellow competitive quotes). Luke is a master of his trade in my opinion. He cared about the works that he did for us and was a pleasure to have around the house I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Luke and the services that he provides.
