Whole House Renovation Josh and his team renovated our whole house starting January 2024. We found his whole team to be reliable and highly professional. The initial quote was so detailed right down to the last screw! so we knew exactly what to expect from a money perspective. We wanted to be true to the period of the property and Josh and Ayden's attention to detail was excellent. The whole team were incredibly reliable, always turned up when they said they would and worked really hard throughout the days. The team on site were very respectful that we were living there throughout the build and were quiet and well mannered (which is important with children on site). They had the greatest respect for the neighbours as well, always making sure they knew what was going on and addressing any of their concerns. The trades that Josh works with are also highly qualified and a pleasure to work with. Overally, we would highly recommend Josh and his team.

We are thrilled with our new space. Josh was brilliant from start to finish. He gave us so much time at tender and was very patient with all our questions. The whole team were a pleasure to have around. Building projects are not an easy process but they all worked around us and our dog with respect. It was really appreciated. Josh and team completed a large kitchen / dining room conversion project for us. Work was completed perfectly, on time, on budget and Josh remained on call for any minor snagging for months after having finished - not that there were many things but he made sure everything was working as expected and as it should be. Mick has been completing numerous carpentry jobs during our house renovation from hanging new internal doors to bespoke cabinets. Mick puts a lot of time into ensuring your idea becomes a reality and offers his opinion to best guide you along the way. Mick is very polite, punctual and the quality of his work is exceptional. It has been a pleasure using his services and I would highly recommend him.

I have been working with Mick on the renovation of my property for over a year and he has carried out many projects including panelling in my daughter’s bedroom and alcove cupboards and floating shelves in a playroom. However, Mick’s assistance in transforming our hallway deserves a review on its own! After being badly let down by a local building company, Mick came in and helped us create the hallway of dreams! We consulted with Mick about how best to create the hallway we wanted and worked together to create designs and source products. Mick completed a new hallway cabinet and matching shoe cupboard, panelling, picture rail, skirting boards and internal doors. The results are outstanding and has completely transformed our hallway. Mick is incredibly talented as well as a true professional and we have already recommended him to all of our local friends.

Michael has helped us to update and transform many rooms in our house, adding much needed storage solutions for the bathroom, washer and dryer cupboard, staircase and alcove cupboards. His attention to detail and problem solving is first class, so much so that we’re already booked in for some fitted wardrobes in 2x rooms.

Mick completely transformed our garage into an excellent usable space. We consulted Mick at the outset of the project and he project managed from start to finish including organising separate contractors for plastering and electrics. Mick also provided advice on potential designs for the garage storage and helped with the procurement of products for the storage. Mick is always incredibly responsive, diligent, a perfectionist in his work. He is also incredibly tidy in a workspace! We can’t recommend Mick enough!

I asked sean if he could pop by my house once again as I had a vision but didn’t know if it would work or not. Sean came up with a bespoke design, hand built & completed my fitted storage units to perfection. Would highly recommend and will be using Sean again for future projects.

Sean has done a great job designing and updating my staircase. It looks smart and modern and is safer for my little ones. He worked quickly and fitted us in at short notice. I would 100% recommend.

We spent a long time researching across many kitchen providers for our "forever" kitchen to be installed in our new extension, and are absolutely delighted with our decision to use Boxhill. John and Ash were fabulous in guiding us through the design and different decisions, and the quality of the workmanship, paint and fitting has exceeded our expectations - beyond value for money. I would thoroughly recommend Boxhill, and have in fact used them again for our bedroom wardrobes, with I think is testament enough.

Las completely fixed and restored our wooden bay windows and installed our wooden garage doors. His craftsmanship is excellent plus he got all the jobs finished exactly on time - as he said he would. Really pleased with all the work.

Laszlo installed new engineered wood flooring, releveled floor in one room, changed skirting boards and installed new doors for us. He did a great job, especially with the bay window and considering all doors needed adjusting due to the age of the building. Laszlo is on time, polite and tidy! He takes great care and pride in his work and we will use him again in future!

We asked Laszlo to repair our windowsill, repaint front of the house and clean pvc. We’d never used him before but decided to after seeing the good reviews. He first came round to visit the house to discuss the plan. I liked his attitude and clarity. He then came back in a few weeks when he was next free. True to his word he took 2 days to complete the job. It was done to a very high quality standard, we’re really pleased with his work. It was also a reasonable price. Very personable and good communication. So satisfying when you find a carpenter / handyman who you can trust. Will definitely use Laszlos services in the future. 5 stars. Thanks!

Lazlo did a fantastic job fitting our new kitchen and we are very happy with the result. He was able to finish the job in a very short time, working even in the weekends. His skills and experience were incredibly valuable and we trusted his advice all along the way. We have been using Lazlo on other project and we are definitely planning on using his services for other work on the house.

Giovanni just fitted my Howdens kitchen which included taking out a wall. He was brilliant. He is incredibly hard working and works to a high quality. Issues were discussed and resolved quickly. Unlike many in this trade he put his customers wants first. We were actually sorry the project was over and had to say goodbye! Thoroughly recommend.

Focus Carpentry (Luke) are a fantastic little Gem of a tradesperson to keep in your armoury. Luke communicated well with us throughout the duration of his work and it was completed, on time and on budget (his prices were well bellow competitive quotes). Luke is a master of his trade in my opinion. He cared about the works that he did for us and was a pleasure to have around the house I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Luke and the services that he provides. Luke did an excellent job of fixing a new internal door and realigning another door that was not closing properly. Luke also helped fix a pillar in the porch area as well as mounting security devices in my home. We are very pleased with the quality of Luke's work, his friendliness and willingness to take on last minute requests, all at reasonable rates. We hope to use him again and would recommend him without hesitation.

Marcio and his father-in-law did a fantastic job putting in some wardrobes in two rooms and flexible hanging/shelves in my converted attic walk-in wardrobe. The finished products look lovely and they built most of it off-site, so only entailed 3.5 days of disruption at home. They are nice guys and tidy workers, leaving the place immaculate each evening. We had a fantastic experience with Marcio and his team! It is rare to come across a company that is highly skilled, reliable, and trustworthy. They built and fitted new wardrobes, custom-made 2 alcove bookcases and several shelving units, repaired the staircase and built custom-made under-stairs storage. Moreover, their painter repaired internal walls and painted the entire house, he did an amazing job as well. I'm so glad we went for this company - they are perfectionists and their work is done to a very high standard. What I really appreciate is that they go above and beyond and communicate with you throughout the process: They send photos with updates, they ask questions to make sure they do the job exactly how you want it to be done, and they are thinking outside the box when something gets tricky. On top of that, they are reasonably priced and will suggest the most affordable option for you whenever possible. The moment you employ them they are on the ball, no chasing from our side ever. They are also super lovely to deal with, even our neighbours mentioned that everyone was very polite and quiet. I wouldn't hire anyone else for carpentry or decorating work.
