Family run hard working garage, just call to book your car in and they help you out. Had a recent refurbishment inside which makes it feel modern and fresh. The knowledge here between the staff is very expansive and runs back through the family into the 1980s. Highly recommend as they can take care of anything within the Volkswagen Group no matter the age. There is a soft spot for classics, but anything you need for your age of car is sorted stress free and within a good time period.

Amazing service. Quoted £1700 at a 'well known' garage and told I would have to wait for three days whilst they investigated other 'issues' with my car! Phoned Richard, he had it in within the hour and did everything needed for a grand less and the car was ready the next day. Would highly recommend!

Very quick and efficient service, a recovery vehicle was sent out to me within 45 minutes of initially calling up. Ive been waiting to see Jamie at R.A.C.E with my Bristol 406 -6 cylinder 2.2L for about 3 weeks since I was recommended by a friend . I arrived at just before 9am and was away around 11:30 with the carburettors balanced and the car dyno tested . The car was running hesitantly but with Jamie's touch was purring home and a joy to drive. Thank you guys ,I want another car now just so that you can sort it out ( not sure my wife would agree though !!?).

From the first call with Jamie, I had confidence that the niggles I had with recommissioning my MG Roadster would be sorted. RACE bled the brake's and clutch, set up the carburettors, and following a test drive resolved a number of other issues that had arisen. A few days after collection an unrelated fault arose, the MG was returned and Harry quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem while I waited. RACE are a great company to deal with, nothing is to much trouble, Harry is a fountain of knowledge and gives advice willingly, I wish them well, and will be back.

Harry and Jamie at RACE Ltd have certainly gone the extra mile when working on and looking after my MGA race/road classic. Their communication is excellent both during the work and after. Several times I have rung up for advice for small problems and they have always been more than helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Needed an alloy wheel repaired. Very efficient service. Staff friendly. Waiting area was setup well. Visitors toilets were very clean. Quite often this aspect of the customer experience is overlooked.!

They managed to squeeze my repair in last minute and get my car back to me very fast. Excellent. Able to start repair work sooner than other garages, essential for us with no public transport. Always efficient. Work completed slightly later than expected due to problem with part but we were kept informed of this. Price was reasonable. Bonus was, car had been cleaned when we collected it. The site is very secure, all the staff are very friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable (even showing us we had folding mirrors that we weren't aware of 😉😂). Yesterday Chris remapped my A3 2.0 TDI S line to stage 1 and its incredible! 150-195BHP and 340-430NM. The difference is very very noticeable and its now a completely different car, a lot more power in all the gears, especially in 2nd and 3rd, where the car is way more responsive with far less turbo lag and pulls ridiculously. Great value for money, definitely recommend getting your tuning done with Chris he very knowledgeable and knows his stuff, even inspected my car for me before my MOT!

Car broke down Sunday evening, so on the phone first thing Monday morning. As promised, the guys came out that afternoon and replaced parts and finished within the expected 3hrs. Very pleased with efficiency and polite manor. Highly recommend...
