Fantastic local cafe! It served great locally roasted coffee, excellent brunch dishes, I had the Mexican Benedict which came with chorizo, eggs and avocado. All the food is really delicious and they have some great juices too, our favourite is the glowing goddess. The staff are always friendly and are really good with kids too, definitely worth a visit!

I visited this café with a few friends and loved everything about it—the aesthetic, the coffee, the staff, and the service! I ordered the rainbow pancakes, and they were absolutely delicious. Such a delightful experience! Highly recommend! 🥰

I can’t recommend The Avocado Café enough! I’ve been here multiple times, and each visit has been an absolute delight. The service is consistently over the top—every member of the staff is so friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s such a refreshing atmosphere! As a university student, I really appreciate the perfect balance between quality and affordability. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making it feel like such a treat without breaking the bank. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or hanging out with friends, this place is a gem.

My wife and I have gone here a few times a week (at least!) ever since we moved to the area almost a year ago and have been through just about the whole menu. The coffee is beautiful, we love the food, and the atmosphere and friendly staff make it a pleasure to dine there.

We had a lovely brunch at the Avocadium the hot chocolate was the perfect temperature and the cappuccino was not too bitter at all. Breakfasts were great and very filling we also got an almond croissant which was delicious and served WARM !!! Rating: 4.9 (33) Price Level:
Been here a few times since it reopened as Coffee & Dolce. The staff are super friendly. Great coffee and delicious cakes. It’s always been nice inside but they’ve just spruced up the outside seating area now too.
Rating: 5 / 5
This is hands down the best coffee I’ve ever tasted! Every cup is brewed to perfection, and even the chocolate they sprinkle on top is absolutely amazing—it adds such a delightful touch. The staff are always incredibly friendly, welcoming, and make the experience even better. If you’re looking for exceptional coffee and outstanding service, this is the place to go!

I've just had a lovely couple of hours in this small but friendly coffeehouse on the Richmond Road. Its perfect if, like me, you're working nearby but you've turned up two and a half hours early and so need a spot to relax. They play classical music softly in the background and whilst I'm not really a big classical fan, it was really relaxing and the food and coffee was splendid. 5 stars, next time i'm in Kingston, I'll be back.

Got our first bubble teas from Coffee & Dolce. I'm definitely coming back, staff is super friendly. Lovely atmosphere.

Defo a hidden gem of a cafe in Kingston upon Thames and I was blown away by the quality of their coffee. The coffee beans they use are top-notch - I could taste the difference in every sip. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and It's clear that the owners take pride in what they do and are passionate about providing the best coffee experience possible. Overall, I highly recommend this cafe to anyone who appreciates a great cup of coffee and exceptional service.

Honestly the best place for coffee and a bite to eat! It can sometimes get busy but you never feel ignored and you always feel welcome. I deffo recommend their roast dinners on a Sunday which are super filling and generous portions. It’s a family friendly, warm and delicious a great spot in Hampton wick.

Great little cozy cafe near the bridge. One of the best brunch places I’ve ever had. We can twice in 3 days. Would be back again and recommend.
Rating: 5 / 5
Really enjoyed eating here. Really cute place with good music in the background (low enough to have a nice conversation!) and nice courteous friendly staff. Would highly recommend. We had the chicken souvlaki and French toast. Both were really good and full of flavor
Rating: 5 / 5
This is a hidden gem that's missing from Kingston, worth crossing that bridge for. Fantastic all round, food, service an ambience. Not the biggest portions but definitely high quality ingredients, amazing eggs, bacon and sausage. I would say their coffee was very good too, far better than most coffee shops.

Argonaut Coffee

Rating: 5 (57) Price Level:
A really wonderful spot! I hadn't been to the Argonaut Coffee Truck before but was delighted to see a new specialty coffee spot open in Kingston. It's a great spot on the river and has a really nice atmosphere. The coffee is excellent - from batch brew to carefully crafted latte art I've always had an exceptional experience here! There are pastries and savoury items available to go along with the great coffee too. There are options for different diets too and I'm sure George and crew will help you find something you love. I'm excited to see how the shop develops as it is still quite new. I'm looking forward to iced coffee outside in the Summer. Please give it a try! Can't recommend enough. ✨ ☕️
Rating: 5 / 5
Great coffee and view. I drink decaf and great to be able to get a good quality and tasty coffee. George and his team are very friendly. Lovely to be able to sit by the river.

Argonaut Coffee is a true gem in Kingston! George, who runs the place, is the friendliest face in the neighbourhood, and the coffee is consistently fantastic. It's the perfect spot to start your day or take a midday break, with a cosy vibe that makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere is welcoming, and it's clear George has built something special for the community. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area :)

Marna Coffee

Rating: 4.8 (107) Price Level:
Amazing Coffee and Warm, Friendly Service! I absolutely love Marna! The coffee is always top-notch, with rich flavors and the perfect balance. But what truly makes this place special is the people. The staff are incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always go the extra mile to make your experience enjoyable. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick cup or sitting down to relax, they create such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for great coffee and even better service!
Rating: 5 / 5
The best coffee shop in London! I bumped into it on my run to Kingston. Met the owner inside and the staff at the counter were super nice to deal with. I had a mega muffin and a cortado coffee which was the best I’ve ever had. Good luck to the founder. I wish there are more coffee shops like this in the World, they bring happiness and create communities.
Rating: 5 / 5
Everyone already agrees on how great the coffee and atmosphere is, can’t add much there. But I can add onto how great the owner is. She’s created something amazing out of nothing. Marna makes you feel that you’re at home. No surprise it got featured as Kingston’s fave. These are still the early days of their journey and we are lucky to be part of it.

Rating: 4.9 (379) Price Level:
We had a beautiful breakfast and we even stayed for smoothies after. Perfect start to the day before having to go to hospital for the day x
Rating: 5 / 5
We had an amazing and healthy breakfast with a late and capuchino. We took the vegan breakfast and the avocado mash and toast. Service is very professional and friendly. The place is small but cosy and warm. I will surely recomend and come back onmy next visit to the area.
Rating: 5 / 5
Deer Cafe Bistro serves a very decent and sumptuous breakfast. It was my first time dining here with my work colleagues and we definitely enjoyed the food. Price was also worth the serving portions. Service time was pretty decent considering they cooked our orders fresh and right there and then. Definitely worth coming back in here.
Rating: 5 / 5
Breakfast was really good. I also liked that the bacon wasn’t as salty as is usually with most places. I have been to seemingly more up the scale places that didn’t serve breakfast nearly as good as this. The atmosphere and location was exactly what I was looking for, cozy and vibrant so I could just sit, read a book and just chill. I will definitely be coming back here.
Rating: 5 / 5
Came here with my partner and oh my god, I loved LOVED LOVED their medi & pancake breakfast, I usually never finish my food at any breakfast places because with classic English breakfast its so greasy so it gets too sickening for me (sorry not sorry) but this place grasped the right flavour profile! The pancake breakfast specifically? Literally the perfect harmony of sweet and savoury😍 As well as the service here, the staffs are very nice people, literally was such a great start of our day ! Defo coming back here again ✨

Rating: 4.8 (298) Price Level:
Lovely piece of Portugal in Kingston. Delicious food, coffee with great friendly service. Well stocked wine "library". I asked for a recommendation for a medium priced red wine to accompany a steak dinner. It wasn't too much trouble for the owner to recommend from the wide offerings, which was much appreciated.

Lovely little Portuguese cafe/deli. Had bacalhau com natas, lovely. Reminds me of homemade Portuguese cooking. Lovely coffee and Compal yum. Lovely atmosphere. Recommended!
Rating: 5 / 5
Absolutely great Portuguese cafe in Kingston. The staff were extremely welcoming and explained a variety of new products. The food was good, I had the Chorizo & Cheese sandwich and a Pastel De Nata. The person I went with had a Quiche and loved their coffee. Their Prices are fair too, 0 complaints. They also have a meat & cheese section, lots of Portuguese groceries to buy and a nice selection of high-quality wine. For more photos & videos, follow me on Instagram @oureatinglife_

My family and I were looking for a restaurant to go to on a Monday night and we ended up going to Mimoza. We didn’t have any reservations but we were given a table and the food was great. The quantity of food, service and atmosphere was great. We had chicken shish and the chef had really done justice. I would def recommend.

Beanberry Coffee Company

Rating: 4.6 (658) Price Level:
I went there for a few days in a row and the coffee was really consistently good. I had some food as well and their pastries were excellent especially the chocolate croissant. It’s already solid choice in Kingston for coffee probably the best I’ve been to. They also had decaf available.
Rating: 5 / 5
Always make sure to pop in for a coffee when I’m in Kingston, as I avoid the big chains and their bitter brews. Beanberry is lovely speciality coffee and they sell their beans too.
Rating: 5 / 5
I visited this cafe after doing a little bit of shopping and it was the right decision! The people behind the bar were really friendly and nice and were happy to help. The homemade brownie I had was delicious and perfectly sized and the general atmosphere was amazing! Would very much recommend.

Had a lovely visit for some lunch with my mum. We had some ciabatta with cheese and onion . Also a chicken tikka and cheese one. They were lovely and hot. Bread was great. I'd say the menu here is very small. Be great to have more filling options. Lots of cold drinks I'm a fridge. Good tea. Large space. Very open and clean. The staff very helpful and polite. Toilets clean and a little small. The entry has disabled access. I'm am area away from hustle and bustle. We will be back again thank you

Very nice quiet and relaxing place in Crown Arcade along Union Street, Kingston. Family owned restaurant. Very friendly owner and staff are great. The latte and smoothie is really good. Very highly recommended place to sit and chat with friends, family and colleague for a quick bite. Will be back soon.

Fortunella Café
8 Apple Market, Kingston upon Thames KT1 1JE, UK | Cafe P: 020 8549 8867
Rating: 4.6 (619) Price Level:
Perks: The place is really cute. Perfect if you want somewhere nice to drink coffee or socialize, the coffee is superb. Cons: food wasn't really good unfortunately. Had the vegetarian breakfast. Poached eggs and bread were nice but that's about it. Avocados and mushrooms were pretty sour-tasting.
Rating: 5 / 5
Just phantastic salads, very healthy food, great coffees and wonderful service! Very children friendly and the world‘s best Babychino!
Rating: 5 / 5
Really great place. Good service. Such good food- the salads are always a winner. Had the apple cake after friends insisting it was the best. They were not wrong.
Rating: 4 / 5
Nice little cafe with some great healthy options. Came here for lunch after shopping, seating available inside and out and the service was good, the waitress was very friendly and helpful. They have huge salad potions with different varieties daily. Freshly made juices and smoothies were nice as well and all very reasonably priced. It’s just off the main market area but still quite busy and has a nice casual chilled vibe.
Rating: 4 / 5
Fantastic service and a fairly good cooked English breakfast… just not sure about the seeds sprinkled on the eggs, the slight taste of vinegar in the mushrooms and the very murky coffee. I’ve definitely had worse but there’s better breakfast options in Kingston.
