The course is in fantastic condition year round and deals with wet weather better than any other local course that I have played. Addington Palace is the first club I have been a member at. Everyone has been incredibly welcoming and the social side of golf has been great. Would recommend the Saturday morning roll-ups to get involved.
Rating: 5 / 5
A warm welcoming club to new members and visitors. Having only joined this summer, the members and management have gone above and beyond to ensure it was easy to settle in. The course has been consistently improved with regular course maintenance and improvements and continues to remain in great condition compared with many local courses.

Upon venturing to Addington Palace Golf purely for a look around, I was approached by the Men’s Captain who introduced himself and asked if I needed any help with anything. He immediately came across as welcoming and warming, even offering to play a round of golf with myself to see if I liked the course! The course is magnificent and one of the most challenging, yet interesting I have played. I joined pretty much the next day as a Full Member.

I became an academy member six months ago, and the experience has been fantastic from the start. The course is both challenging and enjoyable, offering a great balance for golfers of all levels. The grounds team does an exceptional job keeping the course in pristine condition, and even after heavy rain, it’s never muddy. The Ladies section is well-established, and they are incredibly welcoming and supportive. The academy is a great way to get started with golf.

Reviewing Callum the pro here — brilliant patient teacher who knows how to focus on key things for each player. I can only manage the occasional lesson currently and he’s so quick to isolate what’s most important. Worth a visit in his own right and the course is great too.

The course was in fantastic condition July 2023. Really friendly & helpful staff especially Clubshop and Catering Staff who made effort to accommodate our society of 25. Members were all friendly too. Slightly pricey at the bar but overall an excellent club!
Rating: 5 / 5
Well maintained golf course with fast greens and immaculate fairways. Long par 4s on the front nine and tricky back 9. Watch out for tricky pin positions on the excellent greens.

Always a top course and now moving towards greatness. A marvellous test of golf that is now showing some class. Tees all good most fairways very good and all greens superb and very challenging. Bunkers are proper top course quality, properly raked to give you a chance. Give it a bit more time to mature and it’ll be on a great number of golfers wish list. Btw great views of London too.

A very good test of Golf and a course that has gone through significant redevelopment in the last few years. There were some truly fantastic par 3s some very challenging par 4s and a couple of interesting par 5s as well. Due to a lot of the felling of trees, the aesthetic of the course will perhaps take another 2 to 3 years to really mature. I think this could be an unbelievable course when they finish the work and the changes look more natural. I do think the clubhouse needs updating, but I believe there are plans to do that as well Would highly recommend playing here as it is a very good test of Golf

Wow. Haven’t played many courses in the UK like this. Almost every hole could be their signature hole. Very undulating, various holes with plenty to think about in a stunning location with views over London. Lots of work ongoing but shows they invest and take the future of the club seriously. Worth the green fees!

One of the best golf courses, to play it is to be blessed
Rating: 4 / 5
Lots of work being undertaken at the moment. An old hole has been found amongst the trees cut down. A site for a new clubhouse has been found and views to the city of London are beautiful. The foresight of the current owner seems to align perfectly with the original course architect. Large greens, wide fairways, a great test of golf. Don't let the par 69 fool you. This course can bite back as quick as look at you. Worth a try now, when it's completed, you won't be able to book a time or join as it will be full.

I had my 50th here a few weeks back. The chef did an amazing menu that suited meat and vegans perfectly, lovely canapés , starter and main course. The staff were so helpful, they accommodated my bespoke champagne needs and keep it flowing non-stop. I thought twice about telling everyone how awesome this was as I want to keep it all for myself, Croham Hurst Golf Club is a great venue location, easy to get to, I put everyone up at the Premier Inn just 5mins away. The price was really good, venue perfect, staff amazing, thank you for such a memorable birthday, what a treat.

Great course, still in good condition in mid October. Nice old club house with good food and friendly staff.

We recently hosted our charity golf day at Croham Hurst Golf Club, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! Despite the rainy weather leading up to the event, the course was in excellent condition, providing a great day of play for our 85 participants. The food was excellent quality, from the bacon sarnies before the round to the three-course dinner which followed. A special thanks to Caroline, who was instrumental in organizing the event and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Her attention to detail and support made all the difference. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to help make the day a success!

Golf only review (I did not eat in the restaurant): I arrived Saturday, and American on layover in London looking for a place to play within public transport from Gatwick. The staff and members received me with utmost kindness, especially the woman in the pro shop. She was extremely accommodating in getting me on the course though I had not booked an advance time. The course was beautiful - not overly challenging, but in good condition despite overnight rain, and I appreciated the variety between holes. After the round, members I chatted with on the course invited me to sit for a beer and were warm and welcoming despite my being a stranger. Nice to feel welcome on a golf course half a planet away from home. Hope to be back again some time.

This is my go to driving range. Don't get me wrong, the equipment is dated and the Top Range doesn't track 1/3 of the time. Why am I still coming all the time? It's really cheap. With the range card, it costs less than £9 for 125 balls (unlimited time) for off peak! That's why I gave it a 5 star. Where else can you find another driving range at this price? If you know one, please leave me a comment, I would love to try that out.

Lovely little 18 hole course of crazy golf. Nothing too complicated so great for our young girls (6,8,11). And reasonably priced. Will def take them again..

We had a great afternoon out here on Sunday 4th February my husbands birthday. With our son, daughter, g/daughter, nephew and nice. We all enjoyed ourselves and got throughly involved. Staff were friendly and helpful, time passed quickly ( no restrictions on how long you take). Good way to spend a Sunday afternoon outdoors.

I’ve been going to The Golf Venue for a while now and just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of the staff. The driving range is a great place to work on your game and you’re always greeted by the friendly team. Clint and Dean in the shop are always happy to see me. I’ve known Clint for many years and his knowledge of the sport and custom fitting ability continues to amaze me. If you’re ever looking to have a golf MOT and want to make sure your clubs are right for you, visit Clint and he’ll be able to help. There is always a great atmosphere at The Golf Venue and you’ll meet like minded people looking to improve their golf game.

Always a lovely experience. So lucky that a place like this is nearby. From birthdays to family and friend day outs, its always fun and it's not too long and not too short. Plenty of shade on sunny days and seating scattered around for when you're waiting being families with small kids. We love the little extras like the turquoise waterfalls, Castle theme and dragon cave. The putting greens are all different and one allows you to whack the ball into a river tunnel which emerges on the other side. Parking is excellent. I've never had I problem at all. The birthday hut is small but is does the job, especially on warm evenings where the golf range is lit up and the doors can be left open. The people that visit are always friendly and polite. Overall a great day out.

Very big golf course. About 15 minutes drive from East Croydon Station. Lot of people come from central London to play golf in this club. You can play and pay per day @£40 per day per player if you’re not interested to be a member of the club.

Fantastic golf club and wedding venue. We were brilliantly looked after by Molly and her colleagues. They were engaging, attentive and accommodating. A really lovely wedding event we were attending, it was great food, great service and we are looking forward to returning again in the summer. Keep up all the fab work!

Beautiful golf course with lots of facilities and a good cafe. People are friendly and its a very welcoming club. Its dog friendly too which is a big plus. One negative I wanted to highlight is that over the last year I've noticed the range is often shut. The app notifies us that the range is shut and then never confirms once it has reopened so we have no idea if its open or shut at any time. I've also had a few instances of going there in person only to be told that the range is shut as they are collecting balls (which then remained shut for at least the two hours after then that I was there). Just in this picture you can see how many times in the last few days the range has been shut. Great club overall, but this range point needs to be looked at for improved customer experience. Thanks

Lovely course, played the par 68 championship, unfortunately frozen but not the courses fault! Imagine it is stunning in the summer, will be playing again, also a very good price

As someone who’s very new to golf I think this is a great place and really good value for money. I’ve been having lessons with Simon who has really built my confidence from a total amateur. Feel comfortable playing and the academy course is good for me to practice and improve my game. Lovely to see them let the nature thrive around the course too, especially the grouse!

Good course and was in good condition. Bit disappointed there is no reduced rate for juniors. Made it a very expensive round for me and my son.
