We had a wonderful evening. The food was fantastic. Everything was cooked perfectly and all the meals were very tasty. The cocktails were really nice and the wine delicious, even more so when sipped in a nice atmosphere. Dimitris and the rest of the staff were all very welcoming, amicable and relaxed. Dimitris advised us on the wine and we weren’t disappointed. We will definitely be back and this might become our go to restaurant in the area from now on.

Excellent food, we had the croquetas and asparagus vol-au-vents to start, a roast cod special each and finished eith the hot apple tarte tatin with ice cream. Each course was beautifully presented and Dimitris and Panos couldn't have been more attentive. Irish coffee could have been a smidge warmer, but it was very tasty! The atmosphere was also beautiful and the Christmas tree was extra special.

Great Restaurant with an eclectic menu. Service is attentive and friendly and we were all offered a friendly welcome on arrival and departure. Food is really delicious, with plenty of flavour and very reasonably priced. Fantastic local restaurant. It was completely full on a Saturday night and booking is very much recommended.

We had heard great things and were not disappointed. Everything we had was well presented, and really delicious. The chicken, aubergine & fish were the stand out dishes. Service was also great, it’s a family run business which we were even happier to support.

Second time trying Georgian cuisine and did not disappoint the least bit! Excellent variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes and great service! Their khachapuris are so flavorful and a must try. The staff help with the wine selection based on your order. The mushroom khinkali was very tasty (except didn't know that the top wasn't supposed to be eaten!) Would definitely recommend.

It was the best Georgian food experiences in my life! My husband and I tries half of the menu and from this moment we want to come back every day! Khachapuri is better than ent Italian pizza! Chicken, fish, eggplant… everything is so tasty! I cannot believe Georgian cuisine is not very popular in London… it’s beautiful! Napoleon cake soft and crunchy the same time ❤️ They stole my heart!

Tried Omm in Barnes and was pleasantly surprised! The hummus was smooth and flavorful, the tabbouleh fresh and well-balanced, and the kebbeh perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside. Service was incredibly friendly, making the experience even better. The place itself is cute, very clean, and a great addition to the southwest London food scene. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for quality Lebanese food! Five stars 👍

Home SW13

94 Church Rd, London SW13 0DQ, UK | Restaurant
P: 020 8748 0393

Rating: 4.8 (112) Price Level:

nice addition to Barnes High Street with plenty of seating. We booked a table for 6:30 on a Thursday, and it was quite empty at first but filled up later. The dishes are comforting pub-style food, with the cauliflower cheese croquettes being a standout. I wouldn’t recommend the focaccia, as it was a bit too crusty and came without anything to dip it in. When we asked for balsamic and oil, we were given malt vinegar instead. The highlight of the menu is definitely the margaritas—the charcoal and breakfast versions are must-tries and highly recommended. All the dishes were good, nothing extraordinary, but solid quality and worth a visit. The service was friendly, with mostly very young staff who seemed unsure at times about when to check in and when to give us space, resulting in a bit of hovering. Despite that, it was an overall lovely experience, and the croquettes alone make it worth visiting

Beautiful food and service, Super well presented restaurant. The cauliflower croquettes is the perfect way to start with, I also had the beetroot salad with the crunchy granola and hemp seeds. Aubergine starter will be an explosion of flavours with little spicy harissa touch. If you like mushrooms you must try the pithivier was super tasty!! But the winner is the Barnes burned cheesecake, to die for!! Some fab wines on tab, (surprisingly) pinot gris deserve a taste very interesting with the skin touch. Really good food, congratulations to the chefs. Ambience was way too quiet and not really welcoming by other guests.

Enjoyed a wonderful evening at Home SW13. The service was excellent, Alan and Camilla are exceptional hosts. The starts were delicious - the cheese soufflé was creative and worked a treat, as did the Lobster Biscque. The suet pudding was hearty and filling and made to perfection. All in all a memorable evening. Definitely going back soon.

Awesome Thai #Barnes

Forever one of my Top Thai restaurants. Great food, plenty of variety. Portion is filling, and great value. I think the staff could be a bit more welcoming. The woman who was serving us looked as if she did not want to be at work which made us feel a bit uneasy but the food adds to the experience. Amazing dishes. Will always return!

Went here after watching Dune Part 2 in the incredible Olympic Studios across the road. The staff were incredible and welcoming and the general hubbub of the restaurant made the experience feel warm. All the food was beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned and, most importantly, delicious! The service was quick and there were ample options for people who had dietary needs and there were plenty of equally delicious vegetarian options available. I am definitely going to come here again!

Hands down one of the best and most genuine Thai restaurants in London. I have never had a bad meal here since they’ve opened a year ago. Sam's Riverside

1 Crisp Rd, London W6 9DN, UK | Restaurant
P: 020 8237 1020

Rating: 4.7 (1079) Price Level:

I originally already given up on London restaurant, as I have bad experience on high prices with ridiculously bad service… But today it is my birthday so I decided to go and celebrate with myself and go to Sam’s, oh… but did it surprise me, with both service and food aline together, with really good staff and welcoming attitude that explain the menu and the questions I have on food, also with a birthday card… etc with all the little things adding up, makes it 101%. It gives you a warm feeling and I would definitely come back next time with some friends and family. With the meal, I have ordered Blue cheese Souffle with parmesan cheese churros, black chocolate Fondant and some red wine. If you haven’t been, I do highly recommend it. It definitely highlight my night especially it is my first years spending my birthday in London and at Sam’s, which I believe I have made the right choice. AD

We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Sam’s and we made the perfect decision. We saw it before when we were around this side of the Thames. The food was amazing and we felt like we were ready to explode at the end. The drinks were good and they have a really wide array of wine selection and they helped us in matching the perfect bottle for our meal. To top the experience, their level of service and attention to their clients make them stand out from other restaurants. We’ll definitely come back to try their other selection.

What a lovely restaurant by the riverside. Greeting by the manager All staff were professional, cheerful and on the ball. We were not rushed at all. We ordered a variety of starters and they all tasted great. The sourdough and Parm churros can be skipped. Mains were a bit disappointing. Haddock souffle was too heavy and there was nothing special about the steak. All the portions were a bit on the smaller side. The staff and service was amazing. The restaurant itself was a bit dim and loud.

Flour + Water

162-164 Lower Richmond Rd., London SW15 1LY, UK | Restaurant
P: 020 3909 3753

Rating: 4.6 (98) Price Level:

Flour and Water in Putney is a true hidden gem. The restaurant’s interior is beautifully designed with a warm, inviting vibe that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better - they went out of their way to recommend dishes, and we’re so glad we followed their advice! We started with the whipped ricotta and anchovy handmade grissini, which were an absolute treat—creamy and savoury with just the right amount of briny punch. The courgette fritti were crisp and light, with a subtle sweetness that balanced perfectly with the savory crunch. The deep fried calamari with sour cream ranch was tender and golden, and the burrata with roasted red pepper was a rich, creamy delight that melted in your mouth. When it came to the mains, the ’nduja pizza with hot honey was a standout, a perfect balance of spicy, smoky, and sweet that really set it apart. The spaghetti in cartoccio, their seafood pasta, was packed with fresh seafood; every bite was a burst of ocean flavors, and the generous portions of clams, prawns, and mussels really made it special. The tortelloni cacio e pepe was a comforting, classic dish- peppery, cheesy, and just what you’d expect from a well executed Italian staple. We couldn’t leave without trying their desserts, and they did not disappoint. The homemade tiramisu was wonderfully creamy with layers that melted in your mouth, and the Basque cheesecake with raspberry compote was rich yet airy, with the tangy compote adding a refreshing contrast. We also had the raspberry sorbet, which was a perfect palate cleanser - light, refreshing, and bursting with fresh berry flavour. Overall, Flour and Water is a must visit in Putney. It’s not just about the food (which is delicious), but also the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes it such a fantastic spot. We’ll definitely be back soon!

A wonderful restaurant. The dishes rotate, so check for the latest. We had the fennel salad, it was a small portion, but yummy. The rocket salad was good. The prawns pasta was great, you have to try it. The aubergine pasta was OK, one of the two pieces of the eggplant was thin hence became hard and too crispy. The surprise was that the pasta was bland, I moved the olives and some juice from the fennel salad on top of the pasta and it got the flavors up. Service is very good, we will come again.

Having been denied a number of last minute reservations as they have always been fully booked, we finally decided to book in advance and we didn’t regret it at all. We were afraid it could be slightly pretentious, but it was far from it. It was homely, with lovely service, with delicious and generous portions of beautiful Italian staples and the quality of it really reflected good value. We booked table again while paying the bill. Coach & Horses

27 Barnes High St, London SW13 9LW, UK | Pub
P: 020 8876 2695

Rating: 4.5 (669) Price Level:

Clearly a place for the locals, with loads of them in the pub having their usual pints. Crispy whitebait needed some additional seasoning, but a solid starter. Both of us ordered burgers. The burger could do with a little fresh tomatoes, lettuce, etc, aside from the gherkin which was a nice touch. Bacon needed more browning. Chips were nicely salted and crispy. Overall great service from the staff, and space for improvement with the food, which was a fairly limited mains menu (possibly because it was a quiet Sunday evening). Would have been nice to have a fish main, fish and chips? Two beers and one juice ordered for the total bill (with food) of just under £60.

A good Youngs pub. Always better when they have Youngs Special on (see edit below). Can't speak about the food because I use it as a pub, not a restaurant. Nice to sit outside in one of the spacious booths in the old stables where the dray horses used to be quartered. Inside space is very small and intimate. Staff constantly changing, but usually young and friendly. Ib sponse to owner: you are right, Special has been available consistently lately. Was a problem a year or so ago when it seemed to be off a lot. Could also have been my bad luck! I'll give you your full quota of stars for this and the fact that Young's pubs still manage to retain some atmosphere and get loyalty in return from locals, something other brewery owned pubs could learn from.

Pub with a traditional atmosphere. Booked lunch there in early November and didn't realise there was a rugby game taking place at the local club (we weren't going to the game), however the local crowd was friendly and gave the place a nice buzz. Staff were attentive and although there were quite a few dishes which were not available on the menu (which is main reason for not giving 5 stars) the food was tasty and overall we enjoyed our time.
