Food is outstanding and meal was very much enjoyed 😋 However, the quality really can’t justify the price. I am a strong believer in ‘You get what you pay for’ when it comes to eating out. Nevertheless, I have had better elsewhere and it cost somewhat less. Even with the set menu, the bill was quite a shock. Beers were around £7 a pint, but still somewhat less than wine and cocktails. All in all, a wonderful meal for the taste buds, but not for the bank balance! 🥩🤩👍 🧾 😳 😢

Great burgers (my photo doesn’t do it justice, it was seriously good. Better than Five Guys greasy slop). and nachos to start. Definitely coming back. Thanks for serving us Paulo.

Excellent restaurant with friendly service, a nice hidden gem for your steaks and seafood. Our son treated us to Golden Bull before going to university. We have never been (or heard) to this place before, but the service was top notch; friendly and attentive. We've ordered the king prawn garlic and helumi sticks for starters. The prawns were large and muscular, taste was spot on - reminds us been on holiday in Spain. Main courses were steak and seafood, again, everything were cooked to perfection. In fact, 1 of the best steak I've had this year, and will replace our regular (Miller and Carter's) next time we need some nice steaks. Overall, highly recommended restaurant and service was excellent. Well done, we'll definitely be back again.

Our first time trying this restaurant, we came here on a whim for our 1 year anniversary safe to say we are very pleased, the service was amazing and so was the food, I had the 16oz T-bone medium rare it was cooked to perfection, the greens were cooked perfectly, my girlfriend had the rump steak medium, it was cooked exactly to her her liking, the sweet potato fries she described as the best she's ever had. Robbie our server was friendly and cheerful and bubbly and commended my taste in steak, will definitely be returning

I booked lunch for my partners birthday and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff were wonderful and the food was excellent. Overall couldn’t recommend this pub more we will definitely be making this a new regular spot.

We loved this place. We got there a little later on an evening and had a pint. It was fun to sit and chat and the atmosphere was so cozy and lovely. The drinks are reasonable and the chips are super tasty. We also came earlier in the summer and sat in the garden. This is quickly becoming one of our favorite pubs.

My Wife organised a surprise 60th Birthday Party for myself. Honestly this place is Fantastic. Great Party venue, Excellent buffet food, Brilliant Staff, Thank you all for making it a Brilliant Party

Held a surprise party here. Couldn't have been better. From the time of first making my enquiry through to the day of the event the staff were brilliant. Very helpful, organised and efficient. Room was lovely, food was good, bar staff professional. Just want to say a great big thank you from us for helping make a very special occasion with special memories to treasure.

Stayed with our camper van for one night. Did call ahead to get permission Was there in time for Sunday lunch, which was delicious and generous portions. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We were made to feel very welcome. Would definitely visit again

We called ahead and got the thumbs up from the owner to park our motorhome for the night. It was their trivia night so the carpark was fairly full. Thankfully there’s plenty of space so we were able to tuck ourselves away in a nice quiet level corner. No camper facilities provided at this one, but the pub itself was charming. The staff were very inviting, the food was great, and the drinks were cold. We would highly recommend this pub as a camper or as a regular patron.

Came here for a birthday meal, despite living in Bagshot for 16 years I never got round to it. I feel terrible for all the time I've been missing out on this awesome food.

We had a really excellent meal here just after New Years and despite the restaurant being quiet the food was delicious and the service was excellent. We would definitely come back.

It’s our first time to this restaurant. The food is nice and the staff are really friendly. The only problem is that the food is more expensive than expected, and more expensive than other Italian restaurants I’m been to in this area within 10 miles. Picture 4 pasta with tomato sauce is 14 pounds, which is we think is pricy. 12.5% of the service fee is added onto the bill in the end. I only see such service fee in a few restaurants in London. Other than this, everything is good. Overall, we had a very nice dining experience.

Food we tried was really great especially the tiger prawn and the sauce. Also service was good but only issue is the prices a bit high.

No-one came to show us to the table for what seemed like ages, but was probably 2 or 3 minutes. Restaurant was clean and looked well maintained. Great choices on the menu, service was excellent and attentive without being intrusive. Toilets were clean and functional apart from the cubicle I chose where the barely worked and hand drier didn't work. Overall great dining experience and great food.

What a pleasant experience. The food was excellent. So many side dishes, so many sauces and so many things to try! The steak was absolutely delicious. I would place it somewhere in my top 3 steaks I’ve tried for under £60 a person. We had the cote de boeuf - which is essentially a bone in ribeye. Cooked to perfection.

Very happy with overall service. Riannon was pleasant, helpful and most importantly food ordered was delivered quickly and accurately. Minor disappointment with all 3 steaks ordered, which were underdone but everything else was perfect. We were sat next to an extractor fan which was quite noisy (!) hence one star knocked off for atmosphere.

Visited over the weekend with family. Can't fault it, really. Portion sizes for the starters and mains are great, and there's a great variety of different drinks & dishes. We all ordered steak dishes for mains, and the steaks were cooked perfectly and more importantly, super tasty. One criticism would be that the calamari could use a bit more seasoning as it was a bit bland without the help of the aioli dipping sauce. There was plenty of parking available on a Saturday evening and there was no need to wait around for our booking once we arrived. Staff were all friendly, and the service was good.

Excellent food, excellent service. We had crab followed by lobster and it was cooked to perfection. Friendly and accomodating service and a good wine list. What more do you need?

A beautiful hotel set in beautiful, manicured grounds, just perfect to wander around in all seasons. Despite being between Bagshot and Camberley it feels like you're completely in the middle of nowhere. Lavish, sumptuous, luxurious... all perfect words to describe the hotel & spa, including the bar & restaurant. The staff in the bar were really friendly and attentive, and the pianist was appreciated, setting the mood.

We had a dinner bed and breakfast spa break at Pennyhill Park. After reading the reviews about Hillfield we had low expectations but we were pleasantly surprised. I had the chicken (photo) and it was delicious and the presentation was impressive. My husband had the steak and enjoyed that. We ordered the Eaton mess and millionaires pudding and the Eaton mess was not great and when our plates were collected the guy serving us asked how the deserts were and we said the millionaires was amazing but we didn’t like the Eaton mess (really strange texture, fluffy sand?!) and when we got the bill the Eaton mess had been taken off which was a nice gesture.

Food is lovely. Beautiful setting. The desserts are the star. Not too sweet and amazing. We had crumble, sticky toffee pudding and Yule logs. All incredible. Perfect lunch!

A lovely dinner at the glasshouse tonight. The food was gorgeous, and the staff friendly especially Jana who served us, she was a delight, friendly, funny and seemed to genuinely care about our dining experience being a good one. You do pay for the quality of the food but when you consider what you get its actually pretty reasonable. Will defo be going back.

A great spot for breakfast, brunch/lunch or dinner. The waitress today was very friendly and warm! The food was delicious and presented beautifully. I plan to make it a regular spot to visit with friends and family. I’ve been before and I love all the natural light and how it’s got good parking! Also you can potter around shops after a meal. I also find it very kid friendly

Gluten free and dairy free options on the menu. Often come here for weekday lunches and the food and drinks are always very good. Service is excellent too. Enjoyed the vegetarian “bhaji burger” on a gluten free bun.

As a Greek who’s just returned back from holidays in Greece I had to go in and give it a try. The restaurant is spotless so clean and well kept! Was nice to be treated by a Greek friendly face Nikos whilst he prepared my meal! I got home and was surprised at the great portion sizes and the taste of the food was amazing and as expected being sourced all from Greece! Euxaristo Niko you are top I will be back! 🇬🇷

Fell in love with Greek food thanks to Zeus! The freshest ingredients and the most generous portions. My personal favorite is the lamb souvlaki (the lamb is also halal). Of course, with a side of halloumi and the chef’s homemade hot sauce, I can confidently say it's the best hot sauce I’ve ever had, such a delicacy! The cherry on top is the warmth of the staff and their brilliant customer service. I have to mention each one: Eda, Nickos, Nick, and Michael. Bless each of you for the amazing food and service 🤍

Fancied Brekki out as had a big night. Went for the beans on toast. As you can see from pic not what you expect. However was delicious. Staff very friendly, was greeted as soon as I walked in! Helped me out with lots of cold water 🥴 Wife had a decaf tea which she says was good. She had eggs on toast and I agree the eggs were just warm. Parking is on the street if you’re lucky or in the pay parking opposite behind the Co-op. Would I go again. Probably not £30 seems a tad expensive for 2 drinks and food.

I finally got a chance to check out Roost today after passing by several times. I am so grateful to find a dedicated gluten free cafe as there are few options available locally. Some places may offer gluten free ingredients but there is always a fear of a mistake or cross-contamination. The peace of mind when ordering here is the most positive dining out experience I can recall since the problem was diagnosed a couple of years ago. The breakfast menu is available all day and there are a number of sharing platters for brunch and lots of other sweet and savoury dishes to try. The drinks menu was diverse and I was tempted by the Mint Matcha latte (very good!) The prices were well within the standard range and compete favourably with the usual coffee shop chains. It was refreshing to know that Roost is an independent company and they clearly care about their ingredients and their staff. The shop was very clean, cosy and tastefully designed. I liked the nice little touches such as the box of ‘wobble wedges’ to correct any wonky tables, and a selection of books and magazines to look at. It was busy yet still felt restful. I found a table with a window seat and the service was great. Easily the best breakfast I’ve had in ages. I hope to get back here again soon to try out the cakes or a waffle, or maybe both :-)

Such a lovely coffee place, amazing staff. Coffee and food to die for, had an americano and a Feta and Bacon wrap, it was delicious. My partner had green tea and Berry Waffles, very tasty.

Was a very cosy, warm and inviting place to eat and have a drink. The service was just 10 out of 10 in my opinion, we didn’t have to move a muscle. I had the fish and chips which was really good, was the kind of batter that doesn’t leave you a little sick but very kindly full

Went to this pub , my daughter lives close by. Great service some of the food was great the fish and chips not so , I would presume frozen but nut great quality and over fried. But on balance it was a lovely pub , good selection of wines for a pub and would defo visit again..

Lovely village pub on the green, we come here a lot. The food is good for a pub but I don't love the new menu as much as the old one and staff have gone through quite a lot of change and the new manager isn't as welcoming or friendly as the old one, Cozy fire and lovely cake and coffee shop in a yurt in the garden. No real garden to speak of it's a courtyard with a shelter and 10 or so tables.

First visit to this pub today with my friend who was visiting me. Service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was nice. The garden and inside dining space was beautiful. Food was lovely and tasty. I also liked the fact they mentioned service charge when presenting the bill and the lady said it was optional though she fully deserved it. Will be back and will recommend to friends.
