The Wisley is a golfing experience for the connoisseur. Having played lots of top courses around the world, The Wisley was different. It's hard to explain in what ways, you are better off trying to get an invite from a member. I was fortunate to be invited to play by one of the Tour Pro members, and I watched in awe as he struck 9 birdies, with a few "left out there" too. Lunch was terrific, I had the Pad Thai, which was as good as any Thai restaurant I've been to. I look forward to going back and hopefully not losing as many balls in the water! Beg, borrow or steal an invite...you won't be disappointed.

Whisley only accepts members or their guests. The building is very sophisticated and modern inside. The golf course is strategically placed with ponds and rivers, making it very difficult. The golf course is of the highest quality and is well maintained. Francesco, who won the major championship his Molinari, trains here.

Having discovered one of my clients was a member and ex captain of Wisley and round has been on the cards for sometime and the wait was so worth it. You know you are in for a treat as you stop and the gates to be allowed access and drive up the discreet, small lane leading to the club house that oozes exclusivity. There was staff everywhere from club house to practice facilities making sure you wanted for nothing. The course is simply stunning, we set out on Church which is a test of course management. The greens are just pure and the rough thick, lush and punishing. We then played Mill a much wider and friendly 9 that allowed us to open our shoulders off the tee and try to claw back the shots that church had taken from us. The wind was a massive factor and one that my playing parter says is one of Wisleys best defences, it certainly felt that way as I played later that day down the road in the same conditions and the wind did not effect play anywhere near as much. A course I will remember with utter fondness and hope to return to play again one day.

What an awesome little gem of a course. Tees were forward today making it a little short for my liking (40 stapleford points is a bit too much), but with water on every hole and plenty of bunkers and pretty quick greens, it gave for a decent challenge. The clubhouse has had a recent makeover and looks amazing. Great menu and presentation of brunch too. Highly recommended. Will definitely be going back.

Great lunch here with views across the lake. Highly recommend the pepperoni pizza and the cheesy fries are amazing! The outside patio is dotted with olive trees and the chairs are very comfy. Lots of seating inside too. Only downside was the coffee - flat white was weak & watery with no crema on top :(

Amazing experience. A fun and interesting course requiring accuracy off the tee as many fairways are quite narrow and the Heather brutal in places. Off the yellow tees I found it a little easier than I was expecting with alot of hazards and bunkers easily able to be carried and taken out of play. Greens were pure and fair with not too many huge undulations to navigate. Bunkers were pristine. Fairways magnificent

This is a club steeped in history. Sir A Conan Doyle a past member among others who's names still adorn the lockers. The course is in fantastic condition, and is a true test of golf with gorse and heather lined fairways and greens that run true and fast. If you ever get the chance.....play it, you will not be disappointed.

Brilliant Course and Clubhouse The history and atmosphere of the clubhouse make for a special day and the course is undoubtedly amongst the best in England. We were made to feel very welcome, especially at the half way house ☺️.

What makes a golf course a great course? Its so personal for many of us but arriving at the course at New Zealand it just looks epic. It looks like Woburn meets Sunningdale. The club house is quaint and classy, small and personal heaped with history it looks like it hasn't been updated since it was built and that's its charm. New Zealand is my idea of a perfect inland course, huge pine trees lining most of the fairways with heather ready to scoop you up if you stray off the fairways. The greens are fantastic but slower than expected. The half way house is positioned strategically after the par 3 8th where we met Trevor who helped us maximise our golf for the day by suggesting we head up the 14th and loop back round, you can play all day if you wish and many of the people we met had indeed played two rounds. It is a course that will definitly leave you wanting to play it more so having the ability to play as much as you like was great. Stopping for a pint afterwards we had to try New Zealands own beer served of course in an old fashioned beer glass, I love it.

A very nice track, par 69 and some challenging holes. Bunkers seemed like they could do with some TLC (some had limited sand, some had a lot of stones in) but asides from that was in great shape. Highlights were the greens and tee boxes for sure. Great condition

Played the course nov. 3rd after heavy rainfall. Course nevertheless in good condition. Exceptional beautiful golf course, huge trees around, hilly, bunkers surrounded by heather, very large greens with nice slopes. Looks like Augusta! The course is so much better than Walton Heath and costs the half. The two professionals are very kind, the staff in the restaurant also. Clubhouse nice also. Woking is an absolute recommendation. But be aware of the heather!

I played s charity day on Friday the 02/18/24, my first time at the course. I have to say what a superb course in fantastic condition, testing but stunning. Along with that the great facilities the staff were outstanding, i will wear my titleist drift hat with fond memories when i play my home course of Hersham. Would not hesitate to play there again and recommend it to everyone.

Recently played here for a matchplay (I'm Windlesham) against the home side. All round great golf course. Greens are slick and pin positions can be challenging. Picking your fairway lines is crucial to getting to the greens safely. Excellent range also with digital screens. Members I played with were courteous and very helpful and friendly. Great club all round.

Very good golf course. It's challenging but also enjoyable to play. Lots of woods and fantastic designs makes golf fun. Usually 1st half is more challenging the the back 9. My handicap is 18 so some might say slightly different.

This is a well run golf course and facilities are constantly being improved. New drainage on holes, bunkers and fairways, is improving year round playability, and a new driving range is almost complete (Nov. 2021). The course is tree lined in a quiet location where you can see and hear a variety of birds including boisterous Cuckoos, busy Pied Wagtails and the ever ubiquitous Pheasant. The club house and bar are well run. There's a good range of menu selections such as wild mushrooms on toast and daily selections such as roast beef baguettes. There's traditional bar food of burgers and beers and some very good wines. Whether you sit outside on the sun drenched terrace or warm yourself inside the clubhouse this is a really nice place to relax and enjoy the best of Surrey.

AMAZING!!! Nothing else to say really lol! The staff were happy and helpful, the clubs and golf balls were being meticulously cleaned for each customer. Online booking made it better and quicker to get into the course. The course, despite being quite old now, is perfectly kept and brilliantly maintained. My two boys (11 and 4) and I had an absolutely amazing time. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Better signposting to exit the course would be useful but apart from that, which I suspect is a helpful COVID measure, it was just perfect. Well done to everyone involved in making our morning fantastic fun and worth the long journey to get there.

Awesome crazy golf. It felt like just being in Disneyland at Pirates of the Caribbean. It took 1 hour 30 mins to complete as a little busy during the school holidays. So much to look at and enjoy it wasnt a problem. Extremely good value for money and will be coming back again. Located on a lovely golf course grounds with a nice restaurant and outside seating where you can watch real golfers at the 10th tee.

I was not expecting a pre-booked room and food with this view to be available at a Golf Club. As this was for a funeral, it was quite a sensitive time. However the atmosphere was relaxing and we were welcomed by a members only club and the food was fantastic. It far exceeded my expectations and from what I heard it is of great value too for price per head and room hire. The only suggestion would be to have something sweet, it may be an extra or they don't offer it I'm not sure as I didn't book it. The facilities are very nice, bathrooms and changing rooms are of a high standard and the view is great looking over the 1st and 18th holes. The room is of decent size and can accommodate 25 people max i would say.
