The Best Golf Courses in Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom (2025)

Great little Course nestled within a beautiful housing estate. Course is very tight. And there is a lot of angles that need to be considered due to lots of tee boxes crossing one another and fairways etc. Course was in really good knick, however only ten holes were available to be played. The course was using temporary tee boxes and all players had to use mats and not play directly off the grass. I get they are looking after the course, but kind of defeats the idea of golf… The course plays well, but watch out for bunkers as they are everywhere and really steep to get out of. Greens were very well maintained and lighting fast for this time of year.

Coombe Wood Golf Club is a hidden gem in London! The greens are absolutely superb - some of the best I’ve played for a course of this size. The entire course was in fantastic condition, especially considering the recent dry weather. Everyone at the club was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The layout is quirky and challenging, making for a really enjoyable round. The bunkers are a surprising addition to a London course and add an extra dimension to the game. All in all, fantastic value for money and a must-play for golfers in the area.

Went for lunch with a friend. Nice food and good selection of drinks at very reasonable prices. Friendly service. A very relaxed place with good views.

Beautiful venue for every kind of event. 10 mins walk from central Kingston. Feels like your in middle of countryside, great views from events room. Opens out onto balcony overlooking golf course.

A dream come true! From start to finish, Clair and the team at Hampton court palace golf club were amazing! Clair helped us put together the perfect wedding package with short notice and limited budget! It was beyond perfect! And the staff were incredible, all my guests commented on how great the staff were so attentive and accommodating! And the food!! Literally the best wedding food I have ever had and so much of it! No one went hungry 🙈 we had lots of great feedback about the food! It really was the most amazing day and I cannot thank Clair and the team enough! You won’t be disappointed if you choose to host your event here! Highly recommended!!

Top end course minus the pretentious culture. David and his team have set the bar high. Staff are friendly and always happy to help. This was my first time playing and I will be going back. I booked an electric trolley and was allowed to upgrade to a buggy on arrival. One of the only courses I know that lets you reserve a trolley or buggy when booking online - very helpful! Hampton Court is a fun course in a unique location that offers good value and unrivalled opportunities to play golf. The course is good if a little short with lots of par 4s, the back 9 is particularly interesting where flat parkland gives way to a more rolling almost links like terrain with obscured greens and a variety of lies even on the fairway. Get Golfing have a great mission and have welcoming and helpful staff at all their courses. With the course open from 6 there is time for 9 holes, at a push 18, before starting with in the local area. Membership options are very flexible and offer great value as does off peak golf. £75 for a weekend round as a guest might be a bit steep but there probably aren't any local options for a better price.

Fantastic course, brilliant club house and staff just not too sure the caddie's were into it as much as the players 🤣

Newly refurbished clubhouse. Course has new drainage system, so less wet than in past years. A new chef. Haven't eaten there yet. Great friendly club.

A playable little gem in a London suburb near Kingston. The main feature is a pretty river that runs across several fairways. The women’s tees are fairly placed. Although it’s surrounded by houses mature trees make you feel secluded. Great halfway hut, too.

Great course, friendly staff, back nine much harder than the front.

Nice golf club with well maintained golf course. 2K for 5days membership is reasonsable as area within the London zone4. Very pleasant club house and bar. Highly recommended!
