I found Fine Design through a recommendation from a friend and I'm so pleased I did. We had a few problems so it wasn't just a straight forward bathroom replacement, we had water damage and a wall that needed to be removed to get the bath out, Adem and his team delt with it quickly and efficiently. They kept me informed all the way through, I had chosen a sink but when it came I didnt like it, this was no problem, it went back and by the next day I had one I loved. The quality of the bathroom and the work is brilliant and the price was incredibly reasonable against other quotes. I had ordered blinds separately from Fine Designs that didn't arrive while they were doing the job so Adem very kindly came back to fit them for me.

Matthew and his team designed our master bedroom and dressing room wardrobes. From the initial meeting with Matthew at his workshop, to the completion, the whole team have been professional, timely, efficient and friendly. The process has been very smooth with information regarding installation dates being communicated frequently. Upon completion of the wardrobes, we decided that we needed an understair cupboard and Matthew obliged! All of the furniture looks very in keeping with our cottage, is of excellent quality and finish. We cannot recommend Matthew Roberts Carpentry highly enough.

Matthew has been really supportive and patient as we went through the design process for our bookcase. Visiting his workshop and going through all of the options was really useful and helped us understand exactly what we were after, especially seeing where the work would be done. Now the bookcase has been installed we could not be happier and the quality of the work is excellent. I would whole heartedly recommended Matthew for his carpentry.

We cannot recommend Matthew and his team highly enough. They recently designed, made and installed bookcases/ cabinets in our home office and we are absolutely delighted with them. Matthew guided us through the process from initial design discussions to the installation, with care and complete professionalism. Ollie and team built a great looking, quality, home garden office room/building. Built to a really quality spec that will last a long time, this professional team completed the build on time, and price. Ollie was flexible where I wanted to add some small extras and increase the size a little; a true bespoke build. I cannot recommend Oliver Smith Carpentry more highly. He and his team are part of a new generation of professionals - fastidious, careful, super-professional and serious about their work, unquestionably trustworthy, always cleaning up at the end of the day. We just wanted our garage converted into a useable space, what we now have is a fabulous room - thoroughly insulated, fireproof, airy, pleasant and handed over niggle free. It's a pleasure to be in there. All through the process (only 3 weeks) Oliver and his team worked hard, always on time, always calm and responsive to our requests and last-minute changes of mind. I just wish we had more projects for him to do as I'd book him like a shot. (and, truthfully, this is an unbiased review - we did not know Oliver before this job).

Ollie and the team were superb from start to finish. At the beginning we needed some help with the design of our outside office. Ollie was great and sat down and sketched out a few ideas with us. He followed up quickly and stayed in contact on a regular basis, before providing us with a detailed, clear quote shortly after our first meeting. During the build it was great to have him and the team on site, very respectful, professional and all round it was a pleasure. Any decisions/discussions during the build were open and easy, we always felt like we knew our options and the pros & cons of each. The whole project was on time if not early and even came in under budget. The quality of the finished office is excellent, so good in fact we've booked him in for another job already. Thanks again!!

I found Orchard Carpentry via Trust a Trader website. Ryan communicates extremely well and has over delivered on the quality of the projects I asked for. Ryan provides a thoughtful and detailed service, considering all issues and resolving. He produced custom made shelving for two rooms and his attention to detail is second to none. My wife and I are very happy indeed. The price was very fair too, not cheap but not expensive. We will be using Ryan for our kitchen refit, within the next few months, as well as any other carpentry requirements. I wholeheartedly recommend Orchard Carpentry.

Ryan and Lewis recently fitted my new kitchen. It was very easy to liaise with them and they were responsive to requests throughout, making helpful suggestions and coordinating the other trades as work progressed. The attention to detail was impressive and this shows in the final result. I am very happy with the work and would definitely use Orchard Carpentry again should the need arise.

Ryan recently completed the most beautiful tv unit for us. His work was meticulous, matching our exact specifications and making sure that the colours and materials used perfectly blended with the rest of our kitchen/living area, and our electronics all fit neatly within the shelves. Ryan also created cupboards for our utility room, under the stairs, and even a last minute door frame! All were absolutely spot on. Ryan and his team are efficient and considerate in how they work, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

As part of our full house renovation, we hired Tom and his company, Acorn Bespoke Carpentry and Joinery, to craft several custom pieces: a stunning oak front door, oak double garage doors, fully integrated understairs cupboards, and a beautifully designed oak mantlepiece for our fireplace. Before meeting Tom, we had spoken with a couple of other joinery companies. However, from the moment we met Tom, it was clear that he and Acorn Bespoke Carpentry were the perfect choice to handle all the key joinery work for our renovation project. Tom has a remarkable ability to put you at ease. He listened attentively to our ideas and ensured every aspect of the project was executed smoothly, thoughtfully, and with the utmost care. When you hire someone like Tom, you naturally have high hopes for the results. Yet, the final pieces exceeded all our expectations – we were truly blown away by the exceptional craftsmanship. Our oak front door and double garage doors are breathtaking. The quality of the craftsmanship is unmatched, adding timeless elegance to our home. To honour the heritage of the house, we had separately commissioned a stained-glass panel, which Tom seamlessly incorporated into the front door, enhancing its beauty. The fully integrated, push-to-open understairs cupboards are not only highly practical, perfectly meeting our storage needs, but they also look fantastic. And the new oak mantlepiece above our fireplace ties everything together beautifully. We cannot recommend Tom highly enough. I commissioned Thomas and his team to create a bepoke display wall as part of our house refurbishment a few years ago. I can recommend Acorn for attention to detail throughout the process. I suspect I asked for more input in the design than most but all requests were listened to and addressed. The end result was a stunning addition to the house which we enjoy and appreciate every day. Thomas and his team recently completed quite a lot of work in our house, including some very complex bespoke joinery e.g., a wine wall and whisky cabinet using a variety of materials. The quality of the work was very good, Thomas and his team are very thorough and have excellent attention to detail. They were also flexible and worked very well with our architect. They are nice people too and I would recommend them.

Thomas recently came back to our house (after many other jobs completed for us) to build two desks for our daughter’s bedrooms. As usual service was great and workmanship excellent. Desks look amazing and just what we asked for . Highly recommend

Mick completely transformed our garage into an excellent usable space. We consulted Mick at the outset of the project and he project managed from start to finish including organising separate contractors for plastering and electrics. Mick also provided advice on potential designs for the garage storage and helped with the procurement of products for the storage. Mick is always incredibly responsive, diligent, a perfectionist in his work. He is also incredibly tidy in a workspace! We can’t recommend Mick enough!

I have been working with Mick on the renovation of my property for over a year and he has carried out many projects including panelling in my daughter’s bedroom and alcove cupboards and floating shelves in a playroom. However, Mick’s assistance in transforming our hallway deserves a review on its own! After being badly let down by a local building company, Mick came in and helped us create the hallway of dreams! We consulted with Mick about how best to create the hallway we wanted and worked together to create designs and source products. Mick completed a new hallway cabinet and matching shoe cupboard, panelling, picture rail, skirting boards and internal doors. The results are outstanding and has completely transformed our hallway. Mick is incredibly talented as well as a true professional and we have already recommended him to all of our local friends.

Michael has helped us to update and transform many rooms in our house, adding much needed storage solutions for the bathroom, washer and dryer cupboard, staircase and alcove cupboards. His attention to detail and problem solving is first class, so much so that we’re already booked in for some fitted wardrobes in 2x rooms.

Hybrid Carpentry did an amazing job transforming our stairs! Mick replaced the carpet with beautiful oak treads and white risers. The team was professional and detail-oriented. We couldn’t be happier with the results—our stairs look stunning!

Although we didn't go ahead with A-Spec for our side-return extension, we were very impressed with Jonathan and how we approached quoting out the build. He was responsive and detailed, so would have no hesitations getting him to quote out future projects.

A-Spec team were professional, tidy, showed great attention to detail throughout the project and an absolute pleasure to work with. We are extremely happy with final results! Would 100% use their services again and highly recommend.

Second time of using this company. Their work is always of a very high standard and the craftsmen are tidy and courteous and keep inconvenience to a minimum. If you require high class, long lasting work, then I would definitely recommend.
