Fantastic meal at Positano last night. Superb attentive service whilst not being intrusive. Not been here for several years, as previous experience was not what we expected. However so glad we tried them again and it won’t be the last time. Garlic bread was delicious - so good we forgot to take a photo. I had the risotto and can easily say it was the best I have tasted. My husband had the fish special was equally delicious. The suggested wine pairing was perfect. The puddings rounded off a great night. So give Positano a try and we’ll probably see you there as we are definitely coming back.

This was our first visit to the area so we asked a shop assistant if she could recommend a nice place for a birthday lunch. Without hesitation she recommended Positano. We were so glad she did. Everything was just brilliant from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious (we had the fried chicken in a white wine mushroom sauce and the salmon with spinach and crushed potatoes😋), the staff were very friendly and attentive throughout all in a lovely relaxing atmosphere too. Thank you for my birthday candle in my dessert it was a lovely thoughtful touch and most certainly the icing on the cake after a wonderful lunch! 😃🥰🎂

First time at Yori, but seasoned Korean eaters. We had the BBQ beef, soya chige, and bibimbap. The dishes are good and the menu is varied. Compared to what is available in places like New Malden with its many independent Korean restaurants, I would say that Yori is comparable (except the prices are dearer). The ambience is plain and perhaps understated, with a nicely touched feature wall upstairs. We came for dinner, and I would say that the dark ambience could be brighter, especially if one is trying to determine if the BBQ meats are sufficiently cooked! Overall, we liked the food, but it wasn't a "wow." If we are honest, I would say that we fancy the smaller independent restaurants rather than chain ones like Yori. We will certainly return to Yori, given that it's one of the few decent Korean places in town.

Staff are brilliant and super helpful! Dhaval and Wilson were amazing! Definitely recommend just for the service, but the food was incredible too! Definitely a great spot if you're looking for something interesting and filling! We had the spicy chilli chicken too but was eaten before taking any photos it was too good not to.

The best Korean restaurant in London full stop. Food was absolutely delicious and the waiters were all courteous and nice We only went to try it out while visiting our daughter at University but will now be a regular spot for us. What a find!

I visited YORI in Guildford for the first time. It’s a Korean restaurant chain, and we tried their set menu, which included Gabitang and Bibimbap. Both dishes were flavorful and satisfying. The portions were good, and the price—less than £15 per person—felt reasonable for the quality and quantity. I’d rate the taste a solid 4 out of 5. It's not extraordinary but decent enough to enjoy. If you’re in the area and craving Korean food, it’s worth checking out.

Lovely Caribbean feel, lots of space, nice atmosphere, kind and friendly staff. Great tasting food with amazing spices. Some nice veggie options too.

Good selection of West Indian and Jamaican food in a large beach hut vendor styled theme. For starters my partner had Sweetcorn Dumplings which were pleasant but a little bland for my taste, some Chickpea Doubles which weren't bad and I had some decent Fiery Wings, not that hot in my opinion but tasty and well cooked so meat fell off the bone, nice to see normal size wings rather than the artificially bred oversize wings some use that lack flavour. Mains my partner went for a Katsu type curry with Vegan Chicken with Rice and Peas which she enjoyed and I had the Curry Goat with Rice and Peas which was tasty but I found the gravy a little thin for my preference. Meat was off the bone which was good for convenience as I had a white shirt on but less authentic, portions were decent although personally would have liked a little more Rice and Peas to soak up the gravy. Two for One cocktails were on offer which we grabbed a couple each, in keeping with the cuisine these tend to be Rum or Tequila based so a nice strong flavour profile and whilst not the best cocktails I've ever tried for the money they were good and offered decent value for money. Would definitely look to return in future.

Food - amazing. We had the fish tacos, crispy squid and brown chicken curry, all so amazing. Drinks have been absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend to the Candy sour and lychee daiquiri. Amazing Sunday roast. Roast pork, roast beef, and half a roast chicken all served on a platter with amazing yorkshire puddings. Fresh vegetables stuffing balls and gravy. What more would one want on a Sunday! Top notch food and service! Considering we did not have a booking and they were exceptionally busy, the amazing staff still managed to accommodate us. Thank you so much.

Three of us had a late lunch in the garden. Beautiful pub with an excellent outside seating area. Very busy, popular place. I had trout with mashed potatoes and onions. Delicious! Im a pescatarian who does not like fish to look like fish. So what i liked was that it was a trout fillet, with no heads or tails visible. Service was a little slow, however, they were very busy. I would certainly go there again.

Fab experience from the moment we arrived. We had the steak sharer and it did not disappoint, it was absolutely delicious! Every single morsel was eaten and thoroughly enjoyed and steak was cooked perfectly. Staff were all happy and attentive which made the atmosphere cosy and warm and inviting. Just lush.

I normally review restaurants Gordos is more of a Mexican street food cafe than fine dining but it is good. I mean lip smacking good. Fantastic authentic Mexican food in a friendly noisy atmosphere with totally scrumptious food wine and cocktails. The staff are happy to explain the menu and offer suggestions just be a bit cautious of some of the on table sauces they certainly let you know they can kick

The food was delicious and filled with flavour, but portion sizes (tacos, for example) were quite small. I had the Black Bean Enchilada, which was a good portion. Staff were attentive and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our Spicy Margaritas. Would definitely return!

Popped in on New Years Eve as my son loves Mexican. This is genuinely the most delicious Mexican I have ever tasted, beautifully presented, really friendly helpful staff. The price for 4 of us, including 2 ravenous teenage boys was really reasonable. I am genuinely so happy we tried here, we will be back!

1st time here celebrating my daughter's birthday - it was good but not great. Food tasted great, but portions sometimes very small (as expected), and very expensive (as we thought it would be). Service was attentive, but they forgot the odd dish, drink order etc. We were told the 1/2 crispy duck would feed 2-4 people, but it only fed 2 (so some of us missed out). Overall it was great for a special occasion, the decor and atmosphere was great, but felt overall it could have been a bit better, considering the price. Wouldn't rush back.

Fantastic evening sat at the bar. The staff are all well presented and very personable adding to the experience. The decor is as expected from The Ivy brand, exceptional. But the food is the main event. A starter, a few small plates and a main to share was ideal. Check out the cocktails, the Paper Crane was a favourite with the bar tenders putting on a show

Beautiful little hidden gem in the centre of Guildford. Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff and amazing food. Tom was fab, very helpful, nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend. Will definitely be going back.

We were running late to our reservation but the team were welcoming and accommodating. Really good atmosphere and the main gentleman running the floor couldn’t have been more helpful. Our seafood paella was amazing and they even made an effort to bring it out asap as we had a theatre show to go to. We couldn’t recommend more highly!

Popped in here Saturday for some lunch. Excellent professional friendly service. The food was excellent Tapas plates. Meat / cheese selection very fresh & great taste. Seafood platter . Light tempura batter. White bait / calamari / Octopus/ Squid / Aubergine sticks. Fantastic foods here. In my line of work. I cover 30-50 Hotels/ Restaurants/ Pubs a week. The restaurant itself open plan & very light & airy. I would highly recommend Coming here.

The fish platter was so good- the fish was lightly seasoned - crispy outside and juicy and tender inside. The prawns were meaty and fresh. The sausages were nicely grilled and tasted right. The garlic prawn was surprisingly good. The zesty lemon was really a kick to the garlic and prawn. The desserts were nice and made the whole dinner experience unforgettable. We are very lucky to get a table for three on Friday night without prior reservation. We are very impressed by the foods we ordered, everything is so delicious! I particularly love the seafood and chicken paella we ordered, the meat is generous, good amount for three people to share, so tasty!Also, the service is fairly attentive and quick, every staff is wearing a smile on their face. I haven’t enjoyed dining in a restaurant so much as today. Highly recommended!

Never been let down with the food and service here. It's a fantastic Thai restaurant offering delicious flavors. We ordered the vegetarian starter mix and spicy duck salad. The salad was packed with coriander, which I loved, and the dressing with the little pops of chili slices was incredible! It was a truly outstanding salad. The other starters, spring rolls, crispy corn fritters, wontons, and crispy tofu, paired perfectly with their accompanying sauces. Our mains, Pudd Thai Kai and the specialty set (green curry, rice, beef, and oyster sauce), were also very tasty. I personally preferred the Pudd Thai Kai, but everything was excellent overall." Staff were friendly and quick to serve when needed. My partner also had the Pirates of the Caribbean cocktail, which is always a hit.

Excellent first meal at the Thai Terrace. Service was fantastic, all the staff were lovely and we can’t wait to come back and see them again soon. The food was high quality, came quickly and was authentic. Would be epic in the summer, heard the cocktails are good too.

Really reccomend TheThai Terrace... Food was scrumptious so well presented, great portions.. Staff is friendly but just need to give us some space to breath and enjoy as they were checking literally every 2 minutes, sometimes less is more. Other than that really amazing.. It has a beautiful terrace you can see the town and the castle.
