I cannot ask for more than a fantastic tutor. They are beautifully teaching my daughter what to expect in her year group. They know what to expect in SATS exams and teach accordingly. The tutor is adjusting according to our flexible time. I can ask them to teach if my child is weak in any topic and they are happy to teach over again. All-over, I'm so happy with the tuition provider.

I am highly impressed by Kumon Addlestone. My six year old son has been studying English with the centre for less than a year and his progress has been phenomenal - particularly his handwriting and reading. Cara, the manager, is attentive and conscientious. Following an initial discussion with myself, she assessed my son and picked up very quickly his strengths/weaknesses and tailored the starting point of the scheme to him. Since then she, and her team, have kept a close eye on him, reporting to us when they feel he is ready to progress up a level and supporting him with a calm and highly effective style. My wife and I are both trained teachers and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Kumon and, in particular, the Addlestone franchise to any parent who wants to support their child's English skills. Kumon has been invaluable for my daughters education giving her confidence as well as improving her knowledge of both English & Maths. With her learning disabilities the learning style really suited and Cara worked with us to find the right pace for her to manage and always ensured that she was comfortable and understood what she was doing before progressing. My child has been attending Kumon for Maths for a few months now, and we’ve seen incredible progress. The worksheets are challenging yet manageable, and they help build both confidence and problem solving skills. The instructors, especially Bhavika, are so supportive and are always available to address any concerns and tailor worksheets as appropriate. My child has developed a stronger work ethic and is understanding concepts at a pace that suits them. Their confidence has really grown. With regular progress meetings, and parent portals you can keep track of any areas which need more help, as well as access additional learning for home. My daughter had a poor start to Triple Science GCSE, her teacher was newly qualified and sacked by the end of Year 10. So, come Year 11, there was a lot of ground to cover. Elliott was recommended by a colleague. From the very first Zoom meeting, he has been exceptional. Immediately he identified Nell’s gaps, strengths and weaknesses and was able to deliver engaging, coherent and meaningful sessions to meet her needs and help her make progress. He has excellent subject knowledge, is super organised, encouraging and supportive. His delivery is warm and enthusiastic…Nell didn’t once complain about having a session with him (a miracle), her confidence grew and dare I say it, she even looked forward to his sessions! Elliott kept me in the loop regarding next steps for Nell and emailed exam papers and advice as her exams approached. Whatever grades Nell achieves will be largely down to Elliott. My only regret is we didn’t find him sooner.
