He's also carried out larger pieces of work such as replacing a patio and clearing an overgrown garden at a rental property and more recently driveway works where I live now. Ryan and his colleague did a great job tidying up my garden in preparation for Winter. They trimmed the hedges, pruned trees, weeded my drive and turned over the flower beds, as well as mowing the lawn and tidying up borders. They removed all garden waste and left the garden looking clean, tidy and ready for the cold months. And all done with a smile and good humour. He’s agreed to return in the Spring to provide a regular maintenance service going forward. I’m very pleased, and he was reasonably priced too!

My garden has been completely transformed into a rustic haven once 1 to One Garden Design set to work on my patio, pond and path. Rob and Frances have really good ideas and they are very methodical with attention to detail. They are very tidy workers and always cleared up after each day’s work. Nothing is too much trouble and I would definitely recommend 1 to One Garden Design. In fact my neighbours are now using their services with a more contempary design.

1 to 1 is an excellent company. Some years ago, they created a lovely garden for me when I acquired a new-build house. More recently, again with their care and attention to detail, they adapted another garden for me. Frances and her team have expert knowledge and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. They listen carefully to my ideas and carry them out whilst also making suggestions that add much to make the garden quite perfect.

Our garden was planned just as we wanted it with some brilliant ideas that we would never have thought. The patio, stepping stone path and dry stone wall were installed with great skill and attention to detail. We loved the planting. The garden has become even more beautiful with time.

Sam and his team have recently completed a front garden project at our property which we are very pleased with. The project involved driveway setts with integral lighting, design and installation of corten steel feature and steps, planting design and plant selection, new turf lawn, lighting and irrigation installation. I have always wanted a pond but until recently we thought we had nowhere to put one in our garden. Then we met Dave who enthusiastically told us he could build one for us on our sloping, unused bit of grass. We weren't quite sure what we wanted or what we were expecting. Dave guided us and he and his team have built an amazing pond and surround which will provide a fantastic feature in the garden as well as being a haven for wildlife. We are really looking forward to planting the area and incorporating it into our garden. Dave and his team were brilliant; always cheerful and considerate despite terrible weather. We are delighted with their work.

Alex was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We had him booked to remove a large conifer and despite being let down on the day by one of his team being ill, he managed to find a replacement climber and keep the job on schedule. His quote was competitive and the whole job was completed to an excellent standard (lots of effort made not to damage our property, etc). It was an absolute pleasure to find Alex following a recommendation from my own gardener. We had to sadly remove a eucalyptus tree that was leaning precariously and having met Alex prior to doing any works we decided that we wanted to use him for more projects in our garden. He is a consummate professional, respectful, knowledgeable, a fantastic time keeper and along with Cameron (another Woodland pro) completed the job within the time frame originally discussed. I will not hesitate to use Alex again and cannot recommend him highly enough. I would have taken photos but was looking after one of my grandchildren at the time!
