Elmscape did our driveway, rebuilt our porch, levelled and laid porcelain tiles in our garden, replanted our borders and resolved many ongoing smaller issues! Renée is so friendly and knowledgeable, it was a real pleasure to show her my garden and listen to her advice and ideas. I didn’t want someone to do my garden for me, just help to get started again and that is exactly what Renée provides. The time in the garden combined with the follow up report and plant suggestions were exactly what I needed.

When I started thinking about what to do with our new garden I called in Renee for a Hoedown to discuss ideas I had, trees and plants that would work in our garden and how to lay it out with hard landscaping. The hour flew by and we covered a LOT of information - Renee summarised our chat later with a written report which has been invaluable and I refer back to it often! Have already recommended her to friends and would definitely use her again - her FaceBook group is also really useful too!

Renee came to help me with what I had in my garden - still based around plants/bushes inherited when we bought the house several years before. We have a lot of sun one side and partial sun because of a fence the other. She identified some plants I didn't know what they were, told me to take one out and pot it in a compost which was brilliant - it flowered beautifully and I've had it in pride of place on my front doorstep. I've moved some plants, dug up some things (I couldn't bring myself to before she told me I should!) and things have really developed - this is now about two years later and I love looking out into the garden both in Spring and Summer now I have a mix of different shrubs and flowers, thanks to her help. We had a great ‘hoedown’ with Renee! Having recently had an extension our garden was completely ruined and so needed advice on how we might start to use the new space. Renee gave us lots of inspiration (and hope!) that we could get it sorted!! We discussed planters, sleepers, pergolas, plants, trees and shapes/spaces. Following our hoedown we got a very detailed document containing all the ideas we discussed which was so useful and something we can keep referring back to. Well, where do we begin. We initially contacted Simon to discuss replacing our patio. It was very clear at our first meeting that we were going to have more than a new patio. Simon's vision, design, and creativity blew our minds. We had to wait for the work to start due to his busy workload, but it was so worth the wait. The team was with us for around 4 months. Totally professional and extremely hardworking. Simon always talked us through each stage of the project. Well, we are now the proud owners of an AMAZING outside space. This project has far exceeded our expectations, and if we ever had any doubts along the wsy, Simon would always tell us to "trust the process," and that's exactly what we did. To say that we’re absolutely delighted with our new garden would be an understatement. Simon, Blake and Shane did an outstanding job from start to finish and have been a true pleasure to work with. Simon and the team did an absolutely brilliant job of refurbing our whole garden and building a new garden room to be used as a home office and extra living space. He's a perfectionist and made sure everything was finished to a really high standard and that we were happy before leaving us. He listened carefully to what we wanted and offered helpful advice when we weren't sure. He managed all aspects of the work including bringing in an electrician to run power and internet down to the garden room. He was really clear with costs and timings from beginning to end and maintained excellent communications throughout. On top of all that he and his team were all lovely guys and I had no worries giving them a set of keys to the garden and access to our house when we weren't around. I was almost sad to see them go once it was all finished! We'll be getting them back to sort out the front garden when he's available!

This was not a difficult review to write. From start to finish it was an enjoyable, fun, stress free experience. Our garden is beautiful and we are immensely proud of it. We could not have asked for more. Simon’s advice on all things was invaluable; design, materials, and maintenance – we have no doubt without him we would not have the garden we do. He kept us up to date throughout the project, discussed fully any challenges, including budgets, and made suggestions as to how to overcome them. Simon, Jodie and Tristan had a great work ethic, they were reliable, trustworthy, respectful and a pleasure to have around, we actually miss them! Their talent and experience was very obvious. We have had a total renovation and the end result is stunning. The project management was impressive and efficient - everything was planned, prepared and ordered. All fences were replaced and additions made. Planters, decking, replacement artificial turf, hot tub installed and all new plants – this all happened in 3 weeks! To say I am pleased with the work is an understatement, it has actually given me something money cannot buy and for that I will always be grateful to Simon and his team. My ethos is that when it comes to something as personal as your home you need to find people that you connect with, that understands your goals and visions and we definitely found that with Simon, and I am of the opinion he would give as much to each project, big or small, as he did to ours. The Ground Team came to the rescue to tidy up the garden of a property that I had inherited. They were reliable and kept the garden tidy over a number of months before the house was sold. As I was doing this from a distance, they sent through pictures of how it looked and were always responsive on email so I felt like everything was in hand.

Michael and his team installed a gravel driveway in our property. Michael gave good advice on the type of driveway and didn't push us towards the more expensive material. He was responsive in amending the quote, and getting samples to us. The quoted price was higher than competitors, but we selected Michael based on quality of previous works we saw. The approximate start date was about right. The works were done efficiently. The team were all very pleasant and the work area was kept clean and tidy. There was a minor misunderstanding on the cross-over stones. Michael organised replacement stones without quibbles. The new driveway looks great. Overall, a great experience.

Michael and his team are incredibly skilled and detail oriented, which is exactly what I was looking for in this update to our Victorian home using traditional methods and detail. To find a landscaper who can do the larger more industrial elements and the tiny details of the tiling work here is very rare. Would recommend to anyone.

Michael was meticulous with his quotes, making it clear exactly what everything costed, breaking it down by the various areas. This was incredibly useful as the project changed as it progressed because I added or removed things and it was clear to see the impact on the budget. Originally I was going to have a different team install the gym, cocktail bar and changing room / outside shower, however having seen examples of what Michael had built previously, and because the quote was comparable, I went with him. The brief for the cocktail bar was a photo of a bar I liked. The finished result exceeded my expectations. The team were an absolute pleasure to work with. They turned up on time every day for 12-months, despite having the most rain on record over that period, and were always pleasant and respectful. In fact I had friends who’s landscapers didn’t turn up in bad weather. The quality of the work is exceptional and this is all down to Michael’s desire to provide his clients with the best finish at the most cost-effective price. Yes you could find a landscaper who is cheaper but that always means the quality and reliability suffers. He saved me £000’s on the original quote by recommending alternative products. Which leads me to Michael’s ‘little black book’! He has the most extensive range of contacts you would ever need. Michael sourced the lighting, irrigation, pool repairs, electrician, plasterers, decorators, IT / communications equipment, etc. He also worked closely with the hot tub and sauna suppliers. I can’t recommend M Withall Landscapes more highly.
