We had a wonderful Sunday roast while sitting outside, enjoying the beautiful views of the fields. The food was not only delicious but also complemented by the friendly and attentive service. The menu offers a great variety of options, catering to all tastes, which makes it even more appealing. This place is quickly becoming one of our favorite spots

Best Sunday Roast ever. Superbly presented and incredible tasty. Succulent meat and a real Yorkshire pudding. Great atmosphere and good service. Jack was especially welcoming and friendly. We been several times and thought it deserved a mention.

What a beautiful setting for a drink/meal. It was lovely weather mind & the sunset was spectacular! We went for a drink which turned into a meal but was close to Closing the kitchen. The friendly staff accommodated us & we sat outside & had a beautifully cooked steak whilst taking in the lowering sun. It’s easy access for wheelchairs, large car park & there’s a very good sized garden for children to play in. They also allow dogs on leads. Would highly recommend this pub.

We’ve been to this pub a few times. Standout is the service and the location, and just the beautiful building. The food is also really good. The ONLY thing I don’t like is the selection of beers/ciders on tap, they only serve the products of a local brewery. We always enjoy going and the kids love the garden. We will keep coming back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Joshua Tree Restaurant in Redhill, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff . But the real star of the show was the food – oh, the food! We ordered a variety of dishes, and each one was more delicious than the last. The flavors were bold, the presentation was impeccable, and the portion sizes were generous. Overall, I would highly recommend Joshua Tree Restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in Redhill. We can't wait to go back!

This was our first visit and sadly can't foresee a repeat in the near future as I live in the US and my friend lives in Norway. Our AirB&B host, Nancy, highly recommended it, and she was right. Food, service, and atmosphere were all superlative. Coupled with great value, it's an absolute gem of a place. We shared their Daily Special (sorry, can't remember the name) because they only had 1 portion left). It was a generously portioned dish beautifully served in a clay pot. It was so delicious that you wouldn't leave any single morsel. The staff were warmly welcoming and attentive without being intrusive - just perfect. The chef (or the owner? I wasn't sure) sent us another dish of their delicious Deep Fried Okra (on the house) just because they saw how much I enjoyed it. I agree with Nancy. We highly recommend it!

Really impressed with food, on par with top London restaurants, been here 2 times food has been outstanding, I’ve eaten in India and this food is a step above so many places I’ve been to in the uk - staff are super friendly and accommodating, cannot fault

What a gem of a pub! We popped into The Bell on Sunday for a roast and... boy, did we strike gold! 🟡⛏️ The food was mouthwateringly delicious, with the meat seasoned to perfection and the veggies (root veggies, you rockstars) stealing the show. And the portions? Let's just say you might need to loosen a notch or two on your belt. The service was zippy and super polite, making us feel right at home. We did miss out on the fabulous outdoor seating at the back (rookie mistake), but we still caught some rays post-feast☀️. This charming old pub has a fantastic vibe, and it's a definite must-visit. Kudos to the whole team! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Top marks all round for this country pub and restaurant. Pleased to see they source produce from the local BrightLeigh farm and was one of the reasons we chose to visit. Staff were all welcoming and friendly, service was good and the food was excellent. Loved being able to sit outside and enjoy the Sunday afternoon. Highly recommended

The food was great but the service was not so great. Waited 50 minutes from the time of ordering for the food to arrive. There were only 5 other tables with people at so not massively busy. No one came to clear the table or ask if we wanted dessert. I had to go up to the bar to get the menu and order them.

After a long uphill walk any Pub in the Storm !! But this one was a Cracker. Lovely welcome and soon pints of Green King IPA (£4.50) and Speckled Hen were drawn from the well kept cellar Lots folk around we're taking luncheon from a different and interesting menu. Next time the range of Omelettes on the lunch menu are reasonably priced (£8.00) and well worth it from what we saw. Others enjoyed the burger and some the White Bait. Only slight comment perhaps would be there was no Guest Ale and as both local Breweries (Godstone & Larkins) offer really fine ales it would be nice to see this pub support at least one of them. But that's a beer monster opinion. It does not detract from a fine pub with loadsa interesting stuff to enjoy. We will return.

Hands down the best pub in the local area. Food is excellent, staff are always really nice. Plus, the pub is now dog-friendly and has been for a few years. Dogs can’t go in the pub itself, however the undercover seating area is lovely (as pictured here) and comfortable, so we were quite happy being able to take our pooch out for lunch with us. The food and beers are really reasonably priced too. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful lunch at The Red Lion on the way down to Bognor from Colchester. Service was super friendly, prompt and professional. Beer was good and the Streak & Kidney pudding hit the spot. Thank you !

My family & I booked The Home Cottage for my late husband's funeral reception. The staff handled the booking, the assigned area for us, plus the food and drinks to perfection. They were simply marvellous. The food was good. Their fried chips grabed my guests attention much so that we asked for seconds. They obliged. The room was warm and well ventilated. Their facilities were clean and easy to access and use. My sincere thanks to The Home Cottage for making my guests and family feel welcome on such a sad occasion.

Great place to either have a drink, quick snack or 3 course meal. Lovely place to eat & drink in a traditional atmosphere. Visited late Saturday afternoon and despite very busy and a private party being organised, the service was brilliant. Greeted and shown to our table by our server Karina. Choice of ordering at bar or in app. Ordered on app after being given recommendations from Karina. Considering how busy they were food was served very quickly and with a friendly smile. Thanks to James as well for the delicious mocktail!

The Home Cottage regularly host wine tastings, complete with lovely small plates, all guided by the wonderful Poppy! Not only is the food 10/10, but Poppy’s knowledge of the wine is superb. Such an engaging evening, excellent value for money - could not recommend more!

We hired out their back room for a family celebration for around 25 people. Great service, fantastic atmosphere and really good value. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a small get together.

We have our annual post Xmas celebration here every year with family who aren’t local to us and this is our midway meeting point . I have to say this year the welcome and service was better than ever . Because there were a lot of us they put us in the private dining area and were attentive throughout. Food was delicious and enjoyed by everyone The menu offers traditional pub grub like burgers and fish and Chips but also offers other tasty options like my cod loin on a spicy layer of beans. Can highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding and brownies too. Log fires warm and welcoming too..

Really nice pub with good food. The service is friendly and the vibe inside is really nice with other pub goers seeming super friendly and chill. Lots of seating and tables. The food was good. Baked Camembert starter was delicious. The fish I had was really nice too with good flavours however it was just slightly overcooked for me (it wasn’t super overcooked or anything but it has been cooked a tiny bit longer than that just cooked point).the sauce the fish was in was also a little bit too salty for me. The pie and mash was really nice too.

Where do I start ! It’s a mixture of feelings about the whole experience we have encountered. First of all , I must say it’s one of the most beautifully decorated pubs I’ve ever been to. It’s clean , vibrant and cozy. Simply sublime! I’ve given 5* based on the atmosphere.. We booked on a special occasion. It was my partners birthday. I have specifically asked on the booking that candle on a dessert, which never happened..We arrived little early to have a drink in the bar, my fault I didn’t request , but staff never bothered either. It would have been nice to be asked to have a drink in the bar! More money for you but then hey ! We’ve ordered a bottle of wine , waiter just left it on the table without even opening it, not asking for me to try and it was extremely unprofessional I thought. Especially the restaurant wasn’t even busy !!! The food was good. My partners steak was amazing, although my mackerel dish was lacking flavour. When I added salt, lemon and pepper, it was good. But not something I would order again. Overall, the management needs to take a moment of training the staff i thought. This is a beautiful establishment and I really think it deserves more. Little touches can go long way . I wish them all the success and I will return, but not in a hurry!

A proper lovley country pub. I had a fantastic meal - really hot and fresh.. Was super proud of the young blonde waitress who served us. She was left running the show on her own and dealing with two large parties. Would definitely go back!

Lovely pub lunch for Fathers day. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The kids 2 and 4 enjoyed the ship and slide in the garden whilst waiting for food. Wasn't a long wait for food and highchairs available for children. Good sizes for kids meals. Sunday roast was lovely, would have liked more vegetables but parsnips and stuffing were great. Booked in advance on website which was easy.

We recently had our wedding at Nutfield, and I can honestly say it was the most incredible experience. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make our special day seamless and unforgettable. The venue itself was stunning, but what truly made the difference was the exceptional service we received. A special shoutout to Peter and his team, who were absolutely amazing. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and warmth made us feel completely at ease throughout the day. Whether it was ensuring every guest was looked after or handling last-minute adjustments, nothing was too much trouble for them. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Nutfield to anyone looking for a perfect wedding venue. Thank you for making our day so special!

I regularly stay here for work and it's always a pleasure. The team go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and have everything you need. Rooms are lovely, clean and spacious. The touch I appreciated today was the lovely lady on the front desk taking note of how cold I get (I'd asked for extra blankets) and suggesting to add to my preferences for winter to put me in a warmer room if possible. I didn't even know that was possible but it's such a lovely touch! Thank you again team!

We stayed for three nights between Christmas and New Year in a superior double room. The room was spotless and beautifully appointed, very comfortable bed. I had an issue with the evening servicing of the room which was only carried out once during my stay. The breakfast was disappointing. The cold selection was limited and very portion controlled. Service was slow and the hot food wasn't very good. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and again the food was poor and our order was muddled up resulting in meals arriving at different times. The staff were friendly and tried hard to give good service but they were let down by the chefs. It was expensive and I didn't feel that it was value for money. However I would stay again and it is in a beautiful location and well maintained hotel.

My partner and I received a Christmas gift for a Luxury Spa Day with treatment and afternoon tea and we booked it in for Monday this week. We received a very warm welcome from Jack who explained everything to us. We both had a full body massage and we both said it had to be one of the best massages we've ever had. I had Kaitlyn (my partner can't remember the name of his therapist). We took time to enjoy the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, and then had our afternoon tea which was delicious. Lovely little details like herbal teas and fresh pastries to nibble on if getting peckish. It really was a fantastic quality day. Thank you

Fantastic hidden gem! Great family friendly pub with country feel Lovely play area outside for the children, an enclosed lake and ducks Plastic kids cups and kids cutlery! Huge tick for us with an autistic child Food was absolutely delicious, proper old fashioned pub grub, will definitely be returning!

We had a lovely Sunday lunch. The staff were very accommodating, brought colouring in for the child in our party. The food was a huge portion and really tasty - but what stood out to us the most was the service. The staff were so warm and friendly and we felt very looked after.
