Didn't realise its a vegetarian/ vegan restaurant. The meal was really good. Pineapple fried rice , Beef pho , all really tasty and good portion. The staff were friendly, polite and accomidating. . Highly recommended . PS: They also have vegan and GF free options and bubble milk teas ( for take away). Lots of local stopby to get the bubble teas.

I celebrated my birthday here. First time experience. We'll be going back again. All round tasty vegan food as drinks. Recommend nil chicken wings. Very good portions and attentive waitress. It's a jewel having this restaurant on the Southside of the river.

From the pleasant shop front of Buddha Taste and fragrance to delight in every way, from the wonderful friendly service of the graceful staff, the pleasing decor of far away places in Vietnam, and the intoxicating aroma of delicious satisfying flavours of the nurturing food, just the right amount in the dishes to feel full, but not stuffed, this is probably the best tasting restaurant in town, haven't tried every other restaurant, but this is highest on my list and nowhere is to far to travel from to enjoy an amazing feast here. You just have to try it for yourself!

It was amazing to see such an extensive vegan and vegetarian menu. The food was wonderful, and was very reasonably priced. My only criticism is that delivery drivers were constantly walking in and out collecting orders, and it took us a while to get the bill despite being the only ones eating in.

This place is THE friendliest spot in Blackheath. And it is 100% the chaps who work here. Only staying for a couple of weeks, so can’t really speak for all of blackheath, but these guys seem to bring a smile to the faces of so many London commuters (is there a harder challenge in the world?!) Go say hi and grab a coffee! Location note: it’s actually on the (London-bound) platform, but there’s no ticket barrier. So you could always nip down off the high street!

I come here every morning and the guys that work here make this place. Super friendly, knows every regular, their order and the train they need to catch. Always nice to have a chat and more pleasant commute! I would 100% recommend (and crowd fund if they ever wanted to make their own shop in the village).

Friendly staff that make coffee quicker than the x10 staff in most coffee shops. They always have time to ask how you are and are not phased by the commuter rush. You can see queues of 10 people get sorted in 2mins. Best service in Blackheath!

Bangin! Breakfast sausage, egg, bacon, mushroom baguette with ketchup and English mustard. £5.50 worth every penny!

I'm a biker and have been here many times before. This is the first time though since the refurb. I may add, if you're hoping to meet other bikers there, 11:30 on a Friday afternoon isn't the time to go:) The food was great, very reasonable (better than saying cheap;) and the staff were very friendly. Very quick service too.

Sad that it's no longer open 24/7 following the crash, but it's still as good as it ever was, and with happy, smiling service only last Saturday :)

My favourite place in Blackheath to get a coffee and Eggs with Soldiers on those mornings where you just can’t manage it all. The menu is simple but they do everything they offer well and the coffee may just be the best around. As you can see from the photo, I finished every last crumb 😅

Went for dinner for the first time tonight. Amazing selection of dishes and something very different to what you would usually get. Nice to see they get local produce from the local butcher and fishmonger. The new chef they got definitely got some big plans for this place. Would definitely go back.

We went on Easter Sunday for a set menu roast. It was excellent! Beautifully cooked and served and good value for money. Would be great if they did this more often!

We went for lunch and what a wonderful place. Staff lovely, attentive, welcoming and very friendly. The food was fantastic. Very tasty and beautifully presented. Location by the river is a great addition to Guildford and very good wheelchair accessibility. There is a large car park right next door , so parking is not a problem. This is a place I would definitely visit again.

This is a great location and a well designed space but …. It was unclear how to get service and there were a lot of leftovers from last night on some tables - including ash tray (shell) on the floor. I only had coffee which was very good and will definitely return but needs more focus.

First date with my wife for 7 months due to her not feeling well. We had a great meal. I had the T-bone steak, and she had the squid ink pasta followed with a lemon cheesecake to share.

Love this place, great local restaurant with delicious steak and wine. I particularly like the Argentinian style black pudding (morcilla).

Great coffee and very quick and friendly service. Got dropped off here by a friend to then catch a train from just around the country. Felt very welcomed by conter staff . Lovely simple Bacon sandwich freshly cooked. This place is immaculate! Great place for breakfast before getting on the train.

Lovely gem of a bakery and cafe in Blackheath. A really cosy and quite spacious cafe space at the back, which I didn't realise was there as I was passing by before I first came in. Lots of delicious sandwiches and cakes, definitely recommend.

Katerina was incredibly supportive of our music festival in Blackheath and our volunteers enjoyed delicious bakes every day. We are extremely grateful to her and the wider Gail’s team for giving back to the community and doing so with warmth and generosity, making the event even more special.
