This is the best place to send your child to practice for the Kent Test. I highly recommend Tutor World to anyone looking for 11 Plus tuition. Even though my son joined just before last month's test, I am very glad for what Ruvini did for him. I enrolled him for a mock test, and afterward, Ruvini clearly identified my son's weak areas. She explained exactly which areas he needed to improve and provided excellent guidance on how to do so. She also went over the topics with him, giving extra lessons to reinforce his understanding. This was incredibly helpful for my son, and it built his confidence before the exam, thanks to Ruvini. Ultimately, my son passed the exam very well. Ruvini is not only a great teacher, but she also has the confidence and ability to recognize a child's individual needs. Richard was great to speak too, gave brilliant feedback, and just helped my daughter take that extra step. He gave her confidence, and his message to her just resonated with her brilliantly. Whilst we didn't have regular tutoring, we gained valuable insight from the 11+ mocks and then a couple of 2 hrs intensive sessions the week before the Kent test.

Richard has been a fantastic tutor for my Daughter, who is shy, nervous and was very reluctant to go to a tutor! Richard was amazing at putting her at ease from the off, creating a positive learning environment, tailoring to her needs and making it fun. She originally saw him to give her confidence in her maths and English and then progressed to 11+ learning and she came on leaps and bounds. She looked forward to going every week! I wish he had been tutoring when my Son was doing his 11+ as we tried all the usual tutors in Ashford (large group sessions, using computers, 1:1) and none were as good. I’ll be brining my youngest to Richard in a couple of years. Thanks for everything!

Both my son and daughter have had tutoring with Richard and I can not recommend him highly enough. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable on the different areas of the curriculum and 11+ but he also has a way of making the children believe in themselves, giving them the confidence they need to succeed. Richard treats each child as an individual, tailoring his sessions to what the child needs as opposed to a ‘one hat fits all’ approach. He also gives you detailed feedback on your child’s progress and provides valuable advice for moving your child forward. Both my children enjoy going to Richard and do not see it as a chore. My son finds school a little tricky but having a quieter, encouraging environment at RP Tutoring he really is improving. Richard provides regular and helpful feedback on my sons progress and focuses on areas he finds more difficult rather than all of the curriculum. This really is beneficial as it does not waste time on areas he is strong at.

My daughter attended The Learning Academy for preparation for her 11plus, Kent test. The staff are professional, friendly and have a very calm and encouraging approach to teaching. My daughter enjoyed attending and received great result across all areas. Whilst there she grew in confidence, knowledge and self-belief. I highly recommend.

I highly recommend The Learning Academy. My daughter started attending at the beginning of Year 5 in preparation for her 11+ exam. She has so far benefited not only academically but her confidence is shining through. Having recently received a head teachers award at school for her maths work and since attending The Learning Academy is a subject she has gained much more confidence in. Parm and Surinder have been brilliant, creating a wonderful learning environment. My daughter leaves every class with a smile on her face and looks forward to the next.

As a family we cannot recommend The Learning Academy highly enough. The environment Parm and Surinder have created to allow children to reach their academic potential is outstanding. My kids have been attending for a good number of years and I have to say that Kumon has definately helped them improve in both Maths, English and given them more confidence in school, this is vindicated during parents evening as both receive glowing reports! Radikha and her team are excellent in providing support and guidance as and when needed. Highly recommended and definitely worth the money!

Radhika is a teacher who knows how to improve a child’s capabilities in Maths and English. My daughter attend Kumon and within 2 months I noticed an increase in skill set and was more confident when under taking a task. I would highly recommend visiting this centre if you feel your child needs that ‘extra push’. They will be tasked with homework everyday and there is space on the sheets where the child has to enter the start and end time. This is essential when prepping your child to understand the mechanics of time while under pressure during the exams.

My son has been attending kumon for many years and his performance and understanding of maths has rocketed. The format with the daily worksheets has helped him consolidate his understanding of particular topics. Generally each homework doesn’t take too long so it doesn’t get boring but the regularity means he retains the info better. When there are areas he’s struggling in Radhika and her team provide immediate support , even in days when he doesn’t attend the once weekly sessions. Radhika has been so encouraging and supportive to my son which has really helped improve his maths hugely and maintain this high level over the years .
