Toby has done further work for us adding hooks mounted on oak to the back of a door. Super job again. Toby did a top job, replacing all our bedroom doors. We're very pleased with the doors and the quality of the work is excellent. We will definitely use Militao again when we need bespoke carpentry completed.

We got in touch with Toby having followed his work on social media. We had reached the end of a large renovation project and needed some bespoke carpentry items to fit some quirky spaces - fitted ‘open style’ wardrobes in our dresser maximising space, converting a strange shower cupboard in my daughter’s bedroom into some huge storage cupboards (making good the surrounding area), building corner bookshelves in my husband’s study. And creating a storage unit to hide our TV/Console items! On initial meeting, Toby took time to understand our requirements, creating excellent drawings which brought these to life. I got to select the finish in farrow & ball paint to match our rooms, they look fabulous! The products were made and installed with great efficiency. Toby and his team were perfectionists on site and didn’t complete the project until they/us were 100% happy. We would highly recommend his services.

Toby and his colleague Aaron replaced all of our old internal doors with 13 new oak doors which have transformed the look of our house. Toby was very responsive to questions before the work and was the only provider I asked to quote who responded quickly in fact within 24 hours. He suggested slightly different doors to those I proposed which while of the same quality were slightly cheaper. The work was undertaken in a very professional manner and we are very pleased with the outcome and in fact are considering having further work done by Militao Carpentry. They were happy working round our inquisitive dogs, protected the carpets, cleared up at the end of each day (the work took a week) and were always polite and flexible. I would happily recommend.

Have used Rob before for building bespoke wardrobes and now engaged him to create under stairs storage. Rob designed and built some bespoke bedside units, a dressing table and chest of drawers for our bedroom. Rob was superb to work with from start to finish - he had great ideas and made the units work in a really difficult space in our room with a sloping ceiling. The standard of work is an extremely high quality and we are really delighted with everything. Rob is a complete perfectionist and so every last detail is perfect. I highly recommend Rob to anyone looking for high quality work completed in their house.

We have engaged MS Joinery on two occasions. Martin designed and built a shaker style fitted window seat with full height cupboards either side in the enhance hall of our listed cottage. The installation really makes an impression when people arrive at our home. Our new kitchen also looks fantastic with oak work tops fitted around curved corner units and an inset Belfast sink. Martin was punctual and the advice he gave was excellent. You know a tradesman really cares about his customers home when you see how well he clears up. Martin provided a quote for installing a new kitchen furniture and appliances and then delivered all aspects of the job including and scheduling plumbing, fixing walls and electric installation. Everyone working was polite, helpful and working hard to keep agreed work schedule. Nothing was too difficult too much effort and the site was left clean at the end of every working day. The final invoice was accurate and reflecting the initial quote. I have the kitchen I always wanted , they did amazing job, thank you.

Thomas and his team recently completed quite a lot of work in our house, including some very complex bespoke joinery e.g., a wine wall and whisky cabinet using a variety of materials. The quality of the work was very good, Thomas and his team are very thorough and have excellent attention to detail. They were also flexible and worked very well with our architect. As part of our full house renovation, we hired Tom and his company, Acorn Bespoke Carpentry and Joinery, to craft several custom pieces: a stunning oak front door, oak double garage doors, fully integrated understairs cupboards, and a beautifully designed oak mantlepiece for our fireplace. Before meeting Tom, we had spoken with a couple of other joinery companies. However, from the moment we met Tom, it was clear that he and Acorn Bespoke Carpentry were the perfect choice to handle all the key joinery work for our renovation project. Tom has a remarkable ability to put you at ease. He listened attentively to our ideas and ensured every aspect of the project was executed smoothly, thoughtfully, and with the utmost care. We have awarded Acorn practically all of the bespoke joinery work for our new home in Surrey, including a large study/library, boot room, laundry/utility room, cloak room, bathroom vanities, internal and external doors, two walk-in dressing rooms and another wardrobe. The result is stunning and we couldn't be happier. Thomas and his team produced top-grade furniture and installed them perfectly, tending to our every request and input with professionalism, respect and curtesy.
