Ryan was recommended to us, and he certainly lived up to that recommendation. There were 6 of us in the block and he completed all the new fire door installations very efficiently, with patience and friendliness. He gave us good advice re requirements and kept in touch during the whole process of ordering right through to installation. Thoroughly recommend Ryan.

I asked Ryan to install a shed, what he did was above and beyond the call of duty, he removed two tons of soil and a load of other trash. Installed a perfect shed on an imperfect base, negotiated wonderfully with a tenant and project managed a waste collection job. Honestly I should have paid him more. He’s brilliant.

Ryan and Lewis did a fantastic job installing two new interior doors, adjusting four others, and adjusting, draughtproofing and installing a new lock on the front door. Ryan has a great reputation and is in high-demand, so lead times before work starts can be long. However, once the team starts work they are tidy and efficient and the work is high quality. We had one follow-up issue with the front door being too tight, and Ryan returned to fix the problem within two days of contact. Overall fantastic service and highly recommend.

Ryan and Lewis recently fitted my new kitchen. It was very easy to liaise with them and they were responsive to requests throughout, making helpful suggestions and coordinating the other trades as work progressed. The attention to detail was impressive and this shows in the final result. I am very happy with the work and would definitely use Orchard Carpentry again should the need arise.

JP is a pleasant, honest and reliable tradesman. He was very punctual and arrived our property at the time he said he would. He was very patient and accommodating and did an excellent job in and around the house, he carried out some alterations in my kitchen and fitted new locks and handles to 7 doors. His quote was also competitive. He also had a wealth of advice to offer regarding the possible ways to fix one of my kitchen unit that was proving difficult to fix. We would recommend him highly.

JP is a brilliant carpenter, very friendly and tidy. He put in 4 new doors for us, which wasn’t simple as the door frames were very wonky due to movement in the house, but he made it work and they look great. He also put a box around our boiler for us and we will be getting him back to do other work for us as soon as we need him. Great lad, great carpenter and great price, would highly recommend.

WSM Joinery was highly recommended to us by a friend who had used them for a number of pieces of work. They are highly reliable, hardworking and their work is excellent. They are also very friendly, polite, professional and leave everything absolutely spotless. Our very experienced painter decorator was somewhat dubious about the panelling that we had said we were getting installed ahead of painting and asked a host of questions to check about the quality and the finish to be expected. However, when he came to do the paintwork and saw the completed panelling, he was so impressed with the work that he asked for the carpenter’s details, so that he could recommend them to other clients. We have now used them twice to install wall panelling and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and have already highly recommended them to friends and neighbours.

Will is an absolute pleasure to have working in the house. His work is first class, he takes pride in all that he does & is a very neat and tidy tradesmen. Will has gone above and beyond to get the job done quickly and also done some extras to make the job look the best it can. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Will.

Will and John did an absolutely first class job. The task was to fit panelling in the dining room. They measured up and set out to the nearest millimetre and the result it absolutely fantastic. We would definitely recommend and will be using WSM Joinery for future work. Just have to get a couple of sockets moved up and paint, which once done will look beautiful.

I had two bespoke wardrobes built in our home by James and his team. From the initial consultation with Anna, to James and the team who built the wardrobes and Attila who hand painted them - I could not fault any part of the process. Excellent communication through-out, spoilt for choice in terms of options, well priced and built in a timely fashion to a high standard, by a team who were polite and tidy. HIGHLY recommend James Carpentry!

We had an alcove unit made for us and a full length wall fitted wardrobe. The whole team were fab - from the designs, to the door knobs, to how tidy and considerate they were building the units and their attention to detail. Very professional and friendly and excellent quality.

Update October 2021: We liked our custom shelves/cabinets so much that we had James Carpentry return to install fitted wardrobes in the bedroom (blue wardrobes pictured below). Once again, they did an amazing job and it looks brilliant. Installation and painting was once again done very professionally and in a clean and timely manner. July 2021: We recently bought a flat which didn't have much storage space in it, but had two large alcoves in the living room. After a search of local carpenters, I came across James Carpentry. It is an amazing business and they were so professional from start to finish. Very prompt to answer the initial enquiry and to take measurements/send the designs. During installation and painting, they were very careful to ensure no mess was created/left behind and did a beautiful job. We originally wanted to have completely symmetrical shelves but on installation day they showed us a few options and we ended up liking the asymmetrical style more - which they accommodated! We are so pleased with the final result and will definitely be using James Carpentry again - already put in an enquiry about bedroom storage!

If I were to describe Tom’s approach to my home renovations I would describe him as inclusive, having great communication skills, proactive, (particularly important when as is often the case, a couple of unpredicted issues arose), approachable & open to discussing options when needed & incredibly professional. The standard of work was high & the finish is faultless. My kitchen was not entirely standard off the shelf construction, but was finished beautifully. I would have no hesitation asking Tom to carry out work on my home in the future or recommending him to others. It can be a daunting prospect embarking on a build but I was confident with the choice I made & had no misgivings at any stage. Tom is a gem!!

Tom and his guys were superb for us. Great communication and always on top of things. Real professionals but also very personable. We are so pleased with everything Tom has done in our home. Tom has now led the refurbishment of our kitchen, diner, hallway, utility, downstairs shower room, main bedroom, en-suite and family bathroom. There’s never any nonsense and we enjoy having him around. We tried someone else when Tom wasn’t available and got badly burned. We can’t wait to work with him on our next round! We would highly recommend Tom and his team who did an amazing job on our kitchen project, which included ripping out our old kitchen, laying new flooring through the whole of the downstairs and converting the cupboard under the stairs into a dog house. Tom remained true to his quote and was very reliable and trustworthy. He kept us updated regularly and realistically worked with us on our vision. From the very start, when Marcio first came round for a site visit, he was knowledgeable, professional and very communicative. Marcio and his father-in-law did a fantastic job putting in some wardrobes in two rooms and flexible hanging/shelves in my converted attic walk-in wardrobe. The finished products look lovely and they built most of it off-site, so only entailed 3.5 days of disruption at home. They are nice guys and tidy workers, leaving the place immaculate each evening.
