“Really fantastic little cafe that serves some excellent coffee and has some amazing looking bakes. The cafe is very small. Not many seats inside but it feels intimate. The coffee is really the standout. Excellent cup and great flavour. Probably one of the nicest cafes in the town!”

“A nice cafe within a very nice building. It is popular with mums and kids so it can get quite chaotic sometimes. It is a shame that they have very limited gluten free options. One Gluten-free banana cake was on offer. It was a shame that they only serve teas in take away cups even when you drink in the cafe”

“Lovely dog friendly cafe in a beautiful village with lots of outdoor seating. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. They have a good selection of lunch options. The only critique we would make is that the coffee and walnut cake had little to no coffee in it. But lunch was delicious.”

“This place is THE friendliest spot in Blackheath. And it is 100% the chaps who work here. Only staying for a couple of weeks, so can’t really speak for all of blackheath, but these guys seem to bring a smile to the faces of so many London commuters (is there a harder challenge in the world?!) Go say hi and grab a coffee! Location note: it’s actually on the (London-bound) platform, but there’s no ticket barrier. So you could always nip down off the high street!”

“Spur of the moment decision to visit as wanted a cooked breakfast. Staff were really lovely and found us a table straight away. Service was quick and the food was really good. Only small negative was that the cafe was really cold but this too be expected as it's in an old barn and it was zero degrees outside.”

“A great choice of spot in Blackheath Standard. The food is nice and cooked fresh, could do with being served on a plate, cutting toasted sourdough in a bowl is asking for trouble. The staff are very friendly and helpful. To help the atmosphere of the cafe, it could do with some soft furnishing, just takes one happy chatty table or a vocal baby to dominate the space. So bring your noise cancelling headphones. Don’t that put you off though, it’s just something the owners should consider.”

“- Variety of coffee options, including café Americano, milkway latte, and Irish frappe mocha. - Hazelnut truffle latte was too sweet for my taste. - Menu offers classic English breakfast, waffles, and avocado toast. - Gluten-free options available. - Lovely and cosy decoration. - Sad that Pets not allowed inside the coffee shop 😔”

Manor Farm Tea Room

“Stopped here on a charity cycle ride from London to Poole. What an amazing pitstop for 15 minutes. Internally, the cafe is incredibly cosy, with a quintessential English feel to it, in a quiet, bucolic setting. When it comes to cakes, they offer all the classics, and by the taste of the granola bar I ordered, I reckon they have the recipes bang on. I also noticed a wide selection of teas, which I will have to try next time. Definitely worth stopping by if you are in the area and “gasping for that cuppa!””
