Staff are brilliant and super helpful! Dhaval and Wilson were amazing! Definitely recommend just for the service, but the food was incredible too! Definitely a great spot if you're looking for something interesting and filling! We had the spicy chilli chicken too but was eaten before taking any photos it was too good not to.

I visited YORI in Guildford for the first time. It’s a Korean restaurant chain, and we tried their set menu, which included Gabitang and Bibimbap. Both dishes were flavorful and satisfying. The portions were good, and the price—less than £15 per person—felt reasonable for the quality and quantity. I’d rate the taste a solid 4 out of 5. It's not extraordinary but decent enough to enjoy. If you’re in the area and craving Korean food, it’s worth checking out.

We dined at this establishment on a weekday evening and found it to be pleasantly uncrowded. The ambiance was consistent with other Korean restaurants in the area, offering a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Regarding the cuisine, we opted for the Korean barbecue beef set. While the cost of the meal was slightly higher than average, we found it to be well worth the investment. The serving size was more than adequate for two individuals. We intend to return in the future to sample additional menu items.

The best Korean restaurant in London full stop. Food was absolutely delicious and the waiters were all courteous and nice We only went to try it out while visiting our daughter at University but will now be a regular spot for us. What a find!

This Italian restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and inviting, making it perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. Fantastic meal at Positano last night. Superb attentive service whilst not being intrusive. Not been here for several years, as previous experience was not what we expected. However so glad we tried them again and it won’t be the last time. Garlic bread was delicious - so good we forgot to take a photo. I had the risotto and can easily say it was the best I have tasted. My husband had the fish special was equally delicious. The suggested wine pairing was perfect. The puddings rounded off a great night. So give Positano a try and we’ll probably see you there as we are definitely coming back.

Beautiful lunch with my neighbour at Positano. I’ve wanted to come here hit a long time but it was always fully booked. Today we had a great lunch, great service, and great atmosphere. Food was delicious and the best tiramisù I’ve had in a long time. Brilliant, I’ll take other friends here too.

This was our first visit to the area so we asked a shop assistant if she could recommend a nice place for a birthday lunch. Without hesitation she recommended Positano. We were so glad she did. Everything was just brilliant from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious (we had the fried chicken in a white wine mushroom sauce and the salmon with spinach and crushed potatoes😋), the staff were very friendly and attentive throughout all in a lovely relaxing atmosphere too. Thank you for my birthday candle in my dessert it was a lovely thoughtful touch and most certainly the icing on the cake after a wonderful lunch! 😃🥰🎂

Food - amazing. We had the fish tacos, crispy squid and brown chicken curry, all so amazing. Drinks have been absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend to the Candy sour and lychee daiquiri. Popped in on New Years Eve as my son loves Mexican. This is genuinely the most delicious Mexican I have ever tasted, beautifully presented, really friendly helpful staff. The price for 4 of us, including 2 ravenous teenage boys was really reasonable. I am genuinely so happy we tried here, we will be back!

I normally review restaurants Gordos is more of a Mexican street food cafe than fine dining but it is good. I mean lip smacking good. Fantastic authentic Mexican food in a friendly noisy atmosphere with totally scrumptious food wine and cocktails. The staff are happy to explain the menu and offer suggestions just be a bit cautious of some of the on table sauces they certainly let you know they can kick

We've dined in 5 times now, and it is consistently delicious. The staff are very friendly. The restaurant is always clean, and the open kitchen allows you to witness just how carefully everything is prepared. It was tough to find authentic Mexican food and freshly made margaritas until we found Gordos. Try the chicken al pastor as a part of the taco sharing board along with a classic margarita, you won't regret it!

The food was delicious and filled with flavour, but portion sizes (tacos, for example) were quite small. I had the Black Bean Enchilada, which was a good portion. Staff were attentive and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our Spicy Margaritas. Would definitely return!

I visited this pub/restaurant for a solo business meal. The staff were some of the friendliest, most welcoming restaurant staff I have ever encountered. The lady who I assumed was the manager treated me like a member of her family and could not do enough for me! Grace, who was waiting on my table was very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. They said I would be back and they were right - I’ll definitely be going back here. The atmosphere was so cosy and welcoming!

Three of us had a late lunch in the garden. Beautiful pub with an excellent outside seating area. Very busy, popular place. I had trout with mashed potatoes and onions. Delicious! Im a pescatarian who does not like fish to look like fish. So what i liked was that it was a trout fillet, with no heads or tails visible. Service was a little slow, however, they were very busy. I would certainly go there again.

The fish platter was so good- the fish was lightly seasoned - crispy outside and juicy and tender inside. The prawns were meaty and fresh. The sausages were nicely grilled and tasted right. The garlic prawn was surprisingly good. The zesty lemon was really a kick to the garlic and prawn. The desserts were nice and made the whole dinner experience unforgettable. Thanks for the nice and friendly staffs!

We were running late to our reservation but the team were welcoming and accommodating. Really good atmosphere and the main gentleman running the floor couldn’t have been more helpful. Our seafood paella was amazing and they even made an effort to bring it out asap as we had a theatre show to go to. We couldn’t recommend more highly!

We are very lucky to get a table for three on Friday night without prior reservation. We are very impressed by the foods we ordered, everything is so delicious! I particularly love the seafood and chicken paella we ordered, the meat is generous, good amount for three people to share, so tasty!Also, the service is fairly attentive and quick, every staff is wearing a smile on their face. I haven’t enjoyed dining in a restaurant so much as today. Highly recommended!

Popped in here Saturday for some lunch. Excellent professional friendly service. The food was excellent Tapas plates. Meat / cheese selection very fresh & great taste. Seafood platter . Light tempura batter. White bait / calamari / Octopus/ Squid / Aubergine sticks. Fantastic foods here. In my line of work. I cover 30-50 Hotels/ Restaurants/ Pubs a week. The restaurant itself open plan & very light & airy. I would highly recommend Coming here.

Gorgeous food, amazing staff and the place is lovely. Cosy and really made me feel like I was back home, the flavours of the food and the kindness of the staff made it a wonderful night. Visited this amazing restaurant at the beginning of this month with a friend. It’s not easy to find a good Italian restaurant when there are loads to choose from. We had their signature smoked duck and it was the best duck we have had in England so far. For mains we had the crab risotto and spaghetti alle vongole and they were impeccable ( Coming from Italy I think I can say that 😜). The place has a cozy romantic atmosphere and I would totally recommend if you’re going out on a first date. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and they even poured our drinks and tap water from time to time. Overall I enjoyed being there for the couple hours that we spent in the restaurant and I am definitely looking forward to come back to this place on our next trip to Guildford.

1st time here celebrating my daughter's birthday - it was good but not great. Food tasted great, but portions sometimes very small (as expected), and very expensive (as we thought it would be). Service was attentive, but they forgot the odd dish, drink order etc. We were told the 1/2 crispy duck would feed 2-4 people, but it only fed 2 (so some of us missed out). Overall it was great for a special occasion, the decor and atmosphere was great, but felt overall it could have been a bit better, considering the price. Wouldn't rush back.

This venue has been on my to visit list. Heard so many positive feedback reports. Well the atmosphere, very attentive staff but not over the top. Staff friendly helpful and very smart. Made the evening flow perfectly. The decor is different and again adds to the experience. Cocktails oh yes, I do love my espresso martini and it hit the button….shame it wasn’t a pint it was to yummie. Food, with some hep on portion sizes from the staff, several dishes selected, all of them very tasty, sufficient portion sizes to go with the number of dishes. Then a visit to to toilets - the men’s !!!!! Let’s say it is different in a good way I left with a smile on my face. Overall great location, food, staff and ambiance. Fantastic evening sat at the bar. The staff are all well presented and very personable adding to the experience. The decor is as expected from The Ivy brand, exceptional. But the food is the main event. A starter, a few small plates and a main to share was ideal. Check out the cocktails, the Paper Crane was a favourite with the bar tenders putting on a show

It’s a very happy and wonderful lunch time with my daughter.She liked the orange confit duck leg so much. For me the pork belly was very special and yummy.The atmosphere was so relaxing and the team was very polite and friendly with smiling face!Good service at all!We would highly recommend our friends and family to have an amazing gathering here.

Fab experience from the moment we arrived. We had the steak sharer and it did not disappoint, it was absolutely delicious! Every single morsel was eaten and thoroughly enjoyed and steak was cooked perfectly. Staff were all happy and attentive which made the atmosphere cosy and warm and inviting. Just lush.

I booked the big round table upstairs for me and my friends for my birthday! I had heard good things about this restaurant and everything was true! The atmosphere, the character of the building and all of the staff were super pleasant friendly and amenable! In particular Tom took a shining to our table And the owner even came up to say hello! The food was delicious and authentic the Italian, I should know! I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough we will be back again sometime over Christmas, go and treat yourself! 🫶🏼
