I have had excellent experience with GavGas. They assess the urgency adequately, provide temporary advice until they can come, and come to do the job with a great understanding of the issue beforehand. GavGas has allowed me especially to avoid a massive bill by sending an Expert Collaborator to fix an issue appropriately.

Gavin has been an exceptional plumber for us. Since installing our system when our house was renovated seven years ago, he has always done his best to help us on the odd occassion there has been an issue. I have often been surprised at his own personal effort and care, either through texting calling and chatting through potential problems and solutions or turning up very quickly to sort things out.

Great service. They were initial subcontracted as part of a building project to move a boiler, but I actually got them to re do the whole heating and hot water system! And then got them back this week to put in a new shower unit above the bath. So would 100% recommend to others. Straight talking, hard working, high quality professionals - so probably not the cheapest you can find but definitely competitive pricing.

Really pleased with the recent service from Jac and Nick. Our boiler died just before the cold snap and we were left with no central heating and no hot water. They came out and quickly diagnosed that the boiler was ready for the scrap heap and walked us through our options and the costs. We made up our minds and within a short space of time the team arrived to migrate us on to a combi and remove the old boiler, immersion and loft water tank. All done in a couple of days and with very minimal disruption even though the house’s old pipes and weak gas pressure tried to derail them. The lads were very calm and expertly resolved any potential issue and have left us with a toasty home and restored hot showers. Would highly recommend them and will be using them for other plans we have.

Jac is a highly professional, competent and reliable plumber. In the past he had installed a gas boiler and hot water cylinder for me. I called Britannia to look into a leak on a shared gutter that had been ongoing for several years and not properly addressed by other roofing contractors. As soon as the team arrived they took time to examine the roof, taking pictures and providing a thorough assessment of the issue. The team highlighted that the enclosed and tight nature of the roof and gutter meant that water was not being dispersed resulting in overflow into both properties. Paul and the team set to work in stripping the affected area rebuilding the enclosed valley and lining both roofs so that rain water could only escape through the gutter. Throughout the works the team took photos, videos and water tested all all stages. Since the work was completed we have had several heavy downpours and the roof is bone dry with no more leaks. If you have any roofing needs then I could not recommend Britannia more highly in every aspect of work from the identification of the issue, communication, testing and quality of workmanship and materials.

Paul arrived on time and was so informative as to the issues with my roof, after he fully assessed the problem. He was on my roof for over 20 minutes making sure all the repairs needed were detailed to me. I recently used Near me plumbers to remove and replace a radiator and valves. The team truly bent over backwards to accommodate me at short notice and worked around my schedule to get the job done in time. Their pricing was more than fair, the workmanship was flawless and they did an impeccable job - to say I’m delighted with the end result would be an understatement! I’ve been have issues with bad smells and flys at the back of my property for years. We’ve used a handful of other companies throughout the years and no one could give us an explanation. Called near me plumbers, Tony carried out a cctv survey and found a cracked clay pipe underground. He had to dig to expose the old clay pipe and replaced with new, couldn’t be happier with this company would definitely be using again!

Charlie was recommended to me by another company as they were unable to help with a water tank problem. He arrived promptly and at the agreed time which is great and worked with me and my working hours. He was quick to identify the problem and within 48hours (over the weekend) he was able to get the part needed and fix my water tank. I had a going leak with my walk in shower for ages. A few different plumbing firms would re silicone and never do a permanent fix. Called the near me team and one of the managers came out for free. He carried out full inspection and recommend to remove the walk in shower and replace with a shower tray. The price was reasonable and the workmanship was amazing. I would definitely be using them moving forward

Kel is an amazing plumber.. I had concerns about the length of the job as other plumbers had indicated it would take 3 hours at least (to fix a leaking sink and cut a radiator pipe which first needed to have the system fully drained)... I was also concerned that the creamy carpets would be left dirty after the work. Kel wrapped up the work in just over 2 hours and left things spotless.. I can tell that he takes great pride in delivering top notch service and doesn't just treat it like a job. I also noticed him cleaning his tools after completing the job (which in my opinion shows that he is meticulous). I was keen to learn more about plumbing and he took the effort to walk me through the steps that he was taking to remedy each task. Ultimately, if you are looking for an honest plumber with a superb skillet, he's your go-to guy.

After our bathtub suddenly stopped draining in a house we moved into relatively recently, we called about midmorning, hoping to just get someone within a day. Instead, Advanced Plumbing had someone out in about an hour, who fixed the problem by about noon, for a fairly reasonable price. Faris was a nice guy and a great engineer, not only did he fix my boiler he also gave me some advice after I had been scammed by a different company who put a lot of pressure on to upsell me a new boiler. Reliant are an excellent group of plumbers/heating engineers. I've used them a number of times, ranging from installing a new boiler through to gas safe checks and general plumbing and cannot fault them. They always turn up on time, if not slightly early, and the works are completed tidily and efficiently and for a good price. Very much recommended.

I have nothing but good things to say about the service I received from the Reliant team. My boiler broke over Christmas and reliant were recommended to me and they didn’t disappoint. Ricky was round quickly to diagnose, and was reluctant to tell me all of the problems there were with my very old boiler. I decided to replace it and again received fab service from Dennis. They responded quickly, have done great work, were clean and tidy despite having to move multiple appliances to reach the boiler, took their time to show me how to use it and even took care around my pet! All of this for an incredibly reasonable price. I will definitely be coming back for any issues I have in the future and would recommend to everyone.
