Had a dining corner bench and bedroom headboard with integrated LED lighting made from a design provided by an interior designer. G&J provided suggestions to improve the original design and executed a perfect installation over two days of hard work. I really appreciated their attention to detail and willingness/ability to make last minute adjustments while fitting, including cutting holes for electric plugs exactly where I wanted them. They also helped finding an electrician for the job which was ideal as they work often together and I was able to get everything exactly as I wanted. I would give 6 stars if possible!

I cannot recommend G&J Bespoke Joinery highly enough. I had initially engaged them to create a custom work bench with wood panelling and they did a splendid job. Everyone who has since seen it has been very impressed. They are also great in coming up with ideas for the space. They have since built me a custom dining table and are in the process of building me some shelves for the kitchen. Not only are they very very good at what they do, they are also very helpful and friendly. 100% recommend!

From the first enquiry to the fitting, the guys have been incredible, super kind, super accommodating and helpful. An excellent and productive two days. The office staff are wonderful in providing support and full details of the course itself and very friendly and always willing to be of assistance. The course itself - Home Maintenance Foundation - is the ideal introduction for beginners like myself who are not confident about undertaking DIY jobs or questioning some tradespeople and their quotes / or claims of 'extra work'. The course was very well delivered by 'Pete' who had the ideal combination or informativeness, humour, patience, and importantly practical knowledge and experience, to help all of the group who were at different levels of competence and confidence. His advice was wonderful - practical and tailored to individual needs, using a facilitative coaching approach. Thank you for a great experience. I completed the DIY home maintenance course last weekend with BTC. Fantastic course, very hands on and learned loads. Our tutor Pete was excellent. Really knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I’d definitely recommend this course and BTC.

The plastering course Schedule 1 has exceeded my expectations... This is a real hands on full week course where we have learned how to plaster. The time given for practice is amazing. I now feel full of confidence that I am able to replaster my house to a high standard. Billy the tutor was great and all the people in the office ( Matt, Sally) super friendly.. highly recommend.

Sean and his team at SL Carpentry have mastered the art of making life easy- they do exactly what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it and at a competitive price. Sean recently fitted a loft hatch in our home which completely transformed the use ability of our loft (and looks great!) Will be using again!

I asked sean if he could pop by my house once again as I had a vision but didn’t know if it would work or not. Sean came up with a bespoke design, hand built & completed my fitted storage units to perfection. Would highly recommend and will be using Sean again for future projects.

After months of trying to find a decent carpenter (they were either too expensive or kept replying late and changing their quotes etc) I turned to Google and came across James from ANG carpenter. After seeing excellent reviews I contacted him looking to create custom built cabinets/entertainment unit. James responded back promptly and came over to check out the space and after discussing what we wanted he came back couple days later and started work with his team. It was all very smooth and easy. James and his whole team were all extremely friendly and most importantly professional. The best part for me was the attention to detail as I was very particular about what I wanted. He met all my requirements and even gave me some good advice regarding the build along the way. They built the unit on site so I could check at every step if I was happy with it and if I wasn’t they were happy to adjust it along the way! 10/10 service, would definitely recommend!

From start to end of my shop renovation they were amazing at communicating and making sure everything we wanted was done to the highest standard with perfection. believe me when I say I am very fussy, so they put up with a lot of questions and me checking up on them and they were patient and understanding… I’m so please with the final outcome and from Thinking it would never happen they brung my dreams to life.

I came across James through a simple Google search looking for carpentry and joinery in the Croydon area. Usually I look for recommendations however I didn’t have anyone in mind. I am so pleased that we came across James and his team. He was very polite, punctual, friendly and offer sound advice and options for our staircase. He did an excellent job putting in the spindles and handrail that we wanted. I would say that he was a perfectionist and had taken his time to complete the job to an excellent standard. Deda and his team worked on our single story rear extension and they did it exceptionally! Everything was perfect and he made our vision come to life - if anything even better. Every step of the way he was communicating with us on what he would be working on, what his recommendations were and on what would and wouldn’t work. He was here every morning at 8am sharp, was careful, clean and he made sure to give us his best expert advice whenever we were unsure about something. He is definitely a perfectionist which is undoubtedly necessary when completing a project like this - there is nothing that I would change about my experience or the final outcome whatsoever. He was able to complete everything just in time for Christmas which was great and what we asked for from the start. I cannot recommend Deda and his team enough. They were a team who took on this project as if they were working on their own homes. Every decision he helped us make was with our best interest in mind which I cannot thank him enough for.

I really enjoyed working with Dede and his team. They laid new wood flooring for us (which looks great) and sorted out an area of damp. I really appreciated the time Dede took to advise us. He steered us away from doing things that would have cost an awful lot of money and probably wasn’t worth doing! It felt as though he just wanted to do the best for us. Deda recently completed a kitchen extension and a full refurbishment of our house, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. His attention to detail, professionalism, and skill are truly top-notch. He communicated clearly throughout the project and the quality of his work is superb. As you will see from other reviews, Deda was always on site and always ready to start at 8am! No challenge is too big for Deda, old houses are full of surprises but he has a solution for everything. As well as being a first class builder, Deda is also a genuine friendly guy who was a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend Deda to anyone! We hope one day we can get him back for our loft conversion. Thank you again Deda, the kids miss seeing you! :)

Dede and his team are AMAZING!! I recommend them to anyone and everyone! We used DPA while our neighbours were having an extension built and they repaired and painted the brickwork at the front of our home, built a new shed base, replaced our drain pipes, along with a variety of other bits. I know the smaller jobs are not what they normally do, but they were happy to help me and my family. If I had a bigger project I would call them! On top of the brilliant work, they are lovely people too and it’s was such a pleasure working with them.

We have just had a staircase installed from Garcia Joinery, not only are we delighted with all aspects from advice, fitting and completed product we were very, very impressed with George and his colleague who fitted the staircase, we were amazed at how well it went together in a very timely manner. Garcia Joinery were recommended to me by my builder. I had a specific balustrade design I wanted in metal, but was ridiculously expensive, so Garcia Joinery said they could do the same design in timber. Their pricing was very reasonable.
