We engaged Hannon Garden Care to remove an out of control 7m long connifer hedge at the front of our home and replace with 14 new mature privet hedge plants. They also installed two concrete gate posts for us. We're really pleased with not only the end result, but also how professional Tom and team were when carrying out the works. They were clean and tidy throughout, removing all the green waste. Their communication was great from the moment we contacted them and all the way through the works. The after care advise they gave for our new hedges was brilliant too. We'd definitely use Hannon Garden Care again and will be recommending them to friends and family.

Tom and Paul have just spent the day cutting back my overgrown conifer hedge and shrubs and generally clearing up my slightly neglected untidy looking garden! I’m so pleased with the end result. It now looks more open and well maintained and ready for winter. They were both knowledgeable, efficient, tidy and friendly and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Hannon Garden Care removed an old hedge that was dying and replaced it with laurels. They worked so hard and we are really pleased with the new laurels, it looks lovely. I was very fortunate to be introduced to Kirk when I was looking for someone to extend a very old brick wall along the frontage of my property. He was quite remarkable as he is a perfectionist and his attention to detail is quite extraordinary. He sourced old bricks, every one of which needed to have the old mortar removed, and with meticulous attention to detail and working tirelessly he has seamlessly blended the new with the old. Kirk has delivered two Landscaping projects for us and both times he was a joy to deal with and produced exactly what we were after with excellent craftsmanship. The stone walling and patio have proven to be real eye catching elements of our outside space and helped us maximise our outdoor space. Both projects were also excellent value for money. Kirk was a massive find for us. He laid a path in the back garden up to a block paved seating area done in the design of an ammonite. It was beautifully done and just what we had in mind. I added a 100 million year old ammonite fossil to be the centre piece! Kirk was punctual, hard working, neat, accurate with the work and responsive to ideas and discussion as the project progressed. If you need any hardscaping work done, I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

We have had the pleasure of working with Raine during the last 18 months or so, during the design and construction phases of our fabulous garden project, which has just been completed. We connected with Raine instantly; she took the time to understand our vision, how we would use the garden, and the kind of family we are, not missing out the children’s and the dog’s needs with our outdoor space. With her brief she then prepared excellent plans (she has fantastic drawing skills) to put our vision on paper. There were some changes along the way, but Raine proved to be extremely flexible, responsive, open and throughout the entire process she went out of her way to ensure that we were always happy. Raine has excellent communication skills too, and there were regular updates and prompt replies to all of our queries. Raine’s attention and eye for detail is faultless and we also appreciate that she was so honest and not scared of challenging our opinions. Today we are so grateful that we listened to her expert views. We are demanding clients and I’d say sometimes probably ‘qwirky’ people, but she wasn’t fazed by it. We had so many laughs throughout the process too, and I think it’s fair to say Raine got a real insight into our family life through our many chats, not all garden related! Raine has an outstanding working relationship with the landscaping professionals that she recommended, and they too delivered everything as agreed, and more. Our fabulous new garden was worth the wait, and we are truly delighted and look forward to see our garden mature and to enjoy it for years to come.

We moved into our dream house five years ago but whilst the house was perfect, the garden was a real disappointment for me - an awkward L shape with various slopes. On Raine’s first visit, she was keen to understand our vision for the garden before suggesting any ideas of her own. She was also cognisant of my desire to do as much of the work as possible. Raine identified the need to open up the rear of our kitchen in order to integrate the new garden with our home and was keen that we do this first, even if it meant delaying the start of the garden project. Raine is direct in her communications and will challenge you but that is exactly what we needed in order to achieve our perfect garden. Raine delivered on her brief in spades - we now have a modern garden which looks and feels twice the size that it did before, and with great entertaining space. The connection of the garden with the kitchen has made all the difference, and we now have the dream garden to go with our dream home! Raine's knowledge of garden design and her way with people are really quite extraordinary. Our garden was unloved, lacking soul and not a space we could enjoy as a family. We love entertaining, but had always felt confined to being inside when we had guests or parties. Raine opened our eyes to the world of garden design and worked with us to design an incredible outdoor space that we are not only immensely proud of, but has changed the way we live. Raine continually challenged us to see the bigger picture and also to trust the process. She was so reassuring and drew on her experience and expertise to solve problems along the way, producing solutions that were creative and practical in equal measure. We contacted David for advice on tree planting - he visited and listened carefully to our needs, and was able to talk us through our options clearly, despite our own lack of knowledge of gardens, trees and anything green! When it came to planting the trees, felling an unwanted tree, adding some new lawn, David and his team were very professional and finished it to the highest standard. We're now getting Wrights' services to do some maintenance, to keep some of our larger trees in check.

It was such a pleasure to have Carl as our garden designer. We wanted to go with simplified version of Japanese garden due to slightly tight budget. Carl was able to produce the perfect plan and able to fit all the elements we wanted into the design. While Japanese garden is the type that required additional features and greens, Carl was able to sort out the design and the stages for development so we don’t need to do everything at once and still have the garden look stunning. He was very good at listening to ideas and then provide suggestions or alternatives to keep the money down and still achieve the look! We were so happy with the process and experience so we ended up having him design and construct our front garden as well. We will definitely ask him to come back and continue enriching our garden.

Carl designed our garden for us, taking it from a neglected new build strip of grass to a landscaped space that we now use all the time in warmer weather. Sarah is a wonderful landscape designer. Not only is she hugely creative and knowledgeable, she is also brilliant and taking a brief and understanding what her clients really are trying to achieve. Our garden was dull and our house looked like it was floating on a sea of grass. She designed a large patio with a low dry stone wall around it and beautifully planted borders on the outside. Now we have a stunning display throughout the year and our house feels (and looks) so much more like a home should! I wanted a cottagey planting scheme, soft to the eye, with lots of curves. She has completely understood what I found hard to put into words. I can’t recommend her highly enough!
