Another Harry Colt masterpiece. I love this course. Very storable if you drive it well, occasionally punitive if you don't. The clubhouse is fab, and the food among the best I've had at any golf club. I'm lucky to have a mate who is a member, so I get out there a couple of times per year. Photo is of the 17th hole.

We visited as a society and it is an incredible course to play, even in January. The course is always in top condition, and the club provide a brilliant starter to help our golfers get out on time. Great communication from the team before arrival as well as throughout the day. The chef is incredible and if you visit Tandridge, you have to stay for the lunch. You'll be hard pressed to have a better carvery or dessert selection.

For myself this is up there with sunningdale, the Addington and fox hills. It has history as you will see from inside the building and the course is very special. Luxury on a course from tee to green, some of the best greens I’ve played on all year. Congratulations to all the green staff for creating a fantastic course.

I player the old course at Walton Heath several years ago. As a single, I was paired with a delightful couple on a classic golf course. The old course was in superb condition, the staff quite friendly and it was a highlight to be able to enjoy this historic classic venue. Just stay out of the gorse and you'll really enjoy your round.

Stunning course with great staff. Course is setup to be challenging but rewarding and offers great views as you work your way round. Bunkers are well placed but well maintained and the heather isn’t as tight as feared. Driving range is a bit of a walk away but that’s the only issue I found, would highly recommend

Was very fortunate to play the old course I would highly recommend if you get a chance. The Clubhouse some potting green are absolutely superb. The first hole lets the course down, it’s in a field before you cross the road and there really isn’t too much about it Once you cross the road, the course really begins and there are some stunning holds, lined with wonderful bunkers and bits of Heather. It is not an easy course by any stretch and it’s always better to be shorter but straighter. I did find before we made the turn that the traffic was extremely loud from the motorway which was slightly disappointing, but otherwise a great day

I don't play golf, but if i did, this is where i would play😁 I love walking the lap around here but with lockdown it has been even better. Sorry golfers 0 everybody else 1. Large enough not to get too muddy and bump into people but also to get a feeling your out in the countryside. Mogador and the sportsman a great diversion when its open. Highly recommend.

My husband I got married here last year, from our first contact with Jackie in 2020 all the way through our planning journey and up until the very end of our wedding, and our return visit this year for our anniversary, the entire team was absolutely perfect! They were always available to ask any questions however big or small, so supportive of our whole process and accommodating for every request we made. They handled our very large, loud family with ease and all of our guests commented on what a beautiful venue it is and how wonderful all the staff were while they were with us. One of our guests managed to lose the keys to the lodge on check out and the team were so understanding as we tried to find them. Julie was our day of coordinator and she was so supportive and helpful from the second she arrived, everything ran seamlessly and she was so caring throughout the day. On our return visit for our anniversary this year, we were given the honeymoon suite again and the team had decorated for us to help us celebrate Cottesmore really is our happy place and we can’t wait to visit again

Excellent golf club with two 18 hole courses. Both are quite long so be prepared to drive well! The club house sits stunningly at the top of the 18th hole of the new course- a great spot to grab a drink after the round to watch others finish.

As the flagship home of the Burhill group the clubhouse and facilities at the site are modern and user friendly. The clubhouse is a coverted stately home type buliding and finished to a lovely standard. The practice facilities are good with a multi bay range and practice green. I didn't see a specific chipping green or practice bunker so don't know whether they have one or not but you can practice low short running chips on the putting green. The pro shop is well stocked and as with the whole experience, the staff were helpful and friendly. I only played the Old Course which was a perfectly well maintained parkland course but to be honest rather lacked any character. There were no real beautiful holes or picturesque views other than looking across the course is mostly flat and interspersed with good tree coverage. Whilst it is longer than your average course, that was the main defence. The fairways were wide with trees separating them but there was still plenty of space to spray a driver around. The rough was quite punishing and the first cut was of a length that meant there was a decent challenge making a good contact with the ball but was not so difficult as to impede play. There were some nice shaped holes with dog legs, providing challenges and a few tight approach shots, but nothing that was particularly challenging. Overall, I found the course to be a nice well-presented fairly standard parkland course which was slightly more interesting on the back nine with the introduction of some undulation. This however, was missing on the first nine holes giving it a rather mundane experience. The group i played with all had similar views. We enjoyed the course. The greens and fairways were all in great condition and consistent however we would not rush back to play the old course and don't think that it represents great value for a stand alone round. I am however hoping to play the new course at some point in the future, which i am assured will have more of a championship feel. The old course i would score a 7 out of ten as a nice long parkland course with the club house and friendly staff bringing the score up a notch to 4 stars.

What a great way to spend a Sunday! We visited yesterday after booking a wine-tasting experience and a two-course lunch. We were greeted by a lovely lady, Maria, who gave us a glass of welcome bubbly and an overview of the owner and origins of the wine before taking us to the vineyard for a close-up and personal tour. Back in the tasting room, we enjoyed several more wines, before moving to our lunch, which was delicious! So much food. Thank you Maria for such an interesting and insightful tour. Your professionalism and passion for wine shone through, making it even more special! This place is a real gem and the wines are not bad either:)! Thank you.

My wife took me for a wine tasting as a surprise. What a wonderful afternoon it was. Fantastic service from when we walked in. The whole story of the wines and where they come from and how they produce them was told. We then got a cheese board and explained how the cheeses and wine compliment each other. They then left us alone to enjoy the wine which was nice as we could talk about it with each other. The setting is amazing with views of the golf course. After we had done the wine and cheese Ben took us around and showed us the grounds and where they are now growing the grapes. Ben was an excellent guid.

Wide fairways with interesting holes and many elevation changes. No electric carts when it is wet so old timers who are not fit might struggle going uphill on several holes. Stags, pheasant and lots of birds on the course. Worth a visit.

We visited for a vineyard tour, wine tasting, and lunch for £60 a head. Self drive golf buggies down to the vineyards, which is great fun! The tour guide was informative and friendly. Had a glass of sparkling as we explored. Then back for tasting, which was a small flight of 3. Very my glasses a bottle was split between 8 of us! Lunch was lovely, and the grounds were beautiful. We left the car and got a taxi home.

Fantastic! What a golf venue and so much more! As soon as you wind your way round the driveway and catch a glimpse at the incredibly impressive club house you know you are in for a treat. The range is right next to the first tee box at the Old, it only extends to 200 yards or so so but good enough to get your swing going. The condition of the course was brilliant, the definition on the green aprons was class. Greens were true and firm. I haven't played the other course at RAC yet but my playing partner who is a member there said its more up and down then its sister course, it certainly is an entertaining course, several slight dog legs and blind tee shots down hill adds to the enjoyment. The course is also quite forgiving being quite open and the long rough being cut right down. A super venue and great course, can't wait to go back.

OUTSTANDING. This glorious location provided the wonderful backdrop for the Maggie's Charity Ball 2022. The Parkland, the dining room, the lounges, the terrace and wonderful service from the staff made for a stylish, super evening. The food and wine was top quality for all: vegans and vegetarians enjoyed their food too. Stacked full of history, the Manor House is a magnificent building. If you ever get the chance to go, do.

Visited for the BMW championship. Firstly the organisation was incredible took us barely any time to get into the ground and to get on buses back to the car park. The only real disappointment is the 18th access to the public; very little space for punter to see the action. I would also suggest they could do with starting the music entertainment a bit early to get punters to stay. The ground itself and the club is fantastic though and would highly recommend.

We had our wedding here a couple of weeks ago and everything from the service to the food to the organisation was 10/10. Liza was absolutely amazing and made our planning super easy and not stressful! Every question we asked, and every detail we wanted was an easy yes from Liza, from changing the menu to more Middle Eastern food to the layout and order of the day. Can’t recommend this venue and Liza enough for the amazing service. Thank you Kingswood!

We had our wedding at Kingswood Golf Club in the middle of December. From the moment we confirmed our intent to have our wedding at Kingswood the support we received was absolutely brilliant. It made everything so easy and we felt supported throughout. The venue is beautiful, the food absolutely incredible and everybody who attended commented on the food. The hotel rooms are just lovely and as others have commented breakfast the following day was in a separate room, again the food was lovely and we weren’t rushed to leave even though we definitely stayed longer than planned. We couldn’t recommend Kingswood highly enough, thank you to everyone who played a part in our special day.

Just had our wedding reception at Kingswood Golf & Country Club. The venue itself is suburb, the changing rooms, hotel rooms and function rooms all look very modern. Liza and her team were fantastic throughout the whole process and couldn’t have done enough for us to make the weekend so special. I was even able to play golf during the afternoon before the evening reception and the golf course was in great condition. The hotel rooms were amazing, large rooms with comfy beds and great showers. The breakfast the following morning was great too and was available all morning so didn’t need to get up early and rush down! All the guests enjoyed their weekend and were impressed with the set up. Can’t rate this place highly enough if you’re looking for a weekend away, golf society or for a big event.

The club has recently installed a new golf simulator/ swing analyser and it is amazing!! Besides being able to play a bunch of courses on the simulator the swing analysis software is phenomenal! There is a ton of data that is recorded with each swing and having one of the club’s teaching pros working with you to digest and interpret all the data is essential if you want to sort out your swing! A great addition to a great golf club!

Great Surrey Golf Course A stunning example of a wonderful Harry Colt designed golf course located in Dorking just beneath Box Hill and in the Surrey Downs. Betchworth Park Golf Club offers a range of facilities from Membership to green fees for visitors and exceptionally well organised Society & Corporate Golf Days. There is a team of 1st Class PGA Professionals to help you whether on arrival or for a lesson to tune up your game. The function room easily seats 90-100 and is a regular host to a number of events. Make this a ‘must-play’ when you are in Surrey.

Fantastic course designed by Harry Colt. Some beautiful holes, especially the 3rd and 4th and 14-16 corner. Greens are very good all year, fast and consistent, and in Apr to Sept are immaculate. Practice facilities are good - range, chipping and pitching area with raised green and bunker, and very well kept practice green. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful.

This is a well run golf course and facilities are constantly being improved. New drainage on holes, bunkers and fairways, is improving year round playability, and a new driving range is almost complete (Nov. 2021). The course is tree lined in a quiet location where you can see and hear a variety of birds including boisterous Cuckoos, busy Pied Wagtails and the ever ubiquitous Pheasant. The club house and bar are well run. There's a good range of menu selections such as wild mushrooms on toast and daily selections such as roast beef baguettes. There's traditional bar food of burgers and beers and some very good wines. Whether you sit outside on the sun drenched terrace or warm yourself inside the clubhouse this is a really nice place to relax and enjoy the best of Surrey.

Recently played here for a matchplay (I'm Windlesham) against the home side. All round great golf course. Greens are slick and pin positions can be challenging. Picking your fairway lines is crucial to getting to the greens safely. Excellent range also with digital screens. Members I played with were courteous and very helpful and friendly. Great club all round.
