Freddie did the work for a good price and pretty quickly after I first contacted him. I left him with the keys to my flat to complete the work while I was out of town. He left the place as he found it, nothing damaged or stolen, so top marks for trustworthiness!

I was very impressed with Freddy professionalism. Everything promised was delivered. I had new tiles in the kitchen as well as a feature wall completed. I also had a blind installed, curtain Poles erected and some electrical work done . All completed to a very high standard of work. I am very pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend Freddy and his team to my friends and family.

Fred has done a number of important jobs around the house and garden, including roof cleaning, grass cutting, external painting, woodwork repairs and more. He did an amazing job, and we really appreciate his help! Fred is extremely hardworking, knowledgeable and friendly, he works fast while paying great attention to detail. He is also very flexible in accommodating your schedule. He definitely is a recommended handyman!

Fred painted the exterior of our house and installed a loft ladder. His prices are fair and very reasonable and the quality of his work is high. First, I have a disability and getting anything done always seems time consuming and quite a chore. Having contacted a number of 'handy men' I never received any replies, not even to politely decline. I was fortunate enough to stumbled across Dan's website. I contacted him through the website contact form and received a reply in a couple of days; then liaised with him via email to explain my requirements/situation Having agreed a date and time - Dan arrived, installed six blackout curtains, including poles and finials. I was ever so pleased with his workmanship and expeditiousness of progress, he is very polite and articulated what he was doing throughout the installation. I highly recommend Dan and HomeWorks.

Gary and Paul did a superb job on our house, we would recommend them in an instant. The work covered a number of weeks and encompassed lounge, dining room, hall, stairs, landing and spare bedroom. All wallpaper was stripped in all the rooms, the fireplace surround removed from the lounge and a new floor installed in the bedroom. Gary made new skirting boards for the area from where the fire surround had been removed. Once plastered the rooms were decorated to a very high standard, including all 11 doors, new sockets installed in all the rooms, as was new ceiling lighting in all the rooms. Gary and Paul are a great team, very friendly and, more importantly, highly professional at all the tasks they undertook. They are very punctual, hard-working and always left the place clean and tidy at the end of the day. All the waste was removed and disposed of. Gary and Paul have completed many jobs for us over the years as well, ranging from boarding the loft, replacing carport roofing and some external painting to clearing blocked gutters and installing external security lights. Every job is completed to a high standard, cost as quoted and site left clean and tidy. As said initially we have absolutely no compunction in recommending them for a whole range of jobs. We are already looking to engage them to replace the floor, install new electrics and to decorate a remaining bedroom.

An absolute delight. Paul painted my entire two bedroomed flat to a brilliant standard. I have no uPVC frames and there was a huge amount of woodwork for him to rub down and paint. He put all my blinds and curtain rails up, TV’s on the wall, fixed the bathroom door handle, realigned some kitchen cupboard doors. He has since been back and built a wardrobe for me, refitted my kitchen kickboards and my shower plinth. Paul’s work is faultless and prices very fair. It was nice to have just one tradesman doing all the work and he has transformed my home. I can highly recommend him.

Can’t recommend Gary and Paul highly enough. We undertook a fairly major update of our house, bedroom, landing, stair well, hall, lounge and dining room. Also removal of the fire place in the lounge. Gary and Paul stripped all the painted wall paper, and then following plastering they returned to paint and decorate the rooms (walls and ceilings) to an immaculate standard. The floor in the bedroom was also replaced, and all new light fittings and sockets were installed. The work came in on quote and timing. They also gave advice on various aspects of the work, based on experience gained from many years in the trade. The house was left clean and tidy, and timekeeping was excellent. Gary and Paul are also extremely personable, it was a pleasure to have them in the house. We also had no qualms whatsoever of leaving them with the house keys to lock up after they had finished for the day.

We were recommended to use Nick to sand, repair and restore our 1940's flooring. Wow what a great job, looks stunning! Nick is knowledgeable, hardworking and trustworthy, also also good for a chat. Thanks again, we'll call you when we need our front room doing later this year

Nick is an incredibly competent professional who's knowledge encompasses a wide area of work. He not only fixed my problem by gave me advice without any strings attached which is a rare commodity these days. And most importantly, he's a good bloke!
