An absolute delight. Paul painted my entire two bedroomed flat to a brilliant standard. I have no uPVC frames and there was a huge amount of woodwork for him to rub down and paint. He put all my blinds and curtain rails up, TV’s on the wall, fixed the bathroom door handle, realigned some kitchen cupboard doors. He has since been back and built a wardrobe for me, refitted my kitchen kickboards and my shower plinth. Paul’s work is faultless and prices very fair. It was nice to have just one tradesman doing all the work and he has transformed my home. I can highly recommend him.

Paul tiled a splashback for us in the cloakroom after a plumbing disaster. Looks beautiful. Also installed a curtain rail into a concrete lintel ( which raises it to a new ball game). Very, very pleased with the result. Thank you Paul. 🤗

Gary and Paul did a superb job on our house, we would recommend them in an instant. The work covered a number of weeks and encompassed lounge, dining room, hall, stairs, landing and spare bedroom. All wallpaper was stripped in all the rooms, the fireplace surround removed from the lounge and a new floor installed in the bedroom. Gary made new skirting boards for the area from where the fire surround had been removed. Once plastered the rooms were decorated to a very high standard, including all 11 doors, new sockets installed in all the rooms, as was new ceiling lighting in all the rooms. Gary and Paul are a great team, very friendly and, more importantly, highly professional at all the tasks they undertook. They are very punctual, hard-working and always left the place clean and tidy at the end of the day. All the waste was removed and disposed of. Gary and Paul have completed many jobs for us over the years as well, ranging from boarding the loft, replacing carport roofing and some external painting to clearing blocked gutters and installing external security lights. Every job is completed to a high standard, cost as quoted and site left clean and tidy. As said initially we have absolutely no compunction in recommending them for a whole range of jobs. We are already looking to engage them to replace the floor, install new electrics and to decorate a remaining bedroom.

We are renovating our 1930s semi and have used Tom and his colleague for various smaller jobs. Additionally, Tom has provided invaluable independent advice related to other jobs. Tom and his team were brilliant. After tearing my hair out to get someone to replace and restore the threshold to my front door, I'm so glad I found Tom. He was very professional throughout. Came really quickly, explained exactly what he would do and how he would do it both verbally and in a written quote. His price was really reasonable as well. They arrived when agreed and did an amazing job. Has taken such a load off my mind to know the job has been done so expertly and efficiently. It looks really good too! He even went above and beyond to tackle my faulty front door! Will definately be using them again. Can't recommend highly enough.

Tom did a fantastic job of resealing our old building which was letting moisture in. He repointed the necessary brickwork and then repaired our windows which had more or less rotted away. The building now looks great and will hopefully last us a long time!

We had Tom in to do a full refurbish of our hallways, stairs, bathroom and front room. When we got into the walls it turned out there was going to be a lot more work required that expected - Tom was great, talking us through all of the issues as they were found, and discussing possible solutions as we went along so that we could find something that worked and was still relatively close to the original estimate. We are extremely happy with the result, and it is becoming hard to remember just how bad the old hallways looked now we have had the new ones for a while, as they are so nice.

Fred has done a number of important jobs around the house and garden, including roof cleaning, grass cutting, external painting, woodwork repairs and more. He did an amazing job, and we really appreciate his help! Fred is extremely hardworking, knowledgeable and friendly, he works fast while paying great attention to detail. He is also very flexible in accommodating your schedule. He definitely is a recommended handyman!

Freddie did the work for a good price and pretty quickly after I first contacted him. I left him with the keys to my flat to complete the work while I was out of town. He left the place as he found it, nothing damaged or stolen, so top marks for trustworthiness!

We are extremely happy with the work completed by Fred and his team and we will definitely be using their services in the future. Fred arrived on time to look at the work required. He was very polite and friendly and provided a detailed quote within 24 hours. The quote broke down the costs of materials and labour, so it was very clear to see exactly what we were paying for. It was Fred’s colleague, John, who actually did the work. John also turned up on time and was extremely pleasant to deal with. He did a number of carpentry jobs for us, all of which were done to a very high standard. We would definitely recommend Fred and his team.

Fred painted the exterior of our house and installed a loft ladder. His prices are fair and very reasonable and the quality of his work is high. Brad did a variety of work for me including dismantling an old wooden treehouse/playhouse, emptying a pond, trimming a door and repairing a rotten fascia on a shed. We asked Dan to visit us for a number of household repairs that had been pending at our place. Dan was very professional and had the skills to deal with all of them, from repairs in our kitchen to some fixing in the bathroom. He was quick with his time, very efficient and he sorted out all the materials he needed to complete the repairs which was great. Dan is great at his work and also very courteous, polite and responsive. Would highly recommend!

First, I have a disability and getting anything done always seems time consuming and quite a chore. Having contacted a number of 'handy men' I never received any replies, not even to politely decline. I was fortunate enough to stumbled across Dan's website. I contacted him through the website contact form and received a reply in a couple of days; then liaised with him via email to explain my requirements/situation Having agreed a date and time - Dan arrived, installed six blackout curtains, including poles and finials. I was ever so pleased with his workmanship and expeditiousness of progress, he is very polite and articulated what he was doing throughout the installation. I highly recommend Dan and HomeWorks.
