Our first, but not last visit to Vicky’s. If you haven’t tried it yet then you must. Don’t expect your food served quickly, dishes are prepared individually and cooking takes time, sit back, enjoy the company, drink in the decor and savour the ambience. Everything about our lunchtime visit was delightful.

We had a gorgeous meal here mid week. Food is delicious especially if you've been out exploring the South Downs and want something yummy and full of flavour. Excellent, friendly service.

Brilliant local spot! Went for lunch with the family on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised to see that they do their full dinner menu at lunchtime! Personally had the vegetable noodle soup to start and the Chicken Shashlik with the avocado salad, both of which had very generous portion sizes and very delicious! Extremely friendly and helpful staff who were very accommodating to one of our party who is in an electric wheelchair. 5/5 stars, definitely will be going again!

All the dishes were delicious. From starters to dessert. The cabbage rolls, the goulash pancake, the chicken shashlik and the chimney cake being the main highlights. All of it felt and tasted home cooked with good quality ingredients. We cannot wait to return and try more of their menu. The restaurant environment is very cozy and all the staff are kind and efficient. Well worth the drive or train ride to the beautiful village of Haslemere. You can't find this cuisine easily and it is a welcome change from the usual dinner options in the region.

My partner and me experienced Moma for the first time and definitely will not be the last. Everything from the food to the service and the restaurant itself was superb. The food was full of flavour. We will be returning soon . Lovely evening.

Fantastic food in a lovely setting. 4 of us booked lunch and the starter was amazing. However the waiter was too surly and unhelpful with our friend.

Lovely birthday surprise meal. The food and wine were just amazing. Great menu... Difficulty make a decision because it all sounded lovely. Mixed up with sushi as starters and a delicious hake main. Service is really good and all staff are very friendly.

I was lucky enough to be treated to a meal at this amazing restaurant for my birthday and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The service was impeccable, the food was perfection and the experience as a whole was such a positive and wonderful one. A wonderful discovery! We went there for a family celebration. We couldn't have chosen better! We shared several dishes to try different options. Each dish was a pleasure for the senses! The scent, the flavour, the fresh products, the lovely presentation... The staff were lovely and very attentive. We were all delighted. We particularly appreciate the special attention to my partner 's parents celebrating their wedding anniversary and birthday. Thank you. We'll come back again!

We had a truly exceptional meal at this classy, modern and delicious restaurant. The service was impeccable, the beer was cold, the wine was excellent but most of all, the food was some of the best Indian cuisine we’ve ever eaten. This restaurant is what Haslemere has been crying out for! No detail has gone unmissed here. Excellent.

Dilli is a modern Indian restaurant, which makes a refreshing change for this part of the world. You’re greeted by slick decor and smiley waiting staff, it was also pleasingly busy on a Friday night. The presentation of the food follows suit so the overall impression is of effort being put in, which you can’t fault. The food quality was high, obviously tailored for the audience here but again, an effort has been made. I like to judge an Indian restaurant on the quality of their lamb chops and I would have liked more meat on ours (which at £22 a portion was unfortunate) - I’ll put it down to bad luck. Almost perfect and we’ll be back. An asset to Haslemere.

We went for Sunday lunch the meat and accompanying vegetables were cooked to perfection and the gravy was delicious . The service was great and very friendly and it was not too busy . We sat in the garden .

The Prince of Wales is an excellent pub which is in the Haslemere area. Plenty of parking and adjacent to many walking trails, it is set in a rural location that has lots of charm. There is a great selection of beers and there are frequent "guest ales". The food is the standout. You can tell it is all freshly prepared and there are lots of choices. They also can do gluten free which is helpful as my son is gluten sensitive. The staff is excellent and there is seating both indoors and outdoors. Finally, there is a playground and it is dog friendly. The landlords/managers are awesome and welcoming to groups ranging from sports teams, cyclists and walkers. It's a great traditional pub that offers good food, beer, has a great staff in a very nice location - what else could you ask for?

Very, very good indeed. Didn't expect this standard. Service is timed well and polite, food is pretty much faultless. We are about to have desserts, will update accordingly. Highly recommended. Edit: Outstanding desserts.

We had a lovely time with 2 friends. The Sunday roast was excellent and the service could not be faulted. One of the highlights of going there was meeting Bruno.... the pub dog. What a beautiful, good natured labrador he is. So regal sitting in his arm chair. Thank you for a great Sunday afternoon.

Really nice local feel. LOADS of food, drink and cake options. The inside has a lovely vibe, really quirky and lots to admire. Lovely music and layout. The Coffee, drinks and food came very quickly and were amazing. The raspberry ice tea was superb. I’d go to this place over a big chain any day!

Stopped here on a club ride this morning as was a bit nippy and we wanted a warm drink and a refuel for a lumpy ride we were doing. The shop has a very bohemian feel to it with really friendly and helpful staff on hand to take our order. The cakes and pastries on offer look amazing and the food on the menu sounds delicious which I would like to go back and try at some point. The portion sizes are very generous, and was great for fueling us up for the ride ahead. Coffee options were very good and tasted amazing..........we will definitely be returning if we're passing through again 👍

Much prefer a smaller coffee shop to the high street chains. Very quirky with a Moroccan theme in the decor. Lots of staff buzzing about for not many customers. It had a family fun feel to it. I’m not a coffee person but do appreciate a good hot chocolate. I ordered the fully loaded hot chocolate and it was one of the best.

Fantastic authentic Italian food , great cafe and pizzeria, so much better than the chains. Very reasonable priced Friendly and welcoming staff, well worth a visit .

Amazing atmosphere and authentic Italian food. The chef was really accommodating as we turn up without reservation and he personally came and check if we enjoyed the food. Would definite come back again (with reservation).

We felt very lucky to get a last minute book at Carlo's on a Friday evening. The food was delicious and the service was very welcoming throughout. We both especially enjoyed the desserts. It's not a big Restaurant by any means compared to the two well known Italian chains nearby, but it definitely holds its own. Will definitely try to return again one day, even if it is just to pop in to the store for Italian essentials.

Absolutely amazing local pub. With a gourmet kitchen. If is a nice weather you can enjoy your food and drink in the lovely and huge garden they have. If you want to eat inside in the old part of the pub (highly recommended) you have to book a table in advance, they only have 4 tables there. After you order they bring a smal appetizer while you waiting for the food. We got a coliflor soup shot, and some homemade Mediterranean buns with a homemade creamy marmite butter. We got the special dish of the day, the tomahawk steak for 2. Was absolutely amazing. A must to try are the Buddington Farm triple cooked chunky chips. A good thing to say about this place, they have draught Guinness 0% alcohol.

Quaint pub in the South downs, located in such a beautiful setting. They have a roaring fire place outside to sit and the food was delicious 😋

Just going by the exterior look of a pub then this one is picture perfect. The grounds are a delight to walk around, with so many things to take in as you meander through winding pathways, passing fish and a very enticing outside fireplace. And with the sound of a stream trickling it's way through the grounds just adds a touch of zen like tranquility to this charmingly old traditional English pub. The staff are super welcoming and the bar is quirky and small which only encourages you to speak with fellow drinkers that have probably been coming here for many a year....and it's easy to understand why. You can also eat here, and by all accounts the Sunday roast is a must. But you do need to book a few weeks in advance, which says it all. There is a great choice of real ales, craft beers, spirits and cocktails on offer, even a festive cup of mulled wine or cider if you really want to get into the Christmas spirit.

Classic country pub with good restaurant standard food. Great atmosphere, but a bit hard to find... Not cheap - £40 pp for 2 courses and one drink each, including coffees and 10% service, which was NOT included by default. Very popular on a Friday lunchtime. Booking probably essential. But recommended!

Great impromptu family lunch at ask today, we arrived as a group of 8 without prior booking and were greeted happily and seated then 4 more arrived a bit later on and the staff again helped without being fazed and us set up a table for them and made them welcome! One of our party is celiac and the staff were knowledgeable and checked she had all the information she needed before ordering. Everyone enjoyed their food and we will return! Thank you 🙏

Harry is the best manager of a restaurant I’ve ever known. We’re a local business and he ALWAYS makes us feel welcome, is always upbeat and friendly. He’s never turned us away, even if we arrive late. Great food, good value for money and fantastic staff.

Signature burger is one of the best pub burgers that have had anywhere. Would also employ Dom the barman for any business, customer service if incredible

The white horse has had a great facelift in recent times making it a really nice place to go for a good meal and a beer. The food is at the good end of pub fayre and the hand pull beer has been excellent of late both in choice and the way it is served. The staff are great and the landlord particularly attentive. It can get busy at times and the focus is now on food; there has been a slight loss of its pub character as a result but the decor is very pleasant and the ambiance is great. Beer is monstrously expensive however and wine more so - expect at least £5.50-£7.00 a pint.

We had not eaten in the pub for a long time, and were enticed in with the 50% January main meal discount. It turned out to be a great evening and we ended up eating a three course meal, and coffee. Loved the jazzy background music, the food was absolutely excellent, and we had a great table and we ended up having a wonderful date night. What made it was the two male staff members waiting on out table, so were genuinely welcoming, and helpful. Highly recommend the Sea Bass!

Great place with lovely food and good vibes

Sudeep and Ellie couldn’t have been more attentive. They didn’t rush us, they found out information from the kitchen when asked. The music was fine and not too loud, the chicken pie was ace. Tender, tarragon flavour came through delightfully. The fish was great. The portions are ideal. The gents loo could do with some love but that’s my only grouse! Would definitely come back.

Lovely dog friendly pub next to the Devil’s Punch Bowl. The pub is inside the Punch Bowl hotel. Nice and cosy inside with some fun dog themed prints. Food and staff were nice. Definitely would recommend coming here before or after your walk at the Devil’s Punch Bowl.

After a beautiful walk at the Devils lunch bowl we were lucky enough to get a table for 8 of us for lunch. We didn’t have a booking but the staff were so accommodating. The food was delicious and very reasonable. Menu has plenty of lovely options. Lana and Sudeep looked after us really well and we were so happy with the service- thanks guys! Will definitely be back!

Lovely friendly staff, very attentive and great about our two big dogs. Lovely food! Plenty of space inside and out. Really recommend 👌🏻 especially after a lovely big walk around the devils punch bowl.
