Please believe me when I say that Harry has literally built my roof with just him and his apprentice in 10 days. I can't recommend harry enough, his work ethic and his workmanship is 2nd to none.I will be recommending him to anyone I know who needs a carpenter.

Well what can I say about Harry and the How To Cut Limited team. They are true professionals and amazing at their job. Always willing to find a solution to get the job done which for us is very important. The work they turn out is to a very, very high standard, on time and on budget. Refurbishment of existing staircase and galleried landing in early 2024. Works comprised the removal of existing wrought iron balustrades, handrails and nosings and replacing with solid oak handrail, spindles, nosings and baserails. The existing newel posts and staircase strings were retained and clad in oak veneered boarding. The soffit of the top flight of stairs was similarly clad. Finally, new oak veneered treads and risers were installed to the existing staircase. The overall result has completely transformed the hallway and double height reception area and we’re exceptionally pleased with the end result. Harry was very professional and tidy throughout the project. His communication skills and time keeping were exemplary. His workmanship was of the highest quality. Nothing was too much problem. Highly recommended!

Tom was first recommended to us by a local kitchen company as one of their best carpenters. He fitted our new kitchen which looked fantastic. Tom then laid a new wooden floor throughout the dining and sitting rooms. Once again all laid with precision. Tom has come back this year to put in a new kitchen worktop and prep, screed, and lay kitchen floor plus fit new skirting boards. Tom is a very personable young man works extremely hard and we will use Tom every time.

Tom and his guys were superb for us. Great communication and always on top of things. Real professionals but also very personable. We are so pleased with everything Tom has done in our home. Tom has now led the refurbishment of our kitchen, diner, hallway, utility, downstairs shower room, main bedroom, en-suite and family bathroom. There’s never any nonsense and we enjoy having him around. We tried someone else when Tom wasn’t available and got badly burned. We can’t wait to work with him on our next round! We would highly recommend Tom and his team who did an amazing job on our kitchen project, which included ripping out our old kitchen, laying new flooring through the whole of the downstairs and converting the cupboard under the stairs into a dog house. Tom remained true to his quote and was very reliable and trustworthy. He kept us updated regularly and realistically worked with us on our vision. We have future projects and Tom will be our first port of call.

If I were to describe Tom’s approach to my home renovations I would describe him as inclusive, having great communication skills, proactive, (particularly important when as is often the case, a couple of unpredicted issues arose), approachable & open to discussing options when needed & incredibly professional. The standard of work was high & the finish is faultless. My kitchen was not entirely standard off the shelf construction, but was finished beautifully. I would have no hesitation asking Tom to carry out work on my home in the future or recommending him to others. It can be a daunting prospect embarking on a build but I was confident with the choice I made & had no misgivings at any stage. Tom is a gem!!

We had a fantastic experience with Marcio and his team! It is rare to come across a company that is highly skilled, reliable, and trustworthy. They built and fitted new wardrobes, custom-made 2 alcove bookcases and several shelving units, repaired the staircase and built custom-made under-stairs storage. Moreover, their painter repaired internal walls and painted the entire house, he did an amazing job as well. I'm so glad we went for this company - they are perfectionists and their work is done to a very high standard. What I really appreciate is that they go above and beyond and communicate with you throughout the process: They send photos with updates, they ask questions to make sure they do the job exactly how you want it to be done, and they are thinking outside the box when something gets tricky. On top of that, they are reasonably priced and will suggest the most affordable option for you whenever possible. The moment you employ them they are on the ball, no chasing from our side ever. They are also super lovely to deal with, even our neighbours mentioned that everyone was very polite and quiet. I wouldn't hire anyone else for carpentry or decorating work. Marcio and his dad did an extraordinary job at our property, building and fitting two big wardrobes to perfection! From the very start, when Marcio first came round for a site visit, he was knowledgeable, professional and very communicative. His quote followed shortly, and then the works started and finished without any delays. The quality of craftmanship is stunning, we couldn't have asked for anything better than this! Absolute excellence! We will without hesitation pick Marcio again in the future if any new work will need to be undertaken.

Marcio did an amazing job creating high quality storage in our loft. As you can see in the before and after photos they look great. He often went above and beyond to make the finish a very high standard. I would highly recommend.

Marcio and his father-in-law did a fantastic job putting in some wardrobes in two rooms and flexible hanging/shelves in my converted attic walk-in wardrobe. The finished products look lovely and they built most of it off-site, so only entailed 3.5 days of disruption at home. They are nice guys and tidy workers, leaving the place immaculate each evening. I would definitely recommend them.

Richard and his team were great when we called them up to repair some rotting timbers on our 400yr old cottage! They took everything on their stride and kept us informed every step. They were clean and tidy, and completed the job on time and budget. Richard also returned at short notice a few weeks later when we found another very rotten timber. All work was carried out to an exceptional standard and blends in with the original wall perfectly. Highly recommended, and worth waiting for.

Really good experience. It was great to find a well established company that was not only prepared to take on a small bespoke job, but did quality work and was also reasonably priced. They treated us, and the job, with respect and professionalism. The job itself was building a bespoke hallway cupboard which they did really nicely. It looks great and fits perfectly in the space.

Amazing! I am so grateful I chose Andrew as our roofer. His attention to detail is above and beyond anything I could have ever expected and his sincere and honest customer service is unbeatable. Andy came out to look at our chimney, as it was becoming an absolute nightmare. I had received a few alarming quotes, and a couple of no shows from other companies (would you believe it?!) Andy arranged to come and inspect the work needed and give me a quote at 7 o'clock in the evening, due to my difficult working hours and long commute, quoting really fairly. I asked about a few other odd bits that are on my long list of "to dos". His straightforward demeanor meant I was well informed about the necessary work, telling me that certain other bits could be cut in price here and there, as not as complicated (or expensive) as I was led to believe by other builders. Long story short, we've been lucky enough to have Andy as and when things come up. The chimney is repointed, our lead work has been done, he's even going to do us a few cabinets in the house, always keeping me in the loop about everything going on. And he cleans up after himself! Never known a roofer to be so meticulous in absolutely every little task. Honestly, if you're thinking about hiring AJC, you're already onto a winner! Absolutely brilliant!

Paul did an amazing job and exceeded my expectations in every way. What I thought was going to be a simple job turned out to have multiple hiccups along the way but Paul had a solution every time and made sure that anything we needed to do didn’t compromise on the end result and finish. Paul tidied at the end of each day and left the area so tidy you would barely have known he’d been here! He gave me a very fair price for the job. I can’t recommend Paul enough.

I woul love to give 20 stars if I could. I need transform my Mercdes sprinter into a mobile beauty salon and Paul did a amazing job. It was a big risk for me putting my big project in someone hands and I knew It was his first job converting a van. He exceed my expectations. I provided some insight as to what I was looking for in my custom canopy, and what was delivered was not only spot on, but entirely improved.
