Marcus came out to repair our boiler at short notice, excellent level of service at a very reasonable price, we would highly recommend his work.

I called Marcus to fix my broken shower waste and pipes, which was heavily clogged. He was also able to fix my leaking basin and properly fit the towel rail to the wall.

Pete previously installed a new boiler removing all the old pipework and tanks. Now services every year and does any other jobs that need doing (new radiators and pipework this time). Always goes above a beyond and at a great price so I wont be using anyone else.

We had an old Baxi boiler and needed to replace it. From start to finish Pete from PH Butler responded to emails/phone calls quickly and provided good info and advice during the site visit. When it came to the actual day of installation Pete and his team arrived at the allotted time and worked through the day until the job was finished. They had a few unexpected issues due to our old plumbing but dealt with these without any fuss. They protected the carpet on the stairs and landing and left everything clean and tidy. Richard visited my mothers today too replace very old bathroom mixer taps , After establishing it was impossible without replacing the bath which my mother did not want Richard did a fantastic job repairing the existing taps. An overview of my personal experience of the respective company: Mr Dean Pugh has proved himself to be a consummate professional, having undertaken tasks of a range of sizes. I had originally located ‘DRP Plumbing and Heating’ via another well-known review site and although based in Ashford his target area did indeed cover Kent as a whole. The primary task was the selection and installation of an energy efficient boiler (with as long a manufacturer’s warranty as possible) by a 'Gas Safe' registered engineer of long-standing. Given just how positive the pre-existing reviews were, I included his in a round of quotations. Dean readily inspired the essential level of confidence and the task was duly assigned. His attention to detail proved to be second to none and the boiler has indeed been a very sound investment in the years since. It was also pleasing to note the importance placed by Dean on leaving the installation area in a very tidy condition (which cannot, unfortunately, always be assumed these days). A couple of years later I found that my bathroom cistern had developed a really annoying slow leak; without hesitation I again called upon DRP’s services and the issue was rectified very promptly.

I've been a happy customer of DRP for more than ten years, Dean did the 9th consecutive annual boiler service before Christmas which was again undoubtedly amazing. Dean has been our go-to plumber for the last eight years. He has done a variety of plumbing work for us over the years and I recently called him about a leakage in one of the pipes where the hot water cylinder is and also a leakage from one of our radiators. He responded promptly and came over to have a look and identified the cause of the problem and fixed it very efficiently as usual. His customer service is excellent; he is very courteous, understanding and helpful. Competent, knowledgeable, clean and tidy. Very professional. Dean is an honest and reliable guy and I have always found his quotes to be very competitive. Finding a tradesman you can trust and build a relationship with when it comes to repair and maintenance work is a big plus and Dean is one of those people. We would thoroughly recommend him and will call him again when we need any plumbing work undertaken. Review Update on 25/1/2025 I can’t recommend Dean highly enough! He’s been my trusted plumbing expert for years, and every experience has been outstanding. Yesterday, he replaced a faulty pressure relief valve that connects to the hot water cylinder in our home, and once again, I was blown away by his expertise and professionalism. Lee came to service our boiler as well as fix several toilet issues and our water pressure. Lee was able to carry out all works and fix all the issues we had. Lee is great. He has fitted a completely new bathroom in our home. He guided us through the process answering all questions and recommending other great local trades people. The bathroom now looks brilliant. When we moved into our home he helped with lots of small repairs (leaking taps, radiators not working properly, installing new units etc) and was incredibly helpful and responsive. We had an emergency leak problem this evening and found Stephen's contact via a local group where he was highly recommended. Stephen came promptly even though it was late and he fixed the issue. He is very professional, polite, friendly and explained and showed us what had caused the problem and replaced the broken part. I called High Heating and Plumbing, as we needed a gas engineer to connect our new gas hob. We experienced excellent customer service, great and clear communications, and a prompt reply to our enquiry. We were given a date and time that suited us. Steve, the attending engineer was polite, professional and very tidy. After the swift installation, everything was explained in plain terms, and we were very happy with his work.
