I played this golf course today in a match against hankley common 28/5/23 and I have to say it is an unbelievable golf course! It’s the nicest and best course I have ever played. Very picturesque. The greens are like lighting , very true and roll beautifully. The fairways are gorgeous. The club house is also good.. nice food and good beer on tap. I can’t recommend this golf course enough , you will not be disappointed.

First and foremost, Hindhead is a must play golf course. It's different in a brilliant way. The front nine is rather unique and quite frankly exceptional to experience and play. I've played nothing quite like it in the UK, in fact anywhere. It left be breathless in more ways than one at times :). The back nine isn't quite as dramatic, but once again, it's an excellent nine holes of golf. From the pro shop to the bar staff, the whole off course experience is a friendly and welcoming one. The Aliss Bar is a lovely touch and brought back some wonderful memories. The photos won't do the course justice, so if you're in the area, please go and experience it all for yourself. You will not be disappointed - an exceptional course with the staff to match.

One of the most beautiful and picturesque courses I have ever played. Though not in good condition due to heavy rain..

Underrated in my opinion. Greens last summer were incridible, so fast and rolled so well. The Front 9 is set in 2 parallele valleys, Ive never seen anything like it, very unique. The back 9 while not in the valleys is just as good and is quite typical of other heathlands in the area. Preferred Hindhead to Woking, West Hill and Worplesdon. Members were very friendly and the scampi wrap for lunch was delicious!

Very good golf course and club. Last time I played the greens were glass table quick making any approach above the hole virtually impossible to two putt. Always enjoyable walk through the valleys with a further collection of very strong holes on the plateau for the back 9. Keep your ball out the heather if you can. When it gets long it can be a real card wrecker. Both times I’ve had lunch here it’s been Michelin guide worthy. Great day out if you get the invite. Few better courses in Surrey.

Been meaning to write this review for a while. I struggled to find places in outer London that have karaoke, until coming across Golf Manor Club. My close friends and I spent an evening here singing our hearts out and had such a fun time! Big thanks to Lawrence and his team who were super friendly and accommodating. Great space and a good selection of songs. Would recommend this hidden gem 💎

We absolutely loved Golf Manor! We went there for the afternoon as a team building activity and work social, and we had the best time! We have very mixed abilities in the team (some nearly pro golfers and some total beginners), but Lawrence was brilliant at choosing the right games and indoor golf courses for us, and made us all feel at ease and enjoy our game. We loved the crazy golf too, which was proper crazy and so much fun! We had some drinks and then went downstairs to check out the new Shuffle Board, which is highly addictive and again brilliant for groups and teams, as anyone can have a go and no special skills or previous experience required. Highly recommended by all of us for an alternative experience of indoor fun and games 😀 And super convenient to get to as well, right in the centre of Farnham.

It's hard finding something different for teenagers to do for their birthday, but my 15 year daughter and 11 friends had the best time here yesterday. Interactive golf and darts, and then shuffleboard. Lawrence, the owner was so welcoming and accommodating. I really hope the business goes well, there is something for everyone from children, to keen golfers to families or groups of friends. The tech they have installed is very up to date, drinks and food are also available, it was very clean and nicely decorated. Its easy to park and right in the centre of town. I'd recommend to anyone who fancies a slightly different day or night out. We'll be back as a family and with friends...especially when the gin bar opens soon! Thanks for a great time.

I bought my team here for a company Christmas do and we had a great time! Lawrence and the staff were all really pleasant, welcoming and accommodating. We did a package that included the virtual golf, followed by shuffle boarding. Great fun all round. Would highly recommend

We were a group of 13 celebrating some big birthdays by playing darts and shuffleboard. Lots of drinks were consumed (from beer and zero alcohol beer to wine and some spectacular cocktails). We also found the food extremely tasty - far beyond what we’d expect of this type of venue! The owner and his team were great hosts - nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend!

Farnham Golf Club

Played here this week (June 2021). The course is in great condition and the greens receptive. The bunkers are well kept and some have steep sides around the greens. There is a driving range here it's fairly basic, but is fine for a warm up. Guest rate is £35 and in my view worth it, the course is challenging but not overly so and most golfers will find it enjoyable. The staff are friendly and food and drink in the club house reasonably priced.

The Hazelwood Golf Society had the pleasure of visiting Farnham Golf Club recently and greatly enjoyed the course which was in excellent condition. From the initial booking last year through to the day of the meeting, Joanne and Ben in the office couldn't have been more helpful, efficient and accommodating, and on the day everything was really well organised. Whichever Farnham members and staff we met, they were friendly and welcoming. The two course meal we had early evening was excellent as well as generous in portion size. My only slightly negative observation was the lack of buggies (apart from 2 single seaters) which prevented four of our more elderly society members from playing the excellent Farnham course.

Absolutely 1st class service from the moment we arrived. I have played at many of the top courses around Hampshire,Surrey West Sussex and Farnham certainly beats them all when it comes to service and friendliness. The staff in the bar, kitchen were exceptional. The chef even came to the table to welcome us and make us feel welcome and help familiarise us with the place. All the bar staff were excellent, all happy and smiling. The pro shop and professionals could not have been nicer. The pro even came and sat with us after the round for 10 minutes to see how we got on, exceptional. Lovely time, couldn't fault it. The pro even allowed us free range balls to warm up, which by the way, the range is fantastic. 110% will be returning. Course conditions and views were up there with the best.

As a FGC member I feel luck to be part of this fantastic, friendly golf club. The course is in fantastic condition all year round and drains really well throughout the winter, temp greens really are a rarity. Golfers are rewarded for positional play throughout the round with a sound course strategy key, this is not a grip it and rip it course with wide open fairways and no trouble - being offline can easily cost you shots! The stretch between holes 5 - 12 is my favorite section of the course; I honestly can't understand why Farnham does feature higher in the England top 100. I have attached some of the pictures I have taken since joining the club in 2020, I cannot recommend coming and experiencing the club for yourself enough!

Great golf course in good condition in scenic surroundings. Tests every type of golf shot and is a great challenging course. You have to be in the right position in fairways otherwise you maybe blocked out by trees or in a bunker. Bunkers are of links type and use nice soft sand. Good facilities in clubhouse at reasonable prices. Will not hesitate to play this course again.

One of the great course in the area. Had a great day here via golf pair. Course condition is spectacular, greens are on the fast side. I really like how the course is laid out. Heather and pine trees are everywhere, so not much room for error.

Was fortunate enough to play here in February this year but the course was undergoing some maintenance. Came back and the changes that they’ve made to the bunkers and the 10th hole have been superb. Probably one of the most underrated courses I’ve ever played, it’s simply heaven. It might not be the longest course, but if you are slightly off the fairway and into the Heather, you will pay the price.

What a fabulous golf course and in amazing condition, greens were pristine and probably one of the best courses in Surrey, staff and members were friendly, food very good, only slight moan was it took nearly 5 hours to play as very busy.

Really top quality golf course and facilities. Had an amazing day here, while the weather hasn't been the best the course was still pristine. Service was friendly in the bar and the food was lovely. Everything you would want from a top course. Can't wait to return sometime.

We visited the club as guests of a member. Absolutely amazing place, from the minute we arrived and the greetings plus service from the staff. The quality of presentation of facilities in the club house and restaurants and bar were outstanding. The history and memorabilia are brilliant and a remarkable history of golf The course is fabulous and every hole is a new vista and a delight. The whole place is beyond superlatives. If you get the chance to visit and play this is a once in a lifetime experience.

An excellent course for the PGA Golf Tournament. The buses from Ascot ran smoothly every 5 to 10 mins back and forth. Amazing views while walking between holes the course facilities were set out very well with coverage and stands located in perfect places. The grandstand views were fantastic. An overall excellent experience well worth the money per ticket.

Visited for the BMW championship. Firstly the organisation was incredible took us barely any time to get into the ground and to get on buses back to the car park. The only real disappointment is the 18th access to the public; very little space for punter to see the action. I would also suggest they could do with starting the music entertainment a bit early to get punters to stay. The ground itself and the club is fantastic though and would highly recommend.

Birdies Coffee House & Bar & Farnham Park Golf Course

This was a lovely coffee shop/lunch cafe we stopped at after walking in the park. Coffee was good. Soya options which was a benefit, as was the gluten free bread or roll option. This meant the majority of the menu was gluten free if necessary. The interior is lovely with a woodburner fire in the corner for colder days, as well as blankets. Would definitely recommend

Great food with different food vans coming around over most weekends, good selection of drinks to choose from and plenty of space to sit indoors or outside depending on the weather. Music nights too to add to the fun, what more to ask for.🍻

Great bacon baps. This time we had a coffee and cheese and onion sandwich. Sandwiches are made fresh to order and taste delicious. Served with coleslaw and crisps. Much better than thee chain coffee shops. Very competitive prices for coffee and food. Staff are very friendly. This is a good venue to meet friends in.
