I don’t normally ever leave reviews but I drove over an hour to meet a friend for dinner and it was well worth the drive! The staff were lovely and attentive and it had a few parties even on a Tuesday night. All of the food was delicious and really generous portions. It was easily located with free local car park close by. We will definitely be back!

Best restaurant in Dorking! Another great evening and amazing food at Rooster Kitchen. Always friendly and good service. Food portions very large and tasty. Thank you for the great service and food. Shame we will be away from Dorking soon but will definitely be back again when we are in the area.

An outstanding evening meal for a family birthday. This is the second time I have eaten here and it really is superb. Beautifully decorated, with luxury touches. The menu is detailed so needs to be studied. The food is cooked and presented to perfection. Even the salad leaf, tossed in oil tastes amazing! We were a party of 5 and ate starters, mains, just 1 dessert and coffees. Everything we had was exceptional. The owner greets you like family and really makes the experience a special one. We visited on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was busy.. this isn’t surprising considering the quality of food, service and ambience. One of the nicest local restaurants I have been to. Highly recommended.

Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Definitely going again and will add to my list of places to go. Only comment was it was quite noisy due to being busy and the contemporary design. Won't stop me from going though

I've visited for lunch and dinner on a number of occasions now, and always the food and service are just excellent. The staff are warm and attentive, without being over friendly. But when you open up a conversion yourself, they are more than happy to engage with you for a chat. The food is without fail both delicious and beautifully presented. Great wine choices too. It's a restaurant that seems to like to play down its presence in the town - there's no shouting about special offers on social media. And they've never asked us to do a review (which is partly why I'm doing one!) But the truth is that it's my absolute favourite restaurant in Dorking or anywhere nearby.

Gorgeous restaurant, much bigger than you expect! As a non-drinker I HIGHLY recommend the peach juice - that was a total delight! The food was great, service was quick, tasty, healthy, fresh. I had the seabream for main which was beautiful and the Tirimisu was gorgeous. My friend had pistachio ice cream which was also delicious! Highly recommend for a special meal or occasion.

Really nice restaurant. East to book online. Nice venue. Lovely staff. Good selection of dishes and foods good as well as good value This time was a Sunday brunch for 4 adults but also previously cateredfir our veggie familiy and grandchildren. This is why we returned.

We were greeted at the door with a friendly smile and shown to a clean and well-presented table. The menu offered a good variety of food, and the dishes were beautifully cooked with generous portion sizes. The staff were friendly, helpful, and engaging, and we want to give them a special thank you. We will definitely return when we visit Dorking again.

Absolutely superb. It was difficult to choose something from the diverse menu. I eventually chose the ravioli and it was nicely presented and absolutely delicious. It is extremely rare that I finish a meal, but I did this time, and it was wonderful. The levels of customer service were top-notch. The members of staff were lovely, exceptionally welcoming, attentive and knew the menu. They were able to answer questions adeptly. The male member of staff who served me was really nice, friendly and had a good sense of humour. The restaurant was very clean and I liked the way in which it was decorated. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I would recommend this place 100%. ***We attended this restaurant again, namely in March 2022. The members of staff were exceptionally welcoming. again, I was impressed by the diversity of the menu and the excellent range of vegeterian and non-vegetarian options. Delicious Lunch at Arto, Dorking I recently had the pleasure of dining at Arto in Dorking for lunch, and I was thoroughly impressed. I opted for the duck breast, which was cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The dish was complemented by perfectly cooked broccoli, adding a lovely crunch and freshness. The dauphinoise potatoes were absolutely divine — rich, creamy, and indulgent without being too heavy. The balance of flavors and textures was spot-on, and the presentation was beautifully done. The service was friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Arto for anyone looking for a quality meal in a charming setting!

By far the best pub in the southeast! Views 10/10 Food 10/10 Service 10/10 and Staff 11/10!! Georgia just makes the whole experience that bit better! Will be coming back as much as we can be! Definitely worth the visit 🤍

Me and my parnter stopped here on the way back from Box Hill for lunch, we were welcomed with exceptional service from the team,made to feel right at home. There was a log fire going and the atmosphere was superb. We had fish and chips and the burger, the food came out promptly and was delicisous. One of the best pub experiences we've had, highly reccomend!

The 6 bells has recently been taken over by new owner/chef. They are still busy completing the refurbishment on the inside but the garden has been completed and refurnished. The venue already has an amazing atmosphere and the staff are really professional and friendly. The food at the moment is really good so excited to see what is coming. Definitely worth a visit.

A beautiful pub with wonderful staff and excellent food. They welcomed my 17 year old puppy with treats and praise. They accommodated the weird requests from my 8 year old nephew. They made us welcome and we had an amazing Christmas meal. It was so good I forgot to take photos of the main meal but here are the starters and cheese board

On Saturday evening, we visited the Ruby Supper Club for the first time, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences we've had in a long while. The setting was perfect—nestled in a charming little corner adorned with fairy lights. The food was exceptional; compliments to the chef for every course. The staff were incredibly friendly and cheerful, always eager to assist whenever needed. We will definitely be hurrying back at the first opportunity!

One of the best establishments that I’ve been to, it’s unlike any other place that I’ve been to before. It was a Truly magical evening. The ambiance is superb, I highly recommend this restaurant, the food was extraordinary, truly Devine, I can’t quite decide which dish was my favourite as everything that we tried was delicious. The cocktails are amazing!! , The service was fantastic and the staff are very attentive. Our evening was everything that we hoped it would be, had a fantastic night, I Would definitely come back again and I highly recommend to everyone and anyone

Absolutely fantastic place for food and drinks. Service staff were incredibly kind and were navigating the tricky terrain with ease. My only critique was that the poppadoms were a little stale but the flavours of the chutneys and the poppadoms itself made this detail pretty negligible and I reckon this was highly likely a one off with the sheer quality of the food produced. With a table of 12 people, everything was handled perfectly (which I know is very difficult to do with large groups coming from a service background myself!) Jo and Ruby have great staff, great food and a gorgeous atmosphere. We brought our own blankets but we were very pleased to find some provided for us after an early autumn chill has come upon us in the last week! Definitely get yourself down to this spot. Good job team 🫶🏻

We were a table of eight and we had an amazing experience at The Ruby Supper Club! The Anglo-Indian cuisine was absolutely delicious, with every dish thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavour. The setting was incredible and cozy, which made the evening feel really special. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and it felt like a truly unique dining experience. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, I highly recommend booking a table.

What a beautiful place! My husband and I popped in for breakfast, and every part of our meal was fantastic. The ingredients are really topped quality, and cooked with such attention to detail. Service was fabulous.

One of my absolute favourite places, and can't believe I haven't written a review before! Fabulous food, both brunch and pizza. We always feel very welcomed and whenever the menu changes it's super exciting to find out what absolute genius meals they've come up with again! (Although I do miss the Mexican eggs, so crossing my fingers they'll be back this summer!) If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!

Favourite place to eat by a mile! I frequently visit and they are always consistent. Exceptional quality, exceptional staff, (they pick their staff carefully and it shows) imaginative seasonal menu, fair pricing (cheapest place for takeaway coffee), and a warm, friendly laidback atmosphere with great decor. Always top of my list to recommend ✨

Little trip to Dorking from London. No idea what to expect frankly having little experience outside London. Cozy pub with a great progressive menu, starring vegan, dairy free options, and wines by the glass via coravin. Would recommend the beetroot hummus for sure. Though they need to include double the amount of pita with it. We had to order another serving of pita. The short rib was huge and may be shareable if not starving.

An excellent dining experience with superlative food but let down by the service. The pub is lovely. Really nicely decorated, feels welcoming and warm but still a sense of modernism. Great for smaller and bigger groups. The food is fantastic. Really really excellent. Had the Sunday lunch - superb. Probably one of the best I’ve had. Everything was done very well. Giving a 4 stars as the service let it down. Service was friendly and good when we had it. Otherwise it was quite inattentive and slightly frustrating. I think they just need more servers. Otherwise, highly recommend

Great roast. Tender beef, rich gravy, perfect pudding. We also got crumble for dessert and it was one of the best I’ve had. I ate it before I could take a picture, but it had a perfect balance of fruit and custard. It wasn’t too sweet, which is perfect for me.

The Queen’s Head did an excellent job of accommodating our choir’s party of 25 people (under a time deadline as we were due to be performing in the nearby St Paul’s Church). The service was friendly and the food good - most of us had the fish and chips which was super-tasty. Most impressive of all was the way they successfully dealt with the bill, with each person paying separately!

Whether you're looking to unwind with friends or simply savor the charm of a classic pub, this place is well worth a visit. Fridays wouldn’t be the same without it!

Went out mid week for the pizza deal. Two pizza’s for £20. Pizza’s were really tasty! Only bad thing about the evening was the weather! We were hoping to sit outside as it is so pretty with the lights. All the bar staff seem very nice and friendly.

I discovered this wonderful pub by chance, on a cold dark night while trying to find an elderly client (I am a domicile carer). I went in to ask directions and received such a wonderful welcome and assistance. Matt the manager immediately linked my mobile phone to their internet and then proceeded to search the address I couldn’t find. He was so kind and obviously was able to direct me to the location I needed. When I returned home my partner said on my next day off we would go for a meal, which we did today! Again, lovely warm welcome and clever personal touch by reserving our table with my name on a slate on the table. We enjoyed the leek, potato and cauliflower soup of the day and I had the superb sticky and oh so wonderful super tasty chicken wings to start. Terry then had a very generous portion of bangers (3) & mash with seasonal veg and gravy, and I had the minced beef and ale pie with mash, veg and gravy. So very good, we were both so sated that there was no room for pudding but there’s always next time! Extremely good value for money too coming to approx £35 each including drinks.

We had Sunday lunch here yesterday. Food was good, portions great, although Yorkshire puddings were stale. But expensive for what you get and their prices are different on their website to in house, so be aware of that. Kids loved playing the play area, but the swings had been wrapped around the top bar, so couldn’t be used. Wasps were a persistent problem.

Where to start! Absolute gem of a find in Dorking. The food is a 10/10, we eat at a lot of Turkish places, this new find tops them all. Very exciting for us 😅 Staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Music is lovely, sets a laid back mood. Even served Turkish baklavas and authentic Turkish tea to finish. Just wonderful…see you next week!!

As soon as we got to the door, the lovely staff opened the door for us and showed us to our table. Very friendly and smiley. It was a lovely welcome! We ordered food and drinks, both came promptly. The mezze platter was amazing! Such lovely flavoursome bits to share. The chicken shish was divine! Full of flavour, juicy and the rice was so good. My friend loved the mixed grill. We asked for the bill and a plate of baklava and tea appeared. The baklava was soooo good! Not too sweet. The tea was a lovely way to end the meal. Highly recommend Turkuaz. Lovely staff, great food!

Popped in for a coffee. The cappuccino and the frappe were both lovely. Waitress took her time with us and gave advice as to what she'd pick. She was right. Friendly staff. Halloween look inside with a Christmassy smell was perfect to have a relaxing moment.

Food was great, with the exception of the apple strudel desert which was pretty much two bitesize pieces for close to £10. It wasn't bad, just too small. Actually, I would have liked the grumpy mole pie to have been double the size but I tend to eat more than most. Service was cheerful and mostly good but getting a first drink was slower than hoped which explained why many who came in after us ordered their first drink at the bar (treat that as a tip).

Nice cosy place. Very busy with no spaces in their car park at 14:15 on Sunday. Diners packed in tightly in the restaurant which meant it was a noisy environment. Good food around £20 average for mains. Friendly staff but busy. We waited 15 mins for the bill and then again to pay. Finally we got up and paid at the bar on the way out. May return, but would be at a quieter time/day.
