Brilliant local spot! Went for lunch with the family on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised to see that they do their full dinner menu at lunchtime! Personally had the vegetable noodle soup to start and the Chicken Shashlik with the avocado salad, both of which had very generous portion sizes and very delicious! Extremely friendly and helpful staff who were very accommodating to one of our party who is in an electric wheelchair. 5/5 stars, definitely will be going again!

Our first, but not last visit to Vicky’s. If you haven’t tried it yet then you must. Don’t expect your food served quickly, dishes are prepared individually and cooking takes time, sit back, enjoy the company, drink in the decor and savour the ambience. Everything about our lunchtime visit was delightful.

All the dishes were delicious. From starters to dessert. The cabbage rolls, the goulash pancake, the chicken shashlik and the chimney cake being the main highlights. All of it felt and tasted home cooked with good quality ingredients. We cannot wait to return and try more of their menu. The restaurant environment is very cozy and all the staff are kind and efficient. Well worth the drive or train ride to the beautiful village of Haslemere. You can't find this cuisine easily and it is a welcome change from the usual dinner options in the region.

Not eaten here before, but was tempted by the Hungarian theme. Although I hadn't booked they went out of their way to make a space for me even though it was busy. The food was really nicely presented and tasted delicious. I wasn't rushed at any point and had a very relaxing lunch. Thanks guys!

We are regular customers at Lorenzos as we experience consistently good customer service from Lorenzo himself, and his entire team. Lorenzo provided an exceptional dining experience that deserves nothing short of a 5-star review. Four of us traveled from Warwickshire to meet up with two friends to celebrate a friend's retirement, from the moment we stepped into the restaurant on that winter night, we were greeted with a warmth that extended beyond the cozy atmosphere. Heating was beautiful on really cold night. The seating, notably accommodating for someone with hidden disability problems like myself, was extremely comfortable. Now, let's talk about the food – a culinary journey that began with a mushroom starter bursting with flavors. All six of us unanimously rated each dish, from the starters to the mussels and the main course featuring chicken, prawns, and tuna, with a resounding 5 stars. This wasn't your typical mass-produced pub food; it was a symphony of homemade flavors. Even when faced with the disappointment of a finished crème brûlée on the dessert board, the exceptional service kicked in. The waiter not only informed us promptly but also offered to have it made from scratch, despite the 30-minute wait. This level of dedication left us utterly shocked and grateful. The overall experience, from the delectable food to the outstanding service, exceeded our expectations. It was our first-ever visit, and without a doubt, we will be returning on our next visit to friends in the area. Really great! We came for my Mum's birthday lunch and weren't disappointed. Food was excellent, nice ambience, great service. Plenty of choices for the 2 vegetarians in our group. Desserts were also really very good.

Great service and a great choice of meals. A break from the normal chain run pubs. All meals we had were excellent and fresh. It was nice not to feel rushed between courses. We will definitely go again.

An amazing dog friendly pub, with superb food. We rang to book a table and said we were bringing the dogs. When we arrived, our table included dog treats and a bowl of water. The locals and the staff were really welcoming.

Absolutely loved this pub. The owners are very dog friendly and made a fuss of our dog. We had a table with a bowl of water for her and biscuits. The food was fabulous, hot, tasty and lots of it. I recommend the Sunday lunch.

Lovely meal, haven't been there before. Bit slow on service because they were busy, but worth the wait. My husband had the pie which he said was delightful. I had the ribs which were ok, the triple cooked chips were very nice. I also had sticky toffee pudding which was lovely. They had no pie left for my husband which was a bit disappointing.

Not eaten here yet that's to come, but a lovely pub in a wonderful village, serve a very good pint of Timothy Taylor

We had a Sunday lunch one beef one pork one vegetarian nut roast, all very nice even the nut roast was brilliant very hard for many to get nice. Would definitely advise a visit we will be returning. Also well priced for what we good. Staff all made us welcome and did a brilliant job

I bloody love this place. I brought my parents here for lunch today as they were up visiting me and I knew we'd get excellent food and service. We all opted for the Grimsby Haddock and chips with mushy peas and they were magnificent! The fish was enormous and I ended up only having a handful of the lovely chips as a result, but it was so tasty - as if we were having fish and chips at the seaside. The staff as always were very friendly and the service was perfect. I hadn't been in the garden before but it is a lovely little suntrap and we enjoyed it immensely. This pub is also very dog friendly and having 3 dogs along with us was no problem at all. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly to anyone looking for some lovely grub in a friendly environment.

We had a very tasty Sunday Lunch, in a lovely atmosphere and were served by a lovely waitress. Highly recommended

We had hunters chicken and pies all were delicious. Parking was good. Very cold in the restaurant. A couple of hiccups with booking time and not being able to pay by card which held us up getting food.

Such a treat to celebrate a friend's birthday here. We ordered a meat platter for four and it was absolutely massive; more than enough food! It was really delicious, although some of the meats were slightly on the salty side so be aware if you're sensitive to that. Otherwise, we had such a great time and we were also given boxes to takeaway the leftovers which was a huge bonus!

Service is truly brilliant. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Decor is lovely, cosy and welcoming. However food wasn't as great as we had hoped. Quite overpriced to for what we had. The rice bowl had too many conflicting flavours. The ceaser side was delicious but really just very expensive lettuce with tasty source. Short rib had great flavour and was beautifully smokey but a bit too fatty for our liking. Lovely venue just wish the food had been better

Amazing food! Massive portions! Great value for money. Lovely service. Very friendly and helpful. Lots of different areas to sit so feels private and comfortable. Open log fires. Great atmosphere. I had the BBQ sharing platter for 2 people. It could easily have fed 3. Succulent meat. Extremely tasty. Highly recommend!

Had Chicken Wings to Start and Pork Belly for Main. Brilliant Food, lovely service and the theme of US in an old English Pub is brilliant. Had a great meal with all the family.

A lovely open space at bar entrance, where we sat to dine (table reserved). Pub was clean, decorated, nicely furnished, accepting behaved dogs too! Sunday roast meals were quaint, stacked with Yorkshire pudding, however the pork had no crackling & the potatoes weren't well roasted. Otherwise a nice place, would like to return again midweek to try again!

We had a lovely meal here, great setting, very relaxed! The menu is smaller than previous visits but everything was done extremely well. Our starters were ordered wrong but what we did have was excellent! Squid & Hummus to start both very tasty. I had the Eve burger and I was pleasantly surprised at how well executed it was! My husband had the Katsu curry and was impressed also! No desserts for us but we did have coffee which was good, the wine selection is good and the alcohol free beer selection is also really great given its location. We will certainly visit again! The service was good and it was great to see that a new person who was learning the ropes was being well supported!

Called in for a bite to eat. Found it to be very nice inside, good choice of food a drinks available, very good service. We shall happily call again

20+ family members catered for at short notice without fuss. Same no-fuss when a smaller group returned a few weeks later. Friendly, helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble. The food is good too!

First time there had a carvery sat outside was very nice the beef was lovely tender

This is a great pub to visit with seating in and out. All the staff are friendly and good food with decent prices together with kids menu. Good selection of beers and ample parking. Weekends can be busy especially Sunday Carvery but worth sampling and perhaps booking.. Band night is worth keeping an eye out for, so I'm told😜 The only down side guys, is that if you want a quick 'in and out lunch' be it with four or five us, with a pint IMHO you'll finish the pint before it arrives. Although everything is cooked fresh it is worth the wait. However, well worth the stop 😁

My two friends and I came here for an evening meal as we are camping close by and the food was absolutely delicious! The prices for both food and drinks is super affordable considering the quality. The staff were friendly and another bonus is they are dog friendly inside and out- would recommend a visit if you’re close by!

Fabulous meal. Sat outside. Great service . Friendly staff owner served food and she is making a great job of the business. Superb food. Was the top of the bill at £20.50 each but the steaks were superb. Good covered area for owners with dogs - the dogs cannot go into the pub itself which is tricky if you are on your own. Immaculate toilets. This was a spontaneous celebration for a personal major achievement. Great beer too.

Spectacular location and history, went for a quick afternoon tea and stayed much longer than anticipated. The place is a national treasure, the officer’s mess in particular. Great teas and hot chocolates too were a bonus. Cheers!

Amazing venue.. just spent New Year's Eve,on a Gangster and Molls murder mystery night. Everyone looked fabulous in their costumes,and the actors were amazing.... didn't solve the crime, but great fun . The staff,and the food at the buffet was plentiful and delicious,as was the breakfast. Would highly the Petwood Hotel,and it's stunning location.

Today 36 ladies kick started their Christmas with a festive lunch. We had a lovely warm welcome. The room was cosy and festive. We were then served with a delicious lunch which was enjoyed by all. Haddock and chips and tiramisu for dessert. Best meal I've had since I've been here. The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff is warm and super friendly. The service is quick and efficient. Absolutely try the desserts. Any of them will blow your mind.

We called in spur of the moment. Luckily, we were able to get a table. The service was decent, barman/landlord was particularly friendly and helpful. The food was spot on, nicely presented and just the right quantities. Very reasonable meal, 2 mains, s deserts and 2 drinks £42.10. Not at all bad in my opinion, definitely one to revisit.
