Stephen fitted laminate flooring and trims in two of our bedrooms. Very professional, explained progress and left the rooms spotless after work. Very happy with the finish and the work carried out. Would highly recommend.

Matthew and his team designed our master bedroom and dressing room wardrobes. From the initial meeting with Matthew at his workshop, to the completion, the whole team have been professional, timely, efficient and friendly. The process has been very smooth with information regarding installation dates being communicated frequently. Upon completion of the wardrobes, we decided that we needed an understair cupboard and Matthew obliged! All of the furniture looks very in keeping with our cottage, is of excellent quality and finish. We cannot recommend Matthew Roberts Carpentry highly enough.

In writing this review, I believe I will echo the extremely positive position of all Matthew's customers. Matthew engaged with us to design and build custom furniture for a dining-room/study. Throughout our engagement, Matthew's needs analysis, design recommendations and attention to detail were superb. The team worked collaboratively with us throughout the build and installation in a friendly professional manner. We are delighted and cannot recommend Matthew and his team enough.

Matthew has been really supportive and patient as we went through the design process for our bookcase. Visiting his workshop and going through all of the options was really useful and helped us understand exactly what we were after, especially seeing where the work would be done. Now the bookcase has been installed we could not be happier and the quality of the work is excellent. I would whole heartedly recommended Matthew for his carpentry.

Ollie and the team were superb from start to finish. At the beginning we needed some help with the design of our outside office. Ollie was great and sat down and sketched out a few ideas with us. He followed up quickly and stayed in contact on a regular basis, before providing us with a detailed, clear quote shortly after our first meeting. During the build it was great to have him and the team on site, very respectful, professional and all round it was a pleasure. Any decisions/discussions during the build were open and easy, we always felt like we knew our options and the pros & cons of each. The whole project was on time if not early and even came in under budget. The quality of the finished office is excellent, so good in fact we've booked him in for another job already. Thanks again!!

Ollie and team built a great looking, quality, home garden office room/building. Built to a really quality spec that will last a long time, this professional team completed the build on time, and price. Ollie was flexible where I wanted to add some small extras and increase the size a little; a true bespoke build. I cannot recommend Oliver Smith Carpentry more highly. He and his team are part of a new generation of professionals - fastidious, careful, super-professional and serious about their work, unquestionably trustworthy, always cleaning up at the end of the day. We just wanted our garage converted into a useable space, what we now have is a fabulous room - thoroughly insulated, fireproof, airy, pleasant and handed over niggle free. It's a pleasure to be in there. All through the process (only 3 weeks) Oliver and his team worked hard, always on time, always calm and responsive to our requests and last-minute changes of mind. I just wish we had more projects for him to do as I'd book him like a shot. (and, truthfully, this is an unbiased review - we did not know Oliver before this job).

I found Fine Design through a recommendation from a friend and I'm so pleased I did. We had a few problems so it wasn't just a straight forward bathroom replacement, we had water damage and a wall that needed to be removed to get the bath out, Adem and his team delt with it quickly and efficiently. They kept me informed all the way through, I had chosen a sink but when it came I didnt like it, this was no problem, it went back and by the next day I had one I loved. The quality of the bathroom and the work is brilliant and the price was incredibly reasonable against other quotes. I had ordered blinds separately from Fine Designs that didn't arrive while they were doing the job so Adem very kindly came back to fit them for me.

Ben and Craig have just completely refurbished our kitchen and it looks amazing. They tick all the boxes that you could want ticked when looking for building professionals. They are considerate, tidy and their eye for detail is brilliant with nothing seeming to be too much trouble. Ben and Craig undertook the development work of converting two of our farm buildings into a shop and butchery and installed a new toilet and shower block for our campsite. This was a large development project; 4 months in duration, with ambitious deadlines. With our limited knowledge and experience of undertaking such a project, Ben and Craig were integral to the planning process and ensuring that our ideas translated into something that would work in practice. Ben and Craig dealt with all of the challenges of our old buildings without fuss or difficulty. In fact there was a plentiful supply of constructive ideas to deal with any issues arising, cost effectiveness and future proofing the development. At every stage of our project Ben and Craig’s communication was timely and showed consideration for pressures on our own time. They took on most of the liaising with the building control inspector and were proactive in working with the company that undertook the ground works. Something that was of great value to us was the planning and consideration shown by Ben and Craig to allow us to continue to run our business at our busiest time of year: as well as working around other activities that were happening on the farm. The work that Ben and Craig have done is a key part of the future success of our business and so far our customer feedback has been excellent. We cannot recommend them highly enough; yes they are busy, but they go out of their way to ensure an all round top class job; before, during and after the project.

Ben & Craig from Howard and Sturt make a brilliant team - efficient, hard working, tidy and professional. Any other trades people involved in the project have also delivered the same high standards. They have done a superb job fitting our new kitchen as well as carrying out some work in the garden (which included decking and creating a bench) and we are delighted with both. They offer very competitive prices without compromising on standard and have delivered excellent attention to detail throughout. Rafal repaired my dining room chairs which were failing at the joints. His work was wholly satisfactory, on quality, price and promptness.

Outside the house, Rafal made and installed 2 doors with framework. The doors and frameworks are sturdy, secure and fit well. Rafal is pleasant and friendly and cleared up well afterwards. His standard of work is high and we would be pleased to use him again.

Rafal is working with a clear budget. No unexpected things are happening in the planning. The result is what we wanted. Rafal made our vision come true! Thanks Rafal.
