Toby designed and fitted some beautiful cupboards for us. We Have been using them for 6 months now, can tell the quality is good- absolutely no problems. Brilliant communication and also allowed us to change the design (from shaker style to a more traditional finish) at last minute which didn’t affect the final quote.

Toby and his colleague Aaron replaced all of our old internal doors with 13 new oak doors which have transformed the look of our house. Toby was very responsive to questions before the work and was the only provider I asked to quote who responded quickly in fact within 24 hours. He suggested slightly different doors to those I proposed which while of the same quality were slightly cheaper. The work was undertaken in a very professional manner and we are very pleased with the outcome and in fact are considering having further work done by Militao Carpentry. They were happy working round our inquisitive dogs, protected the carpets, cleared up at the end of each day (the work took a week) and were always polite and flexible. I would happily recommend.

Toby has done further work for us adding hooks mounted on oak to the back of a door. Super job again. Toby did a top job, replacing all our bedroom doors. We're very pleased with the doors and the quality of the work is excellent. We will definitely use Militao again when we need bespoke carpentry completed.

Sean and his team at SL Carpentry have mastered the art of making life easy- they do exactly what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it and at a competitive price. Sean recently fitted a loft hatch in our home which completely transformed the use ability of our loft (and looks great!) Will be using again!

Luke also helped fix a pillar in the porch area as well as mounting security devices in my home. Neal made me a long wanted under stairs cupboard and it does everything I wanted - holds 3 sets of golf clubs, 5 people’s shoes, laptops, monitors and printer . We looked at companies that specialise in under stairs cupboards but their modules did not suit our needs. It is totally bespoke and holds everything that was previously all around my hallway behind closed doors! Neal is a very efficient, neat and tidy worker who produced a very high quality product. I would definitely recommend him if you are looking for some carpentry or joinery work.

We first employed Neil to build a bespoke storage unit in our utility room. Neil was fantastic. He was great at translating our ideas into paper and worked quickly and efficiently. We were so happy with the work, we asked him to build bespoke wardrobes for our master and second bedroom. He has done a brilliant job and the end product exceeded our expectations. Ben and Craig totally transformed our house. They worked on two big projects for us, firstly moving walls and installing a family bathroom, and secondly knocking through walls and creating a new kitchen/diner and shower room. Ben and Craig undertook the development work of converting two of our farm buildings into a shop and butchery and installed a new toilet and shower block for our campsite. This was a large development project; 4 months in duration, with ambitious deadlines. With our limited knowledge and experience of undertaking such a project, Ben and Craig were integral to the planning process and ensuring that our ideas translated into something that would work in practice. Ben and Craig dealt with all of the challenges of our old buildings without fuss or difficulty. In fact there was a plentiful supply of constructive ideas to deal with any issues arising, cost effectiveness and future proofing the development. At every stage of our project Ben and Craig’s communication was timely and showed consideration for pressures on our own time. They took on most of the liaising with the building control inspector and were proactive in working with the company that undertook the ground works. Something that was of great value to us was the planning and consideration shown by Ben and Craig to allow us to continue to run our business at our busiest time of year: as well as working around other activities that were happening on the farm. The work that Ben and Craig have done is a key part of the future success of our business and so far our customer feedback has been excellent. We cannot recommend them highly enough; yes they are busy, but they go out of their way to ensure an all round top class job; before, during and after the project.
