Excellent professional and personable service from the whole team at Great Bookham Dental Practice. I have been visiting this practice for quite some time and every time I visit, they really do put me at ease. The level of care is second to none and I feel completely safe in their hands. Going to the dentist is a really positive experience for me now. As a bit of a geek, it's great to see them investing in the latest technology to make sure that they provide the best care possible. From visiting the hygienist, to getting my dental check-ups, and any further care required - be it fillings, or my first and hopefully only crown... they are thorough in their assessments and put you and your care first. Halfway through treatment. Bridge and implant. I'm a very nervous patient and I have been cared for and reassured at every step. I have been able to have treatment I never would have dreamed of due to my fear. As a nurse I'm familiar with patient centred care and treatment and I am receiving this at Great Bookham dental practice. Thoroughly recommend

Had downlighters updated in living room, bathroom,bedroom and kitchen. Had a new extractor fan installed in bathroom. Ashley (Mr Wire Ltd) carried out the work efficiently , precisely and was very thorough. Very pleased with the work, reasonably priced and friendly service. Would highly recommend , thanks Ashley.

We're new to the area and were keen to find really good local trades people for work on our new house. Sell electrical performed brilliantly. Initially asked to look at an extract fan replacement / repair, Jeremy arrived on time and was extremely helpful, not only with advise and repair on the fan but in helping me to understand other aspects of the electrical installation in our new house. All round great service and great value. Have already asked them to come back do more. Thoroughly recommend.

Wonderful practice! I saw Dr Evison twice for a check-up and to be fitted for a Sleep-eez device. The experience and friendly advice was perfect and the device has been incredibly impactful for my sleep quality. I also had a hygienist session with Agota that was careful and thorough and my teeth and gums feel so much better. Highly recommend!

Dr Evison is a wonderful dentist. She is patient and professional and is obviously very knowledgeable and qualified. She spent time explaining every step of the procedure and gave time to answering any questions I had. Her approach is confident, kind and secure and this was very reassuring. I can't praise the staff at Astek enough, they have been so caring and really given me a 5star experience. From tooth extractions, making sure i was comfortable very step of the way to denture fittings, nothing was to much trouble. Friendly and very approachable. I would highly recommend all of them. Astek have their dental lab on site which is how I believe all dentists should be set up. I had a front tooth knocked out in a childhood accident and have since been very conscious of the way my smile looks. In today's world of working on Teams and video calls for the main part, this was becoming more and more problematic for me. So along with attending appointments with my dentist, Leila, for general dentistry she took impressions and Ailsa, the proprietor, created two bespoke veneers to make my front teeth appear more normal and worked with both me and my lovely dentist, to tailor my smile when I wasn’t initially delighted with the result - cancelling afternoon appointments until we were done. Two veneers sounds a simple, ordinary thing, but I actually didn’t have two front teeth to work with – just one front tooth and a smaller, differently shaped, side tooth which looked quite odd. I now don’t even think about my teeth when I’m on screen which is such a relief. Thank you so much Astek! To say I am a nervous patient is an understatement. Leila has been so patient and kind with me and I am so much more confident in the chair with her. She has also managed to sort out gum issues that have persisted for over 40 years, and now when I’m brushing my teeth there is no sign of anything in the sink but toothpaste. She also keeps me on track when I’m not doing as well as I should be, advising on which brushes, toothpaste for sensitivity, and even demonstrating that you can get the largest of teepees into some very small spaces. We joined the Asian themed Supper Club in July and were really impressed. The quality of the food was incredible - everything had been made from scratch and with love! The flavours were so varied. As occasional meat eaters we were converted to 100% plant based as the menu was so diverse! Lovely to see a husband/wife team so passionate about their business - the service and atmosphere was intimate and relaxed. We will defo be booking into the next supper club event!

We stopped here on a road trip having seen the excellent reviews and weren’t disappointed! The curry and Buddha bowl left us with amazing flavours in the mouth, and we couldn’t resist picking up a cheese cake and lemon and blueberry cake for later in the day. Really lovely staff, a great vibe, highly recommend.

For a business like ourselves that’s been established since 1976 we have used dozens of electrical firms for all sorts of work. From pac testing, to fill re wires and always been left short with satisfaction. Well that’s until we found maclaren electrical and owner connor. The service was better than any we’ve had with any trades that we have used over the years, he went over and beyond what we asked him to do in visit one and since he’s fixed so many things that other companies had clearly poorly done over the years. I couldn’t recommend Connor and his team enough and I’m actually trying to find things I want done electric wise just to get the boys back in as I I’m so impressed with the whole firm and what they provide. They also really understand the value of looking after clients in terms of value for money. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now for my commercial or domestic works.
