I came home from my holiday to find that my roof had leaked and some of the electrics had been affected. So just to be safe I asked Rowland of Brightlights solutions if he could do an electrical survey to make sure nothing was seriously wrong with the electrics and to make sure it was all safe. Rowland himself was extremely busy as electricians are but he sent round his colleague Garth instead. Garth was extremely well mannered and knowledgeable. He worked very quietly and quickly. He even has indoor shoes in order to keep your floors clean which was very unexpected but a really nice touch. I will always use Brightlights and forever recommend them with confidence because it doesn’t matter who shows up at your house, you know if you’ve called Brightlights then they’ll have unparalleled knowledge and you’ll be getting the best possible service.

Rowland and Garth are both excellent electricians who have worked on our first house 8 years ago and then this month on our latest house. They are our first and only go to electricians, as they know their stuff and always work to find a solution for whatever we need. This time they have fitted new electrics, added security lights, installed patio lights, changed plugs & light switches , added new lighting and installed TV ariels. THANKS

Rowland and the team have done various items of work for us over the past year, all to a very high standard. They are conscientious about all aspects of their work and as well as being highly knowledgeable and competent are prompt, courteous and tidy. Rowland has also given us advice on a number of matters and helped us to make sensible informed decisions. I can’t recommend Rowland highly enough.

I'm very pleased that I engaged Rowland to sort out the outdoor lighting in my driveway and garden/patio area. When I called him with my initial enquiry, he was very helpful with some initial ideas and made himself available for an exploratory visit and discussion the next day. During his visit, he immediately impressed me with his knowledge and passion for finding the best solution for my needs. Once we agreed on the plans, he promptly sent me a quote for the work, which was a very fair price. He communicated very clearly and proactively regarding his exact arrival times on the agreed days, and completed the work on time, and slightly under budget. I'm really happy with the end result! Overall, it was pleasure dealing with Rowland (and also Diana, over the phone and by email) He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about his work. Highly recommended!

As a very long standing patient at Notley Dental Care, I can wholeheartedly recommend their services. What is really noticeable and very much appreciated when having to consider options for treatment, is that they are clearly laid out, with no sense of being encouraged down a particular pathway. Most recently I have seen Dr Ali and his care and consideration and recommendations have been invaluable. I’d been suffering with severe tooth/jaw ache for four days, As a fairly new resident to Godalming and still registered with my old dentist in Bournemouth were I used to live🤔🙄! I couldn’t find a dentist willing or able to see me even as an emergency! Nightmare!! Lucky for me I stumbled upon 8 to 8 Dental practice. After explaining my situation to Shirley the practice manager she spoke with the dentist and even though they were not taking bookings that morning the dentist (I’m sorry I don’t remember his name) Said he will fit me in . Gosh! I was so happy, I can’t tell you how badly the pain in my jaw was effecting me , I had barely slept for days and was eating ibuprofen and co-codemol like candy!! I had an x-ray and initial investigation and he cleaned out some of the infected area And prescribed and provided me with penicillin which I took straight away! I’ve made arrangements to return for more treatment. And I feel confident in his hands! He was very careful and considerate of my pain and discomfort, The initial cost were very reasonable, I thought @ £65 investigation, £30 ish for x-ray and prescription and clean of immediate area! Although the follow up cost are significantly higher I feel they are not overly expensive as I think I need quite a bit of work! Over two , full hour visits ! I think 8to8 is a practice I’d be happy to call my permanent dentist now I live here in Sunny Godalming. Thank you so much for helping me when no others would! I’m looking forward to having and seeing healthy teeth again soon fingers crossed my wisdom tooth doesn’t need to be removed too!🤞🏻

I had a raging toothache so went into 8 and 8 at lunchtime today and they were so caring and awesome. Tooth out tonight at 7. I am an ex dentist and Dr So is an excellent dentist. His technique is without fault and IM PAIN FREE. 5 stars is not enough. Outstanding practice and I kinda know the business. A million thanks.

Dr. Ying So is the best dentist on the planet. He gave me the best service, treatment and education to take care of my teeth, particularly an implant that I needed to have. His expertise in cleaning your teeth is excellent. I have lived in many countries and this is the best dental service I have ever received. I visited Sana Shabbir today, the dental hygienist at the Mews Dental Practice. I just wanted to recommend her to anyone who is a bit nervous about having treatment. I was referred to Dr nick Baker by my current dentist and the very warm and pleasant staff of Elstead dental surgery all of whom made my short stay a warm and pleasant and calm experience considering we all have. Those fears of going to the dentist you can rest assured that you will not feel a thing under Mr Baker and his Sedation techniques who carried the procedure of redoing not one but two fillings in a very professional and calm manner with his dental assistant providing excellent support making sure everything runs smoothly to be honest. I haft to wonder were the time went as before I knew it the process was finished thankyou once again to everyone at the Elstead dental surgery

Nick and Lisa have been brilliant! I’ve just had my Cfast braces off after 6 months and I’m so pleased. I‘d thought about it for a long time and I’m so glad I went for it! I had been putting off going to the dentist for some years as, like many people. it's an experience I rather dread! However, I was persuaded by a flyer through my door to try Elstead Surgery and they have been very helpful and reassuring every time I have visited over the past couple of years. All the work I have had done has been great and Nick is lovely and works hard to keep anxiety levels down. I would recommend the surgery to anyone. My daughter now goes there as well and they have been excellent with the children.

Gareth did a fantastic job, met with us a couple of times to be absolutely clear what we wanted and the plan for the works to be done. Considering the size of the job he was very tidy and has made our home so much better as a result. His time keeping was punctual and he kept us informed of all progress made and tasks left to do. Tripped Out Electrical provided an excellent service for the scope of work; new consumer unit with RCBOs, new / upgraded sockets throughout and new interlinked smoke & heat alarms. Would highly recommend and will use again in the future. Gareth was very personable, engaging and knowledgeable when visiting to quote which was reassuring. The quality of the work performed was to a high level, including clean chasing and making good. Was very accommodating to some last minute changes from us. Could tell there is a lot of pride in the work carried out from the cleanliness & order within the newly installed consumer unit.

Fantastic service! I’m so pleased that I contacted Matt. He responded to my call promptly & was able to come out & solve the problem within 24 hours. The job was at my elderly Dad’s house but he kept me in the loop at all times. Dad thought that he was “friendly, efficient & knowledgeable… what more could you want”… high praise from an 86 year old with ‘old fashioned’ values. If you are looking for a helpful local tradesperson who is competent & trustworthy then Matt’s your man! Highly recommended 😁

I chose Bramley Electrical because they are a small, well-established, family business with a good reputation. I wasn't disappointed. Owner Matt did several jobs for me including repairing my spot lighting, putting up a chandelier and removing an unsafe wall light. He was polite, friendly and helpful, taking the time to discuss different options with me and even did little extras, like taking down an old smoke alarm from my high ceiling. It's so refreshing to find a tradesman who is punctual (I even got a courtesy text confirming Matt was on his way). He left my house clean and tidy - I couldn't have asked for better customer service! I would have no hesitation in recommending Bramley Electrical.

Fantastic meal at Positano last night. Superb attentive service whilst not being intrusive. Not been here for several years, as previous experience was not what we expected. However so glad we tried them again and it won’t be the last time. Garlic bread was delicious - so good we forgot to take a photo. I had the risotto and can easily say it was the best I have tasted. My husband had the fish special was equally delicious. The suggested wine pairing was perfect. The puddings rounded off a great night. So give Positano a try and we’ll probably see you there as we are definitely coming back.

Beautiful lunch with my neighbour at Positano. I’ve wanted to come here hit a long time but it was always fully booked. Today we had a great lunch, great service, and great atmosphere. Food was delicious and the best tiramisù I’ve had in a long time. Brilliant, I’ll take other friends here too.
