I found Fine Design through a recommendation from a friend and I'm so pleased I did. We had a few problems so it wasn't just a straight forward bathroom replacement, we had water damage and a wall that needed to be removed to get the bath out, Adem and his team delt with it quickly and efficiently. They kept me informed all the way through, I had chosen a sink but when it came I didnt like it, this was no problem, it went back and by the next day I had one I loved. The quality of the bathroom and the work is brilliant and the price was incredibly reasonable against other quotes. I had ordered blinds separately from Fine Designs that didn't arrive while they were doing the job so Adem very kindly came back to fit them for me.

Cranmore Carpentry supplied and installed replacement internal doors to my house in Burpham. All eight doors were fitted with care and precision and the modern door design improved every room. We are very please with the completed work. I would certainly recommend Cranmore Carpentry for new internal doors.

Dan built a bespoke doorframe and fitted a door for the opening to our new extension. Dan was brilliant from start to finish; he gave lots of advice about what was possible for us and then his work was very high quality and Dan took great care with the job. Matthew has been really supportive and patient as we went through the design process for our bookcase. Visiting his workshop and going through all of the options was really useful and helped us understand exactly what we were after, especially seeing where the work would be done. Now the bookcase has been installed we could not be happier and the quality of the work is excellent. I would whole heartedly recommended Matthew for his carpentry.

Throughout our engagement, Matthew's needs analysis, design recommendations and attention to detail were superb. We cannot recommend Matthew and his team highly enough. They recently designed, made and installed bookcases/ cabinets in our home office and we are absolutely delighted with them. Matthew guided us through the process from initial design discussions to the installation, with care and complete professionalism. He advised us at every stage of the process and considered everything down to the smallest of details. The end result is better than we had hoped for.

Matthew and his team designed our master bedroom and dressing room wardrobes. From the initial meeting with Matthew at his workshop, to the completion, the whole team have been professional, timely, efficient and friendly. The process has been very smooth with information regarding installation dates being communicated frequently. Upon completion of the wardrobes, we decided that we needed an understair cupboard and Matthew obliged! All of the furniture looks very in keeping with our cottage, is of excellent quality and finish. We cannot recommend Matthew Roberts Carpentry highly enough.

Neil is diligent, professional and very adaptable. He works hard and takes great pride in the end result. He built complicated bespoke wardrobes for our master bedroom and walk in wardrobe. We were so pleased we then added 2 further bedroom given the great job he had done

Challenge Neal with any space and he'll make a brilliant unit or cupboard to fit! Highly recommend, especially for shoe storage when it's impossible to find the right unit anywhere else. Reasonably priced, efficient, courteous and very professional. You can't really go wrong!

We first employed Neil to build a bespoke storage unit in our utility room. Neil was fantastic. He was great at translating our ideas into paper and worked quickly and efficiently. We were so happy with the work, we asked him to build bespoke wardrobes for our master and second bedroom. He has done a brilliant job and the end product exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend Neil.

Shane helped us with sorting sticking doors, hanging a mirror, a cupboard shelf and some additional utility room cupboards. He was quick to provide an accurate quote and worked around our schedule to complete the work quickly and to a high standard. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Shane and will certainly be looking to use him again in the future.

Shane helped us to improve our kitchen on a tight budget replacing the worktop and repositioning units to improve our use of space. Shane was always punctual and friendly and completed the work to a high quality within the time frame given. The Wood Life provided professional and friendly services for kitchen installation. Shane is a carpenter and has contacts including plumbing, electrician, building and plastering. It was a pleasure to have Shane's team working here over three weeks. All were considerate, flexible, professional, friendly and I would highly recommend.

We had to get a few doors trimmed down after new carpets were installed. Shane was quick to respond, quick to quote (and very fairly priced, I didn't even negotiate!) and punctual on the day. He did a great job and even stayed for a cuppa and chat afterwards. I could tell while we were chatting that Shane really takes pride in his work and has attention to detail. I would highly recommend him and his company. If we need any more work done, I will definitely be calling on him. I would strongly urge anyone looking to have work done to use 'The Wood Life'

I used A-Spec to replace our front and side door recently. They were able to get high quality doors with custom spec (colour, matching frame, door furniture) at very competitive pricing. Luke did a brilliant job and made replacing the doors look very easy despite the old doors being a nightmare to take out. We’re delighted with the doors and the job done. Any issues we had with the doors when they were delivered has been no trouble to resolve either, with helpful and willing responses

Selected as Chris visited to assess the work and offered solutions to issues and he listened to high detail and level of finish required. A professional outfit with excellent attention to detail and Chris made visits to oversee progress. Rich our daily visitor was a pleasure to host him daily and his own level of attention to detail is outstanding. He even rounded off an edge on door threshold so that grandchildren didn't get injured. Existing Kitchen doors cut to new size required were to an excellent finish and all trims matched in perfectly. All visitors (approx5) were courteous and all mess cleaned up frequently. If you want a job done well, then select the best.

Richard and his team were great when we called them up to repair some rotting timbers on our 400yr old cottage! They took everything on their stride and kept us informed every step. They were clean and tidy, and completed the job on time and budget. Richard also returned at short notice a few weeks later when we found another very rotten timber. All work was carried out to an exceptional standard and blends in with the original wall perfectly. Highly recommended, and worth waiting for.
