A very pleasant place to have a snack-y lunch with a good touch to the food and drink there. They also gave my 2 dogs a puppachino!

I have been using this cafe for a few months now and if you are looking for a quirky venue with fabulous food and drinks and lovely staff you need look no further. This cafe is dog friendly but only suitable for small well behaved pets. Whatever you choose to eat will be fresh and delicious and served by staff who really care about your experience. Tables can be reserved. I really can't fault it . Our afternoon tea for 3 vegetarians was wonderful and the nicest I've had. Served on modern stands with unlimited tea or Americano coffee and a £1 add on for any other drinks. There are toilets but these are not suitable for disabled customers although there are in the town. A big thank you to all the lovely staff and we'll be back very soon.

The Rose Room is one of my favourite spots in Reigate. The environment makes it perfect to catch up with friends and a great place to do work between studies! One of my friends recommended The Rose Room to me a long time ago, and I haven’t looked back since! I must admit, I hadn’t been in for a while until the sun popped out today, and I treated myself to one of my favourites on the menu (Hazelnut Iced Coffee). Ever since my first visit, I have brought along many people to experience the pure happiness of The Rose Room. The staff are always attentive, caring and friendly, catering for everyone’s needs. Thank you for being an amazing addition to Reigate high street! (I have attached photos I have taken in the past).

I’ve been going to The Chapel for many years now and i can safely say it is the best coffee shop I’ve ever been to! 😁Roberto, the owner, is so friendly and always remembers you and your order. The service from other staff have always been wonderful as well. I am yet to try an iced latte that is as amazing as a Chapel iced latte! Having slowly converted all my family to becoming regulars, I couldn’t recommend it enough 🥰

Been here a few times on and off and so now know The Chapel is consistently top quality! Ingredients are always fresh and the foods I've eaten have always been super tasty and arrived really quickly (even when obviously busy!). Service is always rammed with smiles and warm welcomes. Yet to have the focaccia bread, but had lunch envy today when I saw someone else having it....next time!! oh and the coffee, amazing! I only take it black and the taste was awesome. And last of all...the loos are always clean! You can always tell how well run a place is by the things one doesn't readily see 😎😎

Reeeally good food & coffee. My partner and I both had the hummus, aubergine & pomegranate open sandwich and were so pleased with it. Lovely staff & cosy atmosphere, we will be back!

Beryl & Pegs Coffee, Tea & Sandwich Bar
17 Holmesdale Rd, Reigate RH2 0BA, UK | Cafe P: 01737 479887
Rating: 4.7 (307) Price Level:
Nestled on a quiet corner of Reigate, this local cafe is nothing short of magical. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with the warm, inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the gentle hum of happy chatter. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort, with soft lighting, eclectic decor, and plenty of cozy nooks to settle into. The coffee? Simply outstanding. Their expertly crafted lattes and velvety cappuccinos rival anything you’d find in a major city. The baristas are true artists, adorning each cup with beautiful latte art that almost (almost!) makes you hesitate to take that first sip. The cafe also offers a wide variety of teas, smoothies, and creative seasonal specials, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The food menu is equally impressive, featuring locally sourced ingredients that highlight the best of the area. Their avocado toast is a masterpiece, and the homemade pastries — particularly the buttery croissants and decadent brownies — are worth every indulgent bite. They also cater to a range of dietary preferences, with vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options that are just as delicious as their traditional offerings. What truly sets this cafe apart, though, is the staff. They’re incredibly friendly, attentive, and passionate about what they do. It’s clear they take pride in creating a space where everyone feels welcome, whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee or spending an afternoon working or catching up with friends. This cafe is more than just a place to grab a drink or bite to eat — it’s a cornerstone of the community. If you’re in Reigate, do yourself a favour and visit. You’ll leave with a happy heart, a satisfied palate, and plans to return again and again.

Beautiful, bustling, friendly and home cooked. Just love it. Sadly no salt beef hash today - but the scotch egg was awesome as was the feta, spinach and salmon muffin. I will bring friends and family here.

LOVE Beryl and Pegs! Superb food, service with a smile and excellently sourced produce. They serve a proper full English with bubble & fried slice - but plenty of sourdough, avocado & poached eggs etc if that’s your thing. Great, hearty sandwiches & homemade cakes too. First class all the way! You can walk in but … Very popular, so worth booking a table. Highly recommend!

Recently came here for a takeaway coffee and sandwich. The coffee is lovely and the Bacon, Brie and Cranberry sandwich is amazing, very cheesy and very tasty. Quick and friendly service and reasonably priced. Would recommend and will come again

Junction 8 Cafe

Rating: 4.5 (356) Price Level:
**Junction 8 Café Review** Nestled just off the M25, Junction 8 Café is a hidden gem that offers much more than just a quick stop for refreshments. The café boasts stunning views over beautifully maintained lawned areas, offering a perfect backdrop for a relaxing break. What sets Junction 8 apart is the staff, their thoughtful touch of providing deck chairs, allowing you to fully enjoy the serene surroundings. It's a simple yet delightful way to unwind, especially after a long journey or a hike along the North Downs Way. One of the highlights of this charming spot is their remarkably affordable tea—easily the cheapest I’ve found in London or anywhere along the North Downs Way. Despite the low price, the quality is top-notch, making it an unbeatable deal. Whether you're a traveler in need of a peaceful break or a local looking for a picturesque spot to enjoy a cup of tea, Junction 8 Café is the perfect destination. With excellent service, stunning views, and unbeatable prices, it’s a must-visit for anyone passing through or exploring the area.

I'm sorry I have only given 4 stars for atmosphere but it was drizzling, grey and misty when we visited. However we were very impressed and look forward to returning again soon. A perfect place to start and finish exploring Reigate Hill. The hot chocolate and food were recommended and that's why we visited. Can't wait to work my way through the menu as there is an excellent selection. See you soon on a sunny day next time.

Far above average café, with an incredible view and surrounding area. Access on foot requires a bit of hiking, but it’s well worth the view, being right next to Reigate Fort, the B-17G crash memorial, the sun dial, and the Royal Alexandra Albert school ponds. The selection of food is wide, though the same cannot be said for the vegan options, the selection remains sufficient. It is great to remember that not all vegan options are shown on the menu, such as the vegan sausage roll, which I recommend after the inevitable hike!

I’ve been coming here for years. The view is incredible. On a clear day you can see the sea. The food’s very good and the service and friendliness is even better! You’re on the North Down Way here. This is dog walking country to be sure. There are multiple walks from level to quite hilly. If you cross over the motorway to Margery Woods, which is lovely, you can connect to what feels like a typical Scottish golf course, Walton Heath. Lots of gorse and heather. Or Banstead Heath. All very pretty, especially in spring. Lots of pasture and horses abound. I did the millennium circuit today. 2.24 miles. I’ve been doing these walks for 30 years now and I never grow tired of it❣️

I love this place. The staff are so friendly. They’ve got my regular order without me having to ask now. Fantastic views. Wonderful place to stop for a walk or just hot drink. The coffee here is literally the best I’ve ever tasted.
