I finally got around to looking for a handyman to sort a problem that had existed for a while. I am very happy to have chosen the Surrey Handyman. The experience has been extremely well organised, efficient and the work done to a high standard. Ed communicated via email which suited me perfectly and kept me up to date with timing and progress. I couldn’t be happier and will definitely use the service again.

Brad did a variety of work for me including dismantling an old wooden treehouse/playhouse, emptying a pond, trimming a door and repairing a rotten fascia on a shed. He was very professional, polite and easy to work with, plus the quality of work was undertaken with high care and skill. Everything was perfect, I couldn't have asked for anything else. Definately recommended.

Leith Construction undertook to repair my 150 year old flint wall which abuts directly onto a quiet country lane. In recent times the lane has become a rat run for an expanded secondary school and traffic and trucks and the elements have wreaked havoc on the wall taking out large chunks rendering it unstable in many places. However, Andy undertook to fix it taking his life in his hands as traffic disregarded his presence and barely slowed down as it went past the construction site. Despite the difficulties in repairing the wall Andy did a great job and we now have a restored wall good for many years ahead. Andy is a very convivial and friendly fellow who is bestowed with great skill. You can wind him up and off he goes sustained in fair and foul weather with the occasional coffee. Great guy, great job at a fair rate. You can’t go wrong with Andy.

Delivered our new outbuilding at a Victorian property from a hole in the ground to capping off. Great work and worked solidly. It was important to have a good finished brickwork as in a conservation area and the attention to detail was great. While a small building it is part of the heritage of a 100+ year house so it was great to get a brilliant finish build.

Mark was quite professional and helpful. He replaced kitchen sink . During this process he has to cut the extra wood around the sink after that connected the pipes with nice and simple design. He also replaced exhaust fan in the toilet. Very pleased with his approach and friendly nature. Already booked him for few more jobs.

Ike was a huge help throughout the process of our house move and renovation. Ike and his team completed a whole house repainting job which was completed to an excellent standard and within the agreed timeframe. Iqueue properties came and ripped out existing kitchen and replaced with new modern kitchen. The job went to schedule and resulted in a kitchen we loved. Profesionalism was maintained all the way from pre work, during and completion. Already have Iqueue properties lined up for further works -Loft boarding and bathroom upgrade. Our elderly garden shed (circa 1960) had rotten parts and had lost the window putty, so the glazing was almost falling out of the windows. New cedar battens and some new glass were supplied and fitted, so now the shed will hopefully last a lot longer . excellent work.

I booked Fix It well in advanced. They quietly took my booking and did exactly as said for the very reasonable price that was estimated for preparing and painting a Juliette balcony. The workmanship was so good and approach so professional that even my tenant volunteered a comment as to how good the work was. I'd never before experienced a tenant comment volunteered like that in all my years as a landlord! I will use Fix It going forward for all relevant work in Surrey.

Tom is the tradesperson that I've been looking for since buying my house 3 years ago. He originally came to quote for fitting internal doors and I've since gone back to him for creating shelving in my boiler cupboard, boarding my loft (and fitting a new ladder), fitting a new kitchen tap and fixing my porch with new boarding. He was very polite and friendly and provided a detailed quote within 24 hours. The quote broke down the costs of materials and labour, so it was very clear to see exactly what we were paying for. It was Fred’s colleague, John, who actually did the work. John also turned up on time and was extremely pleasant to deal with. He did a number of carpentry jobs for us, all of which were done to a very high standard. We would definitely recommend Fred and his team.

Fred painted the exterior of our house and installed a loft ladder. His prices are fair and very reasonable and the quality of his work is high. Fred was very responsive and professional, so its easy to see we are very happy with his work and would definitely ask him first about any other work we wanted done.

Gary and Paul did a superb job on our house, we would recommend them in an instant. The work covered a number of weeks and encompassed lounge, dining room, hall, stairs, landing and spare bedroom. All wallpaper was stripped in all the rooms, the fireplace surround removed from the lounge and a new floor installed in the bedroom. Gary made new skirting boards for the area from where the fire surround had been removed. Once plastered the rooms were decorated to a very high standard, including all 11 doors, new sockets installed in all the rooms, as was new ceiling lighting in all the rooms. Gary and Paul are a great team, very friendly and, more importantly, highly professional at all the tasks they undertook. They are very punctual, hard-working and always left the place clean and tidy at the end of the day. All the waste was removed and disposed of. Gary and Paul have completed many jobs for us over the years as well, ranging from boarding the loft, replacing carport roofing and some external painting to clearing blocked gutters and installing external security lights. Every job is completed to a high standard, cost as quoted and site left clean and tidy. As said initially we have absolutely no compunction in recommending them for a whole range of jobs. We are already looking to engage them to replace the floor, install new electrics and to decorate a remaining bedroom.

An absolute delight. Paul painted my entire two bedroomed flat to a brilliant standard. I have no uPVC frames and there was a huge amount of woodwork for him to rub down and paint. He put all my blinds and curtain rails up, TV’s on the wall, fixed the bathroom door handle, realigned some kitchen cupboard doors. He has since been back and built a wardrobe for me, refitted my kitchen kickboards and my shower plinth. Paul’s work is faultless and prices very fair. It was nice to have just one tradesman doing all the work and he has transformed my home. I can highly recommend him.
