“We've been here a few times and are very pleased with the taste of the food, its freshness, and authentic Asian flavors. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. We visited today, Mother's Day, and the staff ensured all the mothers had an amazing meal by offering free drinks and desserts. I will definitely make a point to come here for the next Mother’s Day. Additionally, on Sundays, the kids' menu is free, and my little one enjoyed both the food and the painting activities.”

“I had a 7" pepperoni pizza, just great. Crispy bottom, chewy dough, right balance of cheese and sauce. Just perfect! Flat white coffee was the best I've had in a long time, milk unburnt, coffee strong and all smooth! Great lunch all over!”

“We normally book Christmas dinner at another local pub but they were fully booked in October. So booked here so we had somewhere. If I’m honest wasn’t sure what it would be like but it was perfect. The staff were so friendly and relaxed. The area we were in was nicely decorated and the other families were lovely and friendly ( unlike my usual place!). The food was great, portions generous and we were stuffed! All in all it was delicious, welcoming and cheaper than the other place. Definitely recommended for friendly family experience. Well done team!”

“After a long uphill walk any Pub in the Storm !! But this one was a Cracker. Lovely welcome and soon pints of Green King IPA (£4.50) and Speckled Hen were drawn from the well kept cellar Lots folk around we're taking luncheon from a different and interesting menu. Next time the range of Omelettes on the lunch menu are reasonably priced (£8.00) and well worth it from what we saw. Others enjoyed the burger and some the White Bait. Only slight comment perhaps would be there was no Guest Ale and as both local Breweries (Godstone & Larkins) offer really fine ales it would be nice to see this pub support at least one of them. But that's a beer monster opinion. It does not detract from a fine pub with loadsa interesting stuff to enjoy. We will return.”

“Such a lovely venue, decor is authentic and it's a huge place with many different spaces including a secret garden. Would be fab for hosting an event. The menu had not been updated on the website so three of our party were disappointed that there was no banoffee pie. But not the end of the world. I ordered the bavette steak, medium rare. It came rare but I didn't want to interrupt the meal by sending it back. It was disappointing as not to my preference and the brandy peppercorn sauce seemed to be split, it wasn't thick instead watery. Flavour was fine. Service was also fine, little things like having to ask for steak knives detracted from the basic service that you would expect in an establishment like this. Mu sister had the hake which was quite a small portion. My dad had the fish pie which he enjoyed. Did like that they're dog friendly and recieved a warm welcome when we arrived. Staff were nice.”

“We booked home cottage for our office Christmas lunch and it was fantastic. The food was great, the staff are lovely and super helpful. We sat 25 and parties of a comparable size get their own room in the pub which was amazing. Additionally, on the morning off I wanted to last minute implement a seating plan so I called the staff and not only were they lovely but they got everything printed and set up on time with essentially no notice. Would highly recommend for Christmas parties and is all round a good pub!”

“This pub is welcoming and has a nice mix of traditional and gastro in the menu. It is family friendly and the restaurant part was busy for a lunch service. The kastu burger could have been more generous than a wafer thin cut of chicken. Other than that the food was really good. Slightly pricey for the kastu burger however, the seating and service makes it worthwhile. Worth a visit for families.”
