We spent a long time researching across many kitchen providers for our "forever" kitchen to be installed in our new extension, and are absolutely delighted with our decision to use Boxhill. John and Ash were fabulous in guiding us through the design and different decisions, and the quality of the workmanship, paint and fitting has exceeded our expectations - beyond value for money. I would thoroughly recommend Boxhill, and have in fact used them again for our bedroom wardrobes, with I think is testament enough.

Brightbuild made a bespoke hardwood front door and frame with an arched top. Excellent workmanship exactly to our specifications. They were on time for appointments and the installation was completed perfectly. They cleaned up after the work - spotless. I would use them again and strongly recommend them.

Needed a custom fit Wardrobe built in my bedroom and a friend recommended Elliott & Harvey who had done a great job for them. Elliott was quick to respond from the offset after I enquired. Building a wardrobe isn’t my field so he gave me numerous options and really listened to what i wanted and worked within my price budget. Elliott was very flexible and managed to squeeze us in before Christmas which we didn’t expect at all. Genuinely felt like he went out his way to get it done for us whilst we were still living out of bags. The Wardrobe itself took Elliott & Harvey just 1 day to build. On the day itself i was away with work but Elliotts communication around what he had done & giving regular updates was second to none. The quality of the Wardrobe and attention to detail with the shelfs, rails and sliding doors is excellent. Also when i returned from work it was like nobody had been in the house all day due to how tidy they had left it. Very professional, top quality work and would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Durabuild completed a side extension and loft conversion for us in 2024. It was quite a substantial project and we stayed living in our house during the whole work. Ben and Luke made this experience so much easier. They were great at communicating and keeping us informed on what was happening and what was coming up. We are so pleased with the finish they provided and highly recommend them to friends and family. We will definitely go back to them again for future projects.

Durabuild (Luke and Ben) built a large kitchen extension for us and also rebuilt our utility room and cloakroom. Throughout the project we found Luke and Ben to be highly professional and effective in managing issues and working with our plans. They coordinated a great team of trades around them and were always able to find solutions to issues. They were always punctual and communicated well. They were a pleasure to have in the house during the project, they have a definite "can-do" attitude and the finished build was really great. We have since had them back to fit a new ensuite successfully as a second project and we would be happy to recommend them to anyone contemplating building work.

Durabuild converted our old garage to a bedsit with en suite for my elderly grandfather. They done an amazing job and even raised the floor level so there would be no step down to the room. If I were to describe Tom’s approach to my home renovations I would describe him as inclusive, having great communication skills, proactive, (particularly important when as is often the case, a couple of unpredicted issues arose), approachable & open to discussing options when needed & incredibly professional. The standard of work was high & the finish is faultless. My kitchen was not entirely standard off the shelf construction, but was finished beautifully. I would have no hesitation asking Tom to carry out work on my home in the future or recommending him to others. It can be a daunting prospect embarking on a build but I was confident with the choice I made & had no misgivings at any stage. Tom is a gem!!

Tom was first recommended to us by a local kitchen company as one of their best carpenters. He fitted our new kitchen which looked fantastic. Tom then laid a new wooden floor throughout the dining and sitting rooms. Once again all laid with precision. Tom has come back this year to put in a new kitchen worktop and prep, screed, and lay kitchen floor plus fit new skirting boards. Tom is a very personable young man works extremely hard and we will use Tom every time.

We would highly recommend Tom and his team who did an amazing job on our kitchen project, which included ripping out our old kitchen, laying new flooring through the whole of the downstairs and converting the cupboard under the stairs into a dog house. Tom remained true to his quote and was very reliable and trustworthy. He kept us updated regularly and realistically worked with us on our vision. We have future projects and Tom will be our first port of call.

Giovanni just finished a few different jobs at ours, including some built in wardrobes and under stairs cupboards. We couldn’t be happier with the finished result. Giovanni is extremely hard working and reliable and we couldn’t recommend him enough.

Giovanni just fitted my Howdens kitchen which included taking out a wall. He was brilliant. He is incredibly hard working and works to a high quality. Issues were discussed and resolved quickly. Unlike many in this trade he put his customers wants first. We were actually sorry the project was over and had to say goodbye! Thoroughly recommend.

Marcio and his father-in-law did a fantastic job putting in some wardrobes in two rooms and flexible hanging/shelves in my converted attic walk-in wardrobe. The finished products look lovely and they built most of it off-site, so only entailed 3.5 days of disruption at home. They are nice guys and tidy workers, leaving the place immaculate each evening. We had a fantastic experience with Marcio and his team! It is rare to come across a company that is highly skilled, reliable, and trustworthy. They built and fitted new wardrobes, custom-made 2 alcove bookcases and several shelving units, repaired the staircase and built custom-made under-stairs storage. Moreover, their painter repaired internal walls and painted the entire house, he did an amazing job as well. I'm so glad we went for this company - they are perfectionists and their work is done to a very high standard. What I really appreciate is that they go above and beyond and communicate with you throughout the process: They send photos with updates, they ask questions to make sure they do the job exactly how you want it to be done, and they are thinking outside the box when something gets tricky. On top of that, they are reasonably priced and will suggest the most affordable option for you whenever possible. The moment you employ them they are on the ball, no chasing from our side ever. They are also super lovely to deal with, even our neighbours mentioned that everyone was very polite and quiet. I wouldn't hire anyone else for carpentry or decorating work. Focus Carpentry (Luke) are a fantastic little Gem of a tradesperson to keep in your armoury. Luke communicated well with us throughout the duration of his work and it was completed, on time and on budget (his prices were well bellow competitive quotes). Luke is a master of his trade in my opinion. He cared about the works that he did for us and was a pleasure to have around the house I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Luke and the services that he provides. Luke did an excellent job of fixing a new internal door and realigning another door that was not closing properly. Luke also helped fix a pillar in the porch area as well as mounting security devices in my home. We are very pleased with the quality of Luke's work, his friendliness and willingness to take on last minute requests, all at reasonable rates. We hope to use him again and would recommend him without hesitation.

Sean and his team at SL Carpentry have mastered the art of making life easy- they do exactly what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it and at a competitive price. Sean recently fitted a loft hatch in our home which completely transformed the use ability of our loft (and looks great!) Will be using again!

I found Fine Design through a recommendation from a friend and I'm so pleased I did. We had a few problems so it wasn't just a straight forward bathroom replacement, we had water damage and a wall that needed to be removed to get the bath out, Adem and his team delt with it quickly and efficiently. They kept me informed all the way through, I had chosen a sink but when it came I didnt like it, this was no problem, it went back and by the next day I had one I loved. The quality of the bathroom and the work is brilliant and the price was incredibly reasonable against other quotes. I had ordered blinds separately from Fine Designs that didn't arrive while they were doing the job so Adem very kindly came back to fit them for me.
