Mick completely transformed our garage into an excellent usable space. We consulted Mick at the outset of the project and he project managed from start to finish including organising separate contractors for plastering and electrics. Mick also provided advice on potential designs for the garage storage and helped with the procurement of products for the storage. Mick is always incredibly responsive, diligent, a perfectionist in his work. He is also incredibly tidy in a workspace! We can’t recommend Mick enough!

I have been working with Mick on the renovation of my property for over a year and he has carried out many projects including panelling in my daughter’s bedroom and alcove cupboards and floating shelves in a playroom. However, Mick’s assistance in transforming our hallway deserves a review on its own! After being badly let down by a local building company, Mick came in and helped us create the hallway of dreams! We consulted with Mick about how best to create the hallway we wanted and worked together to create designs and source products. Mick completed a new hallway cabinet and matching shoe cupboard, panelling, picture rail, skirting boards and internal doors. The results are outstanding and has completely transformed our hallway. Mick is incredibly talented as well as a true professional and we have already recommended him to all of our local friends.

Michael has helped us to update and transform many rooms in our house, adding much needed storage solutions for the bathroom, washer and dryer cupboard, staircase and alcove cupboards. Neal made me a long wanted under stairs cupboard and it does everything I wanted - holds 3 sets of golf clubs, 5 people’s shoes, laptops, monitors and printer . We looked at companies that specialise in under stairs cupboards but their modules did not suit our needs. It is totally bespoke and holds everything that was previously all around my hallway behind closed doors! Neal is a very efficient, neat and tidy worker who produced a very high quality product. I would definitely recommend him if you are looking for some carpentry or joinery work.

We first employed Neil to build a bespoke storage unit in our utility room. Neil was fantastic. He was great at translating our ideas into paper and worked quickly and efficiently. We were so happy with the work, we asked him to build bespoke wardrobes for our master and second bedroom. He has done a brilliant job and the end product exceeded our expectations. I found Orchard Carpentry via Trust a Trader website. Ryan communicates extremely well and has over delivered on the quality of the projects I asked for. Ryan provides a thoughtful and detailed service, considering all issues and resolving. He produced custom made shelving for two rooms and his attention to detail is second to none. My wife and I are very happy indeed. The price was very fair too, not cheap but not expensive. We will be using Ryan for our kitchen refit, within the next few months, as well as any other carpentry requirements. I wholeheartedly recommend Orchard Carpentry.

Ryan was recommended to us, and he certainly lived up to that recommendation. There were 6 of us in the block and he completed all the new fire door installations very efficiently, with patience and friendliness. Ryan and Lewis recently fitted my new kitchen. It was very easy to liaise with them and they were responsive to requests throughout, making helpful suggestions and coordinating the other trades as work progressed. The attention to detail was impressive and this shows in the final result. I am very happy with the work and would definitely use Orchard Carpentry again should the need arise.

I asked Ryan to install a shed, what he did was above and beyond the call of duty, he removed two tons of soil and a load of other trash. Installed a perfect shed on an imperfect base, negotiated wonderfully with a tenant and project managed a waste collection job. Honestly I should have paid him more. He’s brilliant.

We have awarded Acorn practically all of the bespoke joinery work for our new home in Surrey, including a large study/library, boot room, laundry/utility room, cloak room, bathroom vanities, internal and external doors, two walk-in dressing rooms and another wardrobe. The result is stunning and we couldn't be happier. Thomas and his team produced top-grade furniture and installed them perfectly, tending to our every request and input with professionalism, respect and curtesy. Thomas is creative, reliable and an excellent problem solver. His design drawings were super helpful and really brought things to life, and the delivery was spot-on as detailed. He worked very well with the rest of the construction teams as well. We would gladly hire Acorn again and we highly recommend them.

Thomas and his team recently completed quite a lot of work in our house, including some very complex bespoke joinery e.g., a wine wall and whisky cabinet using a variety of materials. The quality of the work was very good, Thomas and his team are very thorough and have excellent attention to detail. They were also flexible and worked very well with our architect. They are nice people too and I would recommend them.

I commissioned Thomas and his team to create a bepoke display wall as part of our house refurbishment a few years ago. I can recommend Acorn for attention to detail throughout the process. I suspect I asked for more input in the design than most but all requests were listened to and addressed. The end result was a stunning addition to the house which we enjoy and appreciate every day. We cannot recommend Matthew and his team highly enough. They recently designed, made and installed bookcases/ cabinets in our home office and we are absolutely delighted with them. Matthew guided us through the process from initial design discussions to the installation, with care and complete professionalism. He advised us at every stage of the process and considered everything down to the smallest of details. The end result is better than we had hoped for.

Matthew has been really supportive and patient as we went through the design process for our bookcase. Visiting his workshop and going through all of the options was really useful and helped us understand exactly what we were after, especially seeing where the work would be done. Matthew and his team designed our master bedroom and dressing room wardrobes. From the initial meeting with Matthew at his workshop, to the completion, the whole team have been professional, timely, efficient and friendly. The process has been very smooth with information regarding installation dates being communicated frequently. Upon completion of the wardrobes, we decided that we needed an understair cupboard and Matthew obliged! All of the furniture looks very in keeping with our cottage, is of excellent quality and finish. We cannot recommend Matthew Roberts Carpentry highly enough.

I found Fine Design through a recommendation from a friend and I'm so pleased I did. We had a few problems so it wasn't just a straight forward bathroom replacement, we had water damage and a wall that needed to be removed to get the bath out, Adem and his team delt with it quickly and efficiently. They kept me informed all the way through, I had chosen a sink but when it came I didnt like it, this was no problem, it went back and by the next day I had one I loved. The quality of the bathroom and the work is brilliant and the price was incredibly reasonable against other quotes. I had ordered blinds separately from Fine Designs that didn't arrive while they were doing the job so Adem very kindly came back to fit them for me.

Ollie and the team were superb from start to finish. At the beginning we needed some help with the design of our outside office. Ollie was great and sat down and sketched out a few ideas with us. He followed up quickly and stayed in contact on a regular basis, before providing us with a detailed, clear quote shortly after our first meeting. During the build it was great to have him and the team on site, very respectful, professional and all round it was a pleasure. Any decisions/discussions during the build were open and easy, we always felt like we knew our options and the pros & cons of each. The whole project was on time if not early and even came in under budget. The quality of the finished office is excellent, so good in fact we've booked him in for another job already. Thanks again!!
