Martin and the team supporting him did an excellent job in removing our old kitchen and replacing it with a new one which they built and fitted. Martin was extremely helpful and professional. He was skillful in his joinery and very responsive to our requests as well as the challenges presented by the uneven walls and floors. As well as excellent quality, we are confident that Martin gave us a very reasonable quote for the work and we are happy to confirm he worked to that initial quote. We wouldn’t hesitate to commission more work from him or recommend him to others.

Martin provided a quote for installing a new kitchen furniture and appliances and then delivered all aspects of the job including and scheduling plumbing, fixing walls and electric installation. Everyone working was polite, helpful and working hard to keep agreed work schedule. Nothing was too difficult too much effort and the site was left clean at the end of every working day. We got in touch with Toby having followed his work on social media. We had reached the end of a large renovation project and needed some bespoke carpentry items to fit some quirky spaces - fitted ‘open style’ wardrobes in our dresser maximising space, converting a strange shower cupboard in my daughter’s bedroom into some huge storage cupboards (making good the surrounding area), building corner bookshelves in my husband’s study. And creating a storage unit to hide our TV/Console items! On initial meeting, Toby took time to understand our requirements, creating excellent drawings which brought these to life. I got to select the finish in farrow & ball paint to match our rooms, they look fabulous! The products were made and installed with great efficiency. Toby and his team were perfectionists on site and didn’t complete the project until they/us were 100% happy. We would highly recommend his services.

Toby has done further work for us adding hooks mounted on oak to the back of a door. Super job again. Toby did a top job, replacing all our bedroom doors. We're very pleased with the doors and the quality of the work is excellent. We will definitely use Militao again when we need bespoke carpentry completed.

Toby designed and fitted some beautiful cupboards for us. We Have been using them for 6 months now, can tell the quality is good- absolutely no problems. Brilliant communication and also allowed us to change the design (from shaker style to a more traditional finish) at last minute which didn’t affect the final quote.

I stumbled across Hammerwood by accident and the builders works package they completed was competitive, professional and finished on time. There were issues that couldnt be foreseen and a quick amicable agreement was reached. There were mistakes made by the architect I chose however Lee and Grant of Hammerwood ensured that the project still finished on time and budget.
